I have saved the attached project file in CubeMX, but I can not open it again. CubeMX just waits forever after I start to open it. What can I do? Please give me a hint quicly, I am working on an urgent project. Thanks.

I am using STM32L051K8 MCU in my project. All the project has been developed. Now there is a need to provide OTA firmware upload. For that I require to use I2C bootloader as I have alreadey interfaced I2C EEPROM. Please let me know whether it is possible on STM32L051K8 MCU.

Hi,I am working on board STM32L476G-DISCO, and I want build the example in STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.13.0 Repository, ({USERNAME}\STM32Cube\Repository\STM32Cube_FW_L4_V1.13.0\Projects\32L476GDISCOVERY\Examples\BSP),it all build successfully but at the end it show error (compiling main.c...linking...STM32L476G-Discovery\STM32L476G-Discovery.axf: Warning: L6988W: Ignoring unknown patch sdcomp-29491-629360.STM32L476G-Discovery\STM32L476G-Discovery.axf: error: L6050U: The code size of this image (33298 bytes) exceeds the maximum allowed for this version of the linker.Finished: 0 information, 1 warning, 0 error and 1 fatal error messages."STM32L476G-Discovery\STM32L476G-Discovery.axf" - 1 Error(s), 1 Warning(s).Target not created.)How to solve this problem??????Regards.Rizwan

Hi all,I'm faced with a strange issue: updating the RTC calendar does not seem to be possible after a wake-up from standby mode.I have a piece of code that updates the RTC calendar (date and time are uint32_t):// rtc disable write protection RTC->WPR = 0xCA; RTC->WPR = 0x53;     // rtc enable calendar init RTC->ISR |= RTC_ISR_INIT; while ((RTC->ISR & RTC_ISR_INITF) != RTC_ISR_INITF) {}   // set the time rtc_set_time(time); rtc_set_date(date);   // rtc disable calendar init RTC->ISR &= ~RTC_ISR_INIT; // rtc enable write protection RTC->WPR = 0XFF;   This piece of code can be called multiple times to change the RTC calendar without any issue. It works well. However if the MCU enters standby mode and then exists that mode, this code won't work anymore, because the following loop of code never ends:while ((RTC->ISR & RTC_ISR_INITF) != RTC_ISR_INITF) {}I can still read the calendar and it works fine, but I can't update it.

Hi everyone ,We are using our custom bootloader firmware to update our main firmware. To do that we set a flag at a specific location at RAM and reset the MCU.The flag size is 1 byte.At the bootloader firmware read the data from RAM and if this data macthes our flag then entering update fırmware function. After update we clear the data at this RAM location. All this sequence energy is allways ON .We think when turn off the power all RAM data will be cleared. But some of our devices read this flag after energized. Is this because of bootloader firmware use this RAM location and set the data same as our Flag or it holds the old data ?

Dear I want to update the NVM memory on the STUSB4500. May I know the procedure of this, I download the STUSB003 SW lib. it not showing how to write NVM. My guessupdate the register call function void nvm_flash(uint8_t Port)reset Am I right?? also what is the meaning inside STUSB_NVM.h Vic

Hello, I am using nucleo stm32f429zi. I want to add MCP3304 SPI with my controller. It works properly, but my spi clock is 1.325MHz, which means my channel sample rate will be 1.325MHz/21=63095Hz (sample rate for 4 differential channels). so each channel only has 15773Hz sample rate. is it possible to refine my spi clock frequency close to 2Mhz?Thank you for all helps.

I need this in order to build an interface with this controller in my product.

HiI used a NucleoF072RB and Cube MX. I use Atollic TrueStudio.I wanted to know how to setup and AND before integrating it in another project. So I created a new blank project. I set tup the porject as per the picture ADC_setup. No pin were activated on the MCU (except the default settings).I generate my code. It compiles. I test one line of code: /* Infinite loop */ /* USER CODE BEGIN WHILE */ while (1) {  /* USER CODE END WHILE */ temp3++;  /* USER CODE BEGIN 3 */I previously wrote this right afterMX_ADC_Init(): /* Initialize all configured peripherals */ MX_ADC_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN 2 */ /*Calibrating the ADC*/ ADC1->CR &= !ADC_CR_ADEN; ADC1->CR |= ADC_CR_ADCAL; while ((ADC1->CR & ADC_CR_ADCAL) != 0){  temp++; } /* Enable ADC*/ ADC1->CR |=ADC_CR_ADEN; while((ADC1->ISR & ADC_ISR_ADRDY) == 0){  temp2++; } /* USER CODE END 2 */temp4++;Wh

