Hi i am using an cr95hf. After using an idel command and waking up afterwards any command I send after the idle wont work. I don't even get a polling response. Unfortunately I can't find anything in the cr95hf datasheet telling me if i need to reset or anything similar after exiting the idle mode. Also I am using the cr95hf as the plug and it is connected to an atmega 128 and I am communicating via SPI.

Nowadays nobody has single core CPU where project is building, so this option should be enabled by default, or configurable in CubeMX.

In my STM32F72xx/3xx project, I'm not allocating memory dynamically, i.e., I'm using neither malloc nor free. And I'm restricting myself to C, with no C++ parts. Is there a reason I shouldn't set the heap size to zero? Do any of the drivers, HAL or CMSIS, or FatFs, rely on the heap?

I have STM32H743ZI nucleo board. I want to generate code from CubeMx with FreeRTOS.But CMSIS RTOS API is mandotary. I dont want to use CMSIS RTOS API as interface. is there any way to generate code with FreeRTOS without CMSIS RTOS API.

There are multiple alternating functions for one peripherals. Why and what is the difference?

We are running up to 10 temperature sensors which are connected to PC with RS-485 via daisy chain topology. These sensors are placed across the line of sight. Now I am planning to replace RS-485 connection with wireless one while increasing the operating distance up to 2-3 km between the PC and the last sensor in the chain. The PC should collect results in real time every 1-2 seconds (the sensor's result consists of 3 bytes). Measurement results should be available in real time, i.e. received directly. Is it possible to use LoRaWAN for this application? Can you help with a starter kit and sample code, e.g. for longest connection: PC < 2-3km distance > sensor node (the last one in a future chain)?NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. Hello everyone, I am a beginner on STM32F4. I want to using DMA for receiving data via USART. But it doesnot work, please help me to solve the problem. Here is my code:void USART2_ConfigDMA(void){  DMA_InitTypeDef DMA_InitStructure;  RCC->AHB1ENR = RCC_AHB1ENR_DMA1EN;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_BufferSize = 10;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_FIFOMode = DMA_FIFOMode_Disable ;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_FIFOThreshold = DMA_FIFOThreshold_1QuarterFull ;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_MemoryBurst = DMA_MemoryBurst_Single ;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_MemoryDataSize = DMA_MemoryDataSize_Byte;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_MemoryInc = DMA_MemoryInc_Enable;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_Mode = DMA_Mode_Circular;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_PeripheralBaseAddr =(uint32_t) (&(USART2->DR)) ;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_PeripheralBurst = DMA_PeripheralBurst_Single;  DMA_InitStructure.DMA_PeripheralDataSize = DMA_Peripheral

I want to use DMA on my stm32h7 board, but i can find which channel is used for what protocol ect.

I was wondering if it's possible to use dual-flash memory mode with TouchGFX, and if so is there any documentation available ?

Posted on October 11, 2017 at 17:26Hi,I have a L432KC Nucleo 32 and it never runs as fast as I expect it to.I have configured the clocks in STM32CubeMX as shown in my attached screenshot. I've configured MCO to match the SYSCLK so I can measure it with my oscilloscope.According to STM32CubeMX, the SYSCLK should be 80MHz, but when I measure it with my oscilloscope, it's only 8MHz. If I change some things (e.g. use HSI RC instead of MSI RC) then I can get different speeds, but they never match the value shown in STM32CubeMX.My only guess is that this being a low power version of STM32, does it work in some kind of low power mode with a lower clockspeed by default? If so, how do I get it out of that? Thanks for your help,Colin#nucleo-l432kc #stm32cubemx

Posted on January 31, 2018 at 16:47It looks like the latest STM32CubeH7 is still missing the LL low-layer API? Is it coming and if so, when please?#stm32h7 #ll-drivers

I am leaning to program the H743ZI and have a simple application where the user leds blink at a certain rate given by a delay produced by a for loop. When the code is uploaded, I get the desired rate. If I disconnect and connect the board again, the program still runs, but at a slower LED blink rate. If I upload the code again, all is back to normal.

Hi,I am attempting to port the MotionFX Library example to another processor. The project I am using as a reference is the DataLogFusion project for the STM32L476RG-Nucleo in the X-CUBE-MEMS1 V6.0.1. I am trying to compile it on another ARM Cortex M4F Processor and am getting the following error:Output/Release/Exe/project.elf uses VFP register arguments, ./STM32_MotionFX_Library/Lib/MotionFX_CM4F_wc32_ot.a(motion_fx.o) does notIt seems as the MotionFX Library has been compiled using software floating points and does not utilise the FPU. Is this so it can also be used on the M4? Are there any available pre-compiled versions of the library using the FPU on the M4F?

Hi,when porting some code that uses CubeMX LL drivers to a H7, I noticed that CubeMX doesn't allow selecting LL drivers for any peripherals, but insists on using HAL for everything. Is there a particular reason that LL drivers can't be used on the H7, or will there be LL driver support at some point in the future? Thanks, Patrick

Long ago promised; twice deferred. Please update your community on this release! Thank you!Regards,Dave

I have STM32L496QG soldered on my PCB. I can use only Boot Loader via Serial COM port. I tried to use ST's Flash Loader Demonstrator, it doesn't work. I need some Windows -based software. What can you recommend?

