Hi all,I used STM32H7S78-DK and everything was fine: I was able to load and flash the "HVAC Iot Demo" from TouchGFX Designer at the first time and develop my application using STM32CubeIDE.Then I bought an STM32N6570-DK and did the same procedure as before, but I was not able to flash that demo.I can successfully generate the code inside the TouchGFX Designer (version 4.26.0) but, when I push the button "Program and run target", I get this kind of error: Erasing memory corresponding to segment 0:Erasing external memory sector 0Error: failed to erase memoryError: failed to erase memoryc:/TouchGFXProjects/STM32N6570DK/IotDemo/MyApplication/gcc/include/flash_sections_int_ext.mk:18: recipe for target '_fsblflash_' failedmake[2]: *** [_fsblflash_] Error 1makefile_fsbl:45: recipe for target 'flash' failedmake[1]: *** [flash] Error 2../../gcc/Makefile:8: recipe for target 'flash' failedmake: *** [flash] Error 2FailedFailed Can anyone please help me?

Hi !We're testing with the eval-boards NUCLEO-H7S3L8 + X-NUCLEO-67W61M1.The software is the CLI project of the NUCLEO-H7S3L8.At the bottom of this post you will find infos to the software versions. There we're having an issue when we try to connect to an WiFi AP and the password includes a comma (',').It looks the ST67W6X_Network_Driver is encoding and sending the AT-command correctly, but the NCP (ST67W611M1) response with ERROR.So it seems to us it's an issue of the NCP firmware.Via Shell/CLI we initiate the connection to the WiFI AP via the command wifi_sta_connect.When we set the password at the AP to "pw123456" we can connect to the AP.When we set the password at the AP to "pw123,56" we can not connect to the AP.For debugging we followed the code in the ST67W6X_Network_Driver till function W61_AT_Common_SetExecute(..).There the AT-command is sent and the response is received. If the password is not including a comma, it is connecting to the WiFi AP successfully. The communication of

Hello everyone,I'm writting today because I have some questions about the memory assignment of the flash on dual core devices such as stm32h745 mcu.I'm trying to assign a direction for the boot program, imagine 20k from "0x08000000". Afterwards I wan to assign 1.5mb for the cm7 and the rest for the cm4.As I understand, by default the flash is separated in 2 banks, first bank for the cm7 and second one for the cm4.I wanted to know if it was possible to use the first bank and half of the second for the cm7, and the rest for the cm4.If so, how I should proceed to achieve that? Because I managed to set the beginning of cm4 on another memory direction by setting the FLASH_BANK2_BASE define, but I don't feel like this is the best approach.Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Best regards,RPC

Hello,Right now I am using 2 STM32WBA55G-DK1, one as PBP_Source and other is TMAP_Peripheral. The source consists of 2 BIS channels and in TMAP, I have included language selection option to include the subgroup or channel selection. And its working fine. But if I select Unicast option and pair with S24 mobile, only first channel or subgroup I can select, not the 2nd one. May I know whats the reason and how to overcome from this. Thank you

Hello,I am trying to start a new project on a STM8s003K3 discovery kit, i have downloaded and installed STVD without a problem but I can't download Cosmic C Compiler. The download link in the Cosmic site is not working, I have tried anything I can think of (changing DNS settings, resetting IP, checking host file) to fix timeout error thinking the problem was on my end but I can't download it on another pc connected to another WiFi either so I think it is the download link which is broken. Any ideas what might be the issue? If this is unfixable there any other opensource compiler for stm8s?

Hi,i have a bit of situation here.I wanted to try a zigbee example from cube mx (On/off ED).So i first flashed the FUS v2.2.0 on the device. But now it turns out that i can not flash the desired FW anymore : stm32wb5x_Zigbee_FFD_fw.bin.It only errors :(I have the feeling that this FW is not working with FUS 2.2?If so - I am right that i can not downgrade FUS anymore once it is updated? This basically would mean i wasted hundreds of EURs for those dev boards.