Question regarding an implementation of RS485 on an STM32.The application note (reference guide) refers to 4 bits stored in the USART_CR2 register which can be used as an address comparison to aid with waking only when required.“Address mark detection (WAKE=1)In this mode, bytes are recognized as addresses if their MSB is a ‘1 else they are considered as data. In an address byte, the address of the targeted receiver is put on the 4 LSB. This 4-bit word is compared by the receiver with its own address which is programmed in the ADD bits in the USART_CR2 register.?But this limits the number of devices to 15 (plus a master) and the RS485 standard can handle 32 connections and the address is sent as a full byte (so theoretically 255 connected devices)So; is this a handy device they’ve provided if you only want a few connected devices or am I missing something more?

I downloaded the last version of stm32cubeMX and touchGFXdesigner, I am trying to test some examples of touchGFX, when I open the generated .ioc file for the target stm32F746G-Discovery V2.0.0, I saw the proyect needs the STM32Cube FW_F7 V1.13.0 package, but stm32cubemx show me an error "error downloading the following file stmcube32_fw_v1130.zip" and I can't find the package to manual download. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

Will the support LL drivers? Does anybody know it? I love LL drivers. Thank you.

Hi folks, currently I am working on an communication with a sensor via QuadSpi using the STM32F446 controller. The QuadSpi Bank1 was chosen, but unfortunately the hardware designer did not connect the Chip Select signal (CS) to the pin that corresponds to the QuadSpi Bank1 (according to the pinout is either PB6 or PG6) but to the pin PC7. Could this be a reason for the QSPI communication not to work? Indeed, it is not working (in the oscilloscope I only see the QSPI CLk signal but the data inputs remain low). The same code works in another board where the pins were correctly chosen according to the pinout. But I thought that this issue would not be meaningful (not to connect the CS signal to the right pin). Thanks a lot for your supportJorge

Hello, I am able to compile the M4 examples and it looks as though they run as expected ( I can see the log trace on the A7 side from the linux console). I would like to examine the log trace from the M4 side also as I would like to modify some of these examples for further use. In the OpenAMP_TTY_echo example (main.c) are the following lines  log_info("Cortex-M4 boot successful with STM32Cube FW version: v%ld.%ld.%ld \r\n",                                           ((HAL_GetHalVersion() >> 24) & 0x000000FF),                                          &nb

Hello.I was using CubeMX to configure an ADC and a comparator both with enabled interrupt. After the code generation I looked into the init functions but I could not find any interrupt configuration (priority setting and enabeling). In the HAL_COMP_START_IT function there is the starting of the interrupt. But not the priority setting. So my question is, where is the code generated by CubeMX which does set the interrupt priority? Or do I have to set that manually?best regards, Benjamin.

I'm using an STM32F769 for a project. I'm trying to continuously stream ADC samples to a buffer. I can fill the buffer without issue, but the DMA never recirculates back to the beginning. I don't get any DMA errors, and the ADC is still running (I can see the DR value change in the debugger if I halt).Any ideas? The DMA configuration is below.// Intermediate buffers for DMA streaming.static struct tag_sample_buffer { uint16_t samples[2][1024];} sampleBuffer[3]; DMA_InitTypeDef dmaInit; dmaInit.Direction = DMA_PERIPH_TO_MEMORY; dmaInit.PeriphInc = DMA_PINC_DISABLE; dmaInit.MemInc = DMA_MINC_ENABLE; dmaInit.PeriphDataAlignment = DMA_PDATAALIGN_HALFWORD; dmaInit.MemDataAlignment = DMA_MDATAALIGN_HALFWORD; dmaInit.Mode = DMA_CIRCULAR; dmaInit.Priority = DMA_PRIORITY_HIGH; dmaInit.FIFOMode = DMA_FIFOMODE_DISABLE; dmaInit.FIFOThreshold = DMA_FIFO_THRESHOLD_HALFFULL; dmaInit.MemBurst = DMA_MBURST_SINGLE; dmaInit.PeriphBurst = DMA_PBURST_SINGLE; hDma[0].Init = dmaInit; hDma[0].Instance = DMA2_

