Posted on February 27, 2016 at 02:42 Hi, I have downloaded the source code for the ST25 demo Android app (1.0.2), and have found a bug with the SendInterrupt command inType4Tagm24sr7816STCommands.java: // SendInterrupt command // On receiving the SendInterrupt command the M24SR generates a negative pulse on the GPO pins // /!\ System file shall be selected by issuing the System Select command before static final byte[] m24sr7816STSendInterrupt = new byte[]{ (byte) 0xA2,(byte) 0xD6, // CAS , INS (byte) 0x00,(byte) 0x01, // P1 , P2 (byte) 0x00 }; However, P2 should be 0x1E as per M24SRxx datasheets. Posted on February 24, 2016 at 08:57Hi all, I'm using a M24SR memory connected by I2C bus to a Freescale M0 microcontroller. Given that the free space for the firmware is very little, I have problems integrating the ST library for reading and writing access to the NDEF files. So, I was wondering if it was possible to access the EEPROM memory directly without using the ISO-DEP protocol, but accessing to the locations of the EEPROM memory with standard I2C command. In my firmware I only have to access to a NDEF text file for reading and read the first 10 bytes of this file. So I ask you: Can I access in reading mode to any location of the EEPROM memory bypassing the state machine of the device? If yes, how can I find the starting address of the file that I previously wrote?Thank you all in advance Daniele #read-access #m24sr #eeprom

Posted on December 08, 2015 at 01:22The default configuration has 1 NDEF file that occupies the entire memory. Is it possible to slice up the memory between 2 or more NDEF files?  If more than one file can be created, what is the maximum number of files that on tag can accommodate? Is that 15 (inferred from SELECT command)? #ndef-st25ta64k

Posted on February 02, 2016 at 13:48Hello.How do I know that my design is good enough for all kinds of phones? We have the PCB inside a cabinet, where the phones can max be as close as 3-4cm to the antenna, (a PCB-antenna and a M24LR). How do we verify that we fulfill some kind of standard (in the receiving form). If we test with 1 or 2 phones, how do we know that all other phones on the marked (and future phones) will be able to work as well?Do it exist some kind of reference “device? (that we can buy), that guarantee that if it works with this, then it will work with all phones. All phones MUST be stronger then this reference to fulfill the standard…. Something like this. J

Posted on January 28, 2016 at 02:45I've turned up nothing relevant in forum and web searches, so I apologize in advance if it turns out I've overlooked something painfully obvious.I'm experiencing an issue with (SWO) debug output via printf(). When I first start my app in my debugger, I see nothing. If I break and then continue execution, I see output. If I break, reset, and continue, I see nothing. I also see nothing using the ST-LINK Utility to monitor output. Now for details...The target is an STM32L152RET. In order to speed initial development (I'm constrained by board production timelines), I bought an STM32L152C-Discovery board and replaced its xRCT C with an xRET variant. I've updated the firmware in the board's ST-LINK to whatever's current. My debugger is IAR's EWARM v. 7.50.2. My ST-LINK Utility is v. 3.8.0.Previous early development code run on an unmodified Discovery board exhibited no issues. I've not changed any configurable parameters between that workspace and the new

Posted on January 22, 2016 at 10:18Hi everyone, i try to connect M24SR chip with my MarS Board i.MX6 I didn't try to configure my inputs and outputs, just try to use it with command, that already exists in Linux.  For example with ''write()'' and ''read()'' like a work with normal files. I have problem with communication, all commands i sent - gave no result. Only one command i can sent and see it over my Osziloskop - 1) Slave adress select, it's 0x2d for my chip.2) 0x26 - to open the Session. After that i try to build a block command to select NFC-T4AC 02 00 A4 04 00 07 D2 76 00 00 85 01 01 00 CRC CRC After that i get write error -1Is it actually possible to send command with ''write/read'' functions?Adress of my M24SR chip with i2c-detect -y 0  -- 0x2D Thanks!