Hello everyone,I am using the X-NUCLEO-NFC10A1 NFC reader with an NXP MCU.I am able to successfully detect a MIFARE Classic 4K card using this reader. However, when I try to authenticate a sector for read/write access, I encounter an issue.I am sending the authentication command using the sequence:[ AUTH_CMD + BLOCK_ADDRESS ]After sending this command, I get a timeout error.I tried increasing the timeout value, but the issue still persists. When I manually append the CRC to the authentication command and transmit it, the reader returns a framing error.Could someone please confirm:    Is this the correct way to perform MIFARE Classic 4K authentication using the ST25R200?    If yes, what could be the reason for the timeout or framing error? If anyone has reference code, application notes, or examples related to MIFARE Classic authentication with ST25R200, please share.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi all, I've recently been working on a Nucleo H723ZG with a working implementation that allows for ADC reading over DMA. I've got a Timer event that triggers it at 20kHz and it was reading and processing multiple ADCs. I've shifted to using a custom developed board with a surface mounted STMH733VGT6. I've configured the ADCs and timers to what I believe is the exact same as before. I have verified that there is nothing wrong with the ADC circuitry by initially setting them up using poll for conversion, I was able to get valuable data out of the board doing this. When I went to setup the ADCs to use DMA however I started to have issues, I believe that theHAL_ADC_ConvCpltCallback isn't being called but I am not sure why, I set a break point in there which is never reached. Below I have copied in my TIM1 init function as well as my ADC1 init function in hopes that it may help someone assist me with my issue.  Really appreciate you taking the time to read this and assis

I am using STM32F103C8T6 MCU and STM32CubeIDE ver 19.0.0. When i enabled PA8- PWM generation Channel 1 i get warning RCC Mode and Configuration Tab: Master Clock Output as a error/warning. I have reset state the PA8 pin again enabled as TIM1_CH1 and Tim1 setting Channel 1 : PWM generation CH1 again same error/warning i have get. when generated code closly monitored i didnot find and MCO related code in main.c. What to do? should i ignore cubeMX warning/error and relay on generated code?

Hello, recently I made a board for a project and was planning to flash firmware  with ST-LINK/V2. However, when I wanted to flash a test program I got a message from Console:Target no device foundError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target. I checked all the connections and VDD pins with decoupling caps and looks like everything is properly connected. Yet still I don't understand what is the reason of not connecting. Schematic of the project:Physical connections:Attached as connections.jpeg  I upgraded ST-LINK tool to the latest version and the MCU I am using is STM32G474CET3ST-LINK/V2 model: B202533Most of the design is just copied from the Reference design STM32G4 Series document.Any help is highly appreciated.

I'm using STM32CubeIDE Version 2.0.0 and would like to get the size of all the object files in my build. I know I can do this in Project Settings->C/C++ Build->Settings->Build Steps->Post-build steps->commands using arm-non-eabi-size, but what is the variable that expands to the names of the object files, and how do I use it?

I am working with an STM32N series MCU (STM32N657 / NUCLEO-N657X0-Q) and project generated with STM32CubeMX (Toolchain = Makefile). The workspace root contains:• GPIO_IOToggle.ioc• MakefileHowever, in VS Code (latest version) with STM32 VS Code Extension installed, the option “Setup STM32Cube project(s)” remains disabled (Greyed out). The project builds and debugs correctly when .vscode/launch.json is created manually, so the project itself is valid.Expected behavior:The extension should allow setup of existing CubeMX-generated Makefile projects, not only projects created via the extension or CLT.Environment:• macOS• STM32CubeMX (GUI)• STM32CubeCLT installed• VS Code latestThis appears to be a UX limitation or detection bug.

Hi. Unfortunately, after several days of struggling with USBX, I'm forced to ask for your help. I'm using custom boards with the STM32h503RB and STM32h563VI. I tested the old library according to forum guides – no response when connected to a PC. The closest I've gotten is following the guide for USBX C0. Windows recognizes the CDC device and assigns a COM port, but there's no response when attempting to open the port.USBX standalone, interrupt enabled, Clock 48MHz, CRS enabled, mempoll size 8*1024, stack size 6*1024https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43gcc2dGnxQ int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /* Configure the system clock */ SystemClock_Config(); /* USER CODE BEGIN SysInit */ /* USER CODE END SysInit */ /* Initi

Hallo.I want to measure a pwm-signal (period 20ms, Puls 1,5ms +- 0,5ms)I made a assembler program to capture the positive and negative transitions of the signal according the RefManual RM0016, Rev14, page 170.I tried various versions but the negative transition is never captured, TIM1_CCR2 contains the period value or 0. TIM1CCR1 contains the period value as expected.where is my fault ?Please support.SincerelyChristianstm8/ ;************************************************************************ ; TITLE: fsm1.asm ; AUTHOR: SCh, 25 10 01 SCh ; Copyright 2015- , Dipl.-Ing.Christian Schmid, A-4973 St.Martin ; DESCRIPTION: Funkschaltmodul ; ; 0.10, 24 07 24 SCh, erster Test ? ; 0.13, 25 11 11 SCh, ; 0.14, 25 11 12 SCh, ;************************************************************************ ;Macros ;---------------------- #include "mapping.inc" #include "STM8S105x.asm" ;<- verwendeter uC K4 ;Konstante (bytes) BYTES FREQ EQU 2 ;=fmaster=fosz/CLK_CKDIVR NSER EQU 8 ;Anzahl