Hello, I'm currently looking into the ST NFC Eval boards, as I'm planning a small project involving NFC and dataloggers. For my needs the NFC04A1 should be perfect, so I am looking at the drivers and example codes given in X-CUBE_NFC4. In the nfc04a1_nfctag.c file, I noticed the NFC04A1_NFCTAG_DeInit function, a variable called NfctagInitialized is set to 0, and there is a function that checks if the tag is initialized which just returns the value of NfctagInitialized. The issue is, in the NFC04A1_NFCTAG_Init function, this variable is never changed to 1, so I fail to see that the check function will ever return anything other that "Uninitialized". Obviously I can easily edit the code so that this isn't an issue, but I wonder how much else on the examples hasn't been implemented. Ideally I want to write my code knowing the functions in the driver work, so if there are any known issues it would be very useful to know them in advance. Codeint32_t NFC04A1_NFCTAG_Init (uint32_t Instance) {

Hello,I wrote an application in which I used an STM32F446 controller(from an STM-32 nucleo board) to configure an external interrupt using a push button. This is my configuration:enabled EXTI0 line and I'm using my push button connected to PA0 to generate falling edge interruptsI have implemented the 'EXTI0_IRQHandler' function and confirmed that the code goes there and the interrupt gets processed properly. However I still have one thing about the debugger which bugs me :). I have put few two breakpoints in the endless while(1) loop to see the flow of the code like this: one on line 47(int a = 1) one on line 49(in c = 3). Then one breakpoint in the ISR to make sure the code goes there when I press the button. If I cycle through the breakpoints by 'run'(f5) then everything works fine. However if I just step through the code in the while loop(by pressing f10) and then I press the button to trigger the falling edge interrupt I would expect the code to go to line 56(beginning of the ISR).

Hello, setting up STM32L412 SPI for 16 bit Spi transfer and doing:    uint16_t *SPI_DR = (uint16_t*)&SPI1->DR;   *SPI_DR = 0;//   while (~SPI1->SR & SPI_SR_TXE) {NutSleep(0);}   *SPI_DR = 0;results in only 16 bit shifted out. With the check for TXE enabled, 32-bits are shifted out as expected. FRXTH is set to 0: RXNE event is generated if the FIFO level is greater than or equal to 1/2 (16-bit) The registers are CR1 = 0x34d, CR2 = 0xf00, SR = 0x2I did not find any restrictions in back to back write in the datasheet. PCLK is 16 MHz. But it seems the second write is ignored. I don't see an errata regarding this issue too.

I am using STM32F401RE and M24SR64-Y to read data from or write data on Mifare tags, and I have some questions, Can I use X-CUBE-NFC4 software with M24SR64-Y ? , as on your site the only compatible software is X-CUBE-NFC1.So, please can you explain to me how can I use M24SR64-Y to read data from or write data on MifareClassic (NDEF Formatable) Tag?Also how can I change st.com in the code?i changed st.com into facebook.com /* Prepare URI NDEF message content */ strcpy( URI.protocol,URI_ID_0x01_STRING ); strcpy( URI.URI_Message,"facebook.com" ); strcpy( URI.Information,"\0" );and the output doesn't change from st.com to facebook.com !! I replaced all "st" in the code with "facebook" and again the output doesn't change.Do you have any idea how is that possible to write "st.com" on the tag while there isn't any "st" in the code?!!!!

We are using your VL6180X Proximity sensor, gesture and ambient light sensing (ALS) module for a time of flight sensing application. We are experiencing a problem with unreliable measurement results from the sensor: some sensors output a low value (10 - 20 mm) with no target present, and sometimes low readings (50 - 60 mm) when a target is ~800 mm away. These problems seem consistent with cover glass selection and air gap distance. Do you have any experience with these types of problems? NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. Hi there! I am actually fighting again i2c communication on the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 evaluation board (STM32L072CZ). Basically I would like to interface a NXP MMA8652 accelerometer over the I2C bus. I was able to do that (get the "who am I" register, get x/y/z acceleration values) with an Arduino board but could not get it properly run on the ST. I can actually see the 100kHz SCL/SDA on the scope but the accelerometer only answers 0xff to all requests.I used CubeMX to set the board, (I2C base freq is 2,048MHz), and based my code on the "I2C_TwoBoards_AdvComIT" example from ST.The code is pretty simple, IT based.Init: hi2c1.Instance = I2C1; hi2c1.Init.Timing = 0x00000708; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress1 = 0; hi2c1.Init.AddressingMode = I2C_ADDRESSINGMODE_7BIT; hi2c1.Init.DualAddressMode = I2C_DUALADDRESS_DISABLE; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress2 = 0; hi2c1.Init.OwnAddress2Masks = I2C_OA2_NOMASK; hi2c1.Init.GeneralCallMode = I2C_GENERALCALL_DISABLE; hi2c1.Init.NoStretchMode = I2C_NOSTRETCH_DISABLE; if (