I have a small project that coded and prototyped on a 32F0308DISCOVERY board (STM32F030R8T6). It works perfectly on the Discovery board.I now want to switch over to using a STM32F030F4P6 programmed by the ST-Link that's on the Discovery board (CN2 jumpers removed). I made a new project in CubeMX with the new target (I am using Keil MDK5) and tried to flash the STM32F030F4P6, but had no success. So, I went to what I think is the bare minimum and simply tried to do a full erase of the chip using ST-Link Utility and STM32CubeProgrammer and I could not get that to work either. Here is what I have connected on the STM32F030F4P6:Pin1 (BOOT0) connected to Discovery GroundPin4 (NRST) connected to Discovery CN3 Pin5Pin5 (VDDA) connected to Pin16 (VDD) connected to Discovery 3voltsPin15 (VSS) connected to Discovery GroundPin19 (SWDIO) connected to Discovery CN3 Pin4Pin20 (SWCLK) connected to Discovery CN3 Pin2I also have Discovery CN3 Pin1 connected to 3volts.Both the ST-Link Utilit

STM32G070. It is said there are 4 USARTS in the datasheet. For USART3/4, there is no place talking about the clock source for them. Would you please tell us what's the clock source for the USART3/4?

How to install mono on my STM32MP157C-DK2?Thanks

Hi,I need to match motor speed with the speed of the measured device. My idea is to toggle pin when encoder pulses count reaches some value.I was unable to generate an interrupt on a specific count, so I decide to react on each pulse and check count.I use interrupt: HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallbackInterrupt body is quite simple:void HAL_TIM_IC_CaptureCallback(TIM_HandleTypeDef *htim) { count1= TIM1 -> CNT;   if ((TIM1 -> CNT) >=1000) { TIM1 -> CNT=0; } }But when I set a breakpoint on TIM1 -> CNT=0;I read from registry CNT and it's always more than 1000. I was expecting to be equal 1000 on interrupt.Perhaps I chose the wrong interrupt but it was the only one that I was able to fire on encoder work. Also when I'm checking CNT in main program loop I hit breakpoint on CNT larger than 2000. while(1) { counter = TIM1 ->CNT;   if (counter >= 2000) { counter =0; TIM1 -> CNT =0; } }I'm working now on True studio and I have a feeling that on AC6 it was wor

Does anybody know which silicon revision code is actually in production for the STM32H7 family?

I'm using STM32CubeMX 5.0.1 for creating projectsWhile configuring GPIO using configuration window the properties windows on the bottom of selected GPIO pin overrides the visibility of other GPIO pins at the bottom on configuration window It is not scrolling to view, but we need to select different operation to make all GPIO visibleI'm attaching the screen shots of GPIO Config window without Properties and with PropertiesIt would be better to make gpio config with scrolling to view the bottom GPIO while property window is open

Hi All,I am currently working on creating a file system on an stm32f207, using the nucleo board for the time being while I wait for my custom boards. The board will have an SD card as well as a USB. I have made a simple function for creating a folder onto a drive:FRESULT f_CreateFolder( const TCHAR* path){   FRESULT fr;   // Create folder/directory fr = f_mkdir(path); if(fr == FR_OK){   // Success // TODO: f_mkdir Something to happen when successful   } else{   // Error // TODO: f_CreateFolder make directory error   }   return fr; } // END f_CreateFolderthe "f_mdir" has no calls to which drive it is referring to, so if both SD and USB are mounted, how do I choose which drive to create a folder on??Finally, I have been succesful with creating a single folder on the SD (yet to try on USB but I can't imagine it being any different) but I am not sure how to create folders within folders, if that makes sense lol. This works to create folders

Hello,I understand that many STM32 support USB OTG, so they can be USB hosts. What if I want to connect more than one device? Can I connect a USB hub and control several devices at the same time?