Strange things are happening: I'm running STM32CubeIDE under macOS 15.7.2 (I must admit it is OCLP Sequoia). A couple of minutes ago I was able to open .ioc files in my project - not sure whether that was before the upgrade. Nowthe .ioc are upper strip blue, lower half green. What does that mean? When I invoke the .ioc by double click, it switches over to my Windows VM (Parallels) and fires up CubeMX there (a very old version). When the VM is not running, STM32CubeIDE does nothing. The .ioc is not opened like I was used to before. I'm now updating. I'm puzzled.

Hi everyone!Could someone help me to understand a problem with STM32G070.We have deployed approx. 50-60 devices with stm32g070 MCU that saves some parameters in FLASH every 24 hours. I know that according to datasheet FLASH memory endurance for this MCU is 1000 cycles. So, in theory, this MCU can work normally 2.7 years. It is also worth to mention that this period is defined for temperature range of -40 to +85°C. Recently, we had a relative cold weather with a temperature ranging from 0 to -10°C. This is far from -40°C that we see in datasheet. However, we had 5-6 devices that have corrupted parameters area (last page from 128K FLASH memory).I was able to reproduce this situation in the office. So I wanted to ask you guys if you had such a strange behavior with this MCU or another one. I need to mention also that this board is coated with special waterproof-coating.Erase and program functions looks like that:HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); uint32_t defectPages; FLASH_EraseInitTypeDef EraseInitSt

Hi, I'm currently working on a project with an H755 board. The project uses UART communication. I'm developing it on a Windows 11 computer, and it generally works fine on that computer. So far, there are no issues. However, after completing the project, I'd like to be able to use it on my older laptop (currently running Windows 10 with ESU). Here's the problem: my Windows 10 computer doesn't recognize the STLink virtual COM port. It only sees the device as a standard COM port with a Microsoft driver (not ST Microelectronics), and its UART communication then doesn't work.I don't have CubeIDE installed on my laptop. I don't need it on this computer. Should I install the driver manually? If so, where can I find it? Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I am starting use of UM3029 Rev 3 (STM32C0 HAL drivers) and trying ensure I use HAL_SYSCONFIG_SetPinBinding properly (important because the 6 usable IO pins are multiply bonded to device peripheral pads.)I am working with STM32C011J6 (SO8 package) and am using STM32CubeMX and HAL to create example device support code (i.e., drivers.)UM3029 Rev 3 section 6 (HAL System Driver) takes me to section 6.2.1 (HAL Bind Pin Config) which has a listing for some device package/pin assignments for GPIO (my current task is to get a pin working as GPIO input), however, the list does not include any defines for SO8 package. The instruction I'm currently trying to verify (generated by STM32CubeMX for my project) is HAL_SYSCFG_SetPinBinding(HAL_BIND_SO8_PIN5_PA8), but there are others and I'd like to fully understand the utility of this function and it's arguments.I looked in UM3029 Rev 3 for a listing of allowed arguments to SetPinBinding for C0 series SO8 package in UM3029 and came up empty hande

Hi,Few days ago i've encountered a strange behavior of the comparator at STM32G4. I investigated the problem under controlled conditions (used Nuclo kit instead application PCB) and the result is startling.Comparator 4 configured to get positive input from pin PB0, negative from DAC1 Channel 1 (set to 500mV).Hysteresis set to maximum (70mV)DAC output is not connected to external pin (only internal connection)Input signal is 50Hz sinewave with 400mV amplitude and 600mV offset (to reliably cross 500mV thresholds +- hysteresis)Enabled Comparator 4 rising edge interrupt.Interrupt routine simply generates fixed length pulse. On blue scope trace you can see clean input signal (scope input AC coupled), it certainly does not contain noise that would be close to hysteresis value (more detail at last screen). On Red trace is application output. You can see that many times interrupt fires also on falling edge, or fires multiple times on tha same rising edge. It looks like that comparator works with