I connect to that pin a 5 V voltage, expecting to read something. The problem is that I don't read an

Posted on January 26, 2016 at 17:17Hello, I'm interested in the ''I2C Watchdog'' setting in the M24SR System file. There doesn't seem to be any information in the datasheet about it, and I couldn't find anything using google either. Anyone know if and how it works, what the value in this field means (is it boolean or a timeout Setting) ? I guess it could be interesting if it helps preventing I2C deadlock conditions automatically. Thanks in advance, kind regards, Chris PS Btw also thank you to ''product Support 3'' on the other thread ''how to lock for writing'' ... for some reason the Forum didn't allow me to post a reply over there... #m24sr-i2c-watchdog

Posted on September 30, 2015 at 17:08Hi,I write the NDEF area of a M24SR with an Android Application Record. Whenever I put the tag close to the phone, it launches an application, in my case the Calculator. That is ok.Now I want this tag to be write-protected, so its NDEF content is final and nobody can modify it anymore. I've tried using the ''M24SR Demo'' application to ''Lock Write Access''. I set a password successfully. However, now the Android phone does not launch the calculator application anymore when put next to this tag. It says ''non-compatible label''. Whenever I remove the password it works again. That is NOT what I want. I simply want the content of the tag to be read-only while still working flawlessly with Android. So, please tell me how to achieve this :) Thanks a lot in advance. #m24sr-password #m24sr-password

Posted on December 09, 2015 at 16:43Hi,I was wondering how can I interact with the M24SR in a continuous manner. I mean, now I can write and read the NDEF in my M24SR with my mobile phone, that is nice. On the other side, I also have a MCU attached to the M24SR tag. However, for my phone to read what something I have just written, I have to separate the phone and the M24SR tag, and place them near again.I was wondering how can I interact as fast as possible with the M24SR. For example, I would like to write some number using my phone to my M24SR tag (ex: '4'). Once written, the GPO pin flags this to the attached MCU I have. The MCU reads the fresh new NDEF content, adds '1' to the content, and it writes back '5' to the M24SR tag. Then, the mobile phone, without the need for separating them, reads back the result of the operation. Can this be done with M24SR? I guess there is something I can toggle to simulate a separation between M24SR and mobile phone. Maybe some command send by

Posted on November 27, 2015 at 16:56Hello, I have a problem with writing to the memory via I2C.Background info:1.I can read and write via NFC with the CR95HF Board from/to the memory. 2. If I want to get the system info of the M24LR64 it says: ''8013000F041FF177132C02E0B000FF07032CFFFF03  03 -> CRC HS (expected=965C)'' and doesn't give any answer. (I don't know if it it important for my problem)The Problem:If I communicate via I2C I get the ACK bit of the slave, that it received the data. But the data is not stored correctly (I can see it if I read out the memory via NFC). The data is stored at the right place, but not correct. For example the memory 0000 is 00 00 00 00 and I write FF FF FF FF to it. Then I read it out via NFC and there is 800800FFFFFFFFFFFF03 instead of FF FF FF FF. If the memory 0000 is FF FF FF FF and I write FF FF FF FF there is no problem. I hope someone can help me out. best regards and sorry for my english  #m24lr64 #i2

Posted on November 13, 2015 at 18:42Hello everyone, i need some help, so if anyone could, i'd be grateful. I need to start two timers instantaneously at the same time, when external event happens. Lets say, rising edge on the pin should trigger two timers to start. How it should look like can be seen in RM0090 18.3.15 - Timer Synchronization, Figure 179. However, i am not able to achieve is and i dont quite understand from RM which Timers can work as masters and which ones can work as slaves. I was trying different kind of combinations, but here is my code for now (which is not doing what i want). #include ''main.h''uint32_t counter = 0;int main(void){rcc_config();get_system_clocks();gpio_config();timers_config();GPIO_SetBits(GPIOD, GPIO_Pin_12);while(1){counter++;}}void get_system_clocks(void){RCC_GetClocksFreq(&rcc_struct);}void rcc_config(void){RCC_AHB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIODEN, ENABLE);RCC_AHB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOAEN, ENABLE);RCC_APB1PeriphClockCmd(RCC
