I'm using an old IKS01A1 expansion board which is equipped with a LPS25HB pressure sensor.Unfortunately this sensor is not supported by X-CUBE-MEMS1 software pack ...

Currently I'm working with an "old" IKS01A1 expansion board which should be populated with a LSM6DSO 3D acceleration and gyroscope sensor:But running the X-CUBE-MEMS1 software fails due to a wrong chip ID.The software expects 0x6C but the chip has 0x68.After downloading the newest LSM6DSO datasheet I can see the difference (and not only the chip ID ;-))old version 2014:lastest version:

Hello, I am using SPC560C50L3 microcontroller for my application. I am trying to implement Non-Maskable interrupt at the pin number PA[1]. I tried configuring the NMI related registers but while executing the NMI configuration function the core is getting halted or core will be executing the unknown instruction. I attaching my sample code for your reference. Please do suggest how I can configure the NMI function successfully.Also I am not finding the interrupt mapping for NMI. Kindly someone please share me the vector address mapped or the IRQ handler (number or callback) associated with NMI.Regards,R.Santhamurthy

I just bought a Nucleo board (F446) and per the documentation it mentions that "demo software" and "several software examples" are to be found on www.st.com.stm32nucleo.I went to this page an only see a small number of compiled binaries. Can someone point me to the location of the example code?ThanksFritz

Hi allI am currently trying to integrate the VL53L0X sensor to a STM32F33R8 using CubeMX and KEIL, but I haven't had the best of luck...I am inexperienced regarding the integration of sensors and I2C.I have watched countless videos integrating different I2C devices to an STM using KEIL and CubeMX.I have tried replicating Arduino library codes for this sensor, but I fail to understand what is accomplished by each function.I have downloaded the API and API user manual. I have read the datasheet for the VL53L0X which only seems to provide me with two addresses for reading and writing (0x52 and 0x53). I have managed to send an "is device ready" command that came out true. The datasheet seem to rely on the API library provided by ST, making it hard (or impossible for a newbie such as myself) to integrate otherwise.Now my issue is: after downloading the API and including all c-files and header-files provided under the API folder (core and platform) I am unable to build the project and get an

Hi, I just went over the X-Cube-SBSFU material and tried to compile the example projects to get an overall picture of this function.The MCU I used is STM32F730I8 and I am using the STM32F7308-DISCO board.As only 64kB flash is available in STM32F730 series, the external memory execution(XiP) is needed in my application.I would like to understand the feasibility to port the SBSFU package to a F7 MCU when running in XiP mode.The example package did provide the example for STM32F769I, but it only uses the internal flash.My rough idea is to put the SECoreBin and SBSFU in the internal flash and the slot 0 and 1 user app in the external NOR flash.Could anyone help to validate the feasibility?Thanks,Jay

I have just bought an STM32MP157C-DK2 and would like to get started. I found a tool within the wiki which allowed me to select a bunch of the "getting started" sections and create a PDF. However. all the pages of the PDF just said I didn't not have permission to do this, or something like that. Trawling though documentation online is a lot more painful than something I can print, read offline and annotate. Where can I obtain or create PDF documentation?

1) STM32l432kc nucleo board2) Today I decided to test my sleep mode codeI uploaded my code, I received my print messages on USART, I decided to tweak a few things... and here is the issue.When I attempt to upload again, I receive the following error:Error in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: No device found on target.I am using the STM32CubeIDE and I believe the source of my problem might be assigning an incorrect bit within one of the registers, it locked up and isn't allowing me to upload anymore.Is there a quick way to reset the board in case this type of problems arise (the push button doesn't seem to do anything)?From some research I've done, I realised that SB9 can act as a ST-Link Reset, but I'm a bit afraid to mess around with the nucleo as it's the only one I have atm.Thank you in advance for any help!

I am new to embedded programming and trying to learn ARM with my STM32L4 board. I stick to the datasheet and stay away from HAL library to learn how the MCU and its peripherals work. Here I am trying to initiate USART3 and send a line using "printf" but fail to receive anydata from my FTDI chip. Did I miss something here?#include <stdio.h> #include <stdint.h> #include "kfunction.h" #include "kstm32l4r5xx.h" /*--Define--------------------------------------------------------------------------------*/ /*--Global-Variable---------------------------------------------------------------------- */ /*--Function Prototypes-------------------------------------------------------------------*/ void initUSART3(void); void initRCC(void); void blinkBLUE(void); void initPORT(void); int putchar(int); /*--Main----------------------------------------------------------------------------------*/ int main() { initRCC(); initPORT(); initUSART3(); while(1) { blinkBLUE(); printf("this is USA

Using a STM32F0 discovery board, I have this function:void BlinkBlue(void) { for (int i=0; i<20; i++) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LD4_GPIO_Port, LD4_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_Delay(50); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(LD4_GPIO_Port, LD4_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(50); } }  and I can call it in code by using:BlinkBlue();All good.The .map file says it's location at address 0x8000a9c . But it doesn't work if I instead call it using:((void (*)(void))0x8000A9C)();Any idea why this wouldn't work? Thanks.

When you configure DFSDM faced with the problem that I can't see the status registers a custom filter, due to incorrect file STM32L4x6.svd because the register addresses according to this file do not match those described in the Datasheet and in the HAL library.On the site of ST not submitted file STM32L4x6.svd which would have been valid addresses.Does it exist and where can I get it?Datasheet DocID029173 Rev 70x4001 6000 - 0x4001 63FF DFSDM1stm32l496xx.h#define PERIPH_BASE       ((uint32_t)0x40000000U)#define APB2PERIPH_BASE     (PERIPH_BASE + 0x00010000U)#define DFSDM1_BASE      (APB2PERIPH_BASE + 0x6000U)#define DFSDM1_Filter0_BASE  (DFSDM1_BASE + 0x100)#define DFSDM1_Filter1_BASE  (DFSDM1_BASE + 0x180)#define DFSDM1_Filter2_BASE  (DFSDM1_BASE + 0x200)#define DFSDM1_Filter3_BASE  (DFSDM1_BASE + 0x280)STM32L4x6.svd<name>DFSDM0_CR1</name><displayName>DF

Hello,I'm trying to extend the example given in 'Method 2 - From other task', given here: https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205074561-Connecting-the-UI-to-your-systemI am using the 746-Disco board and the example works just fine on my hardware.My end goal is to have a task in the RTOS that can handle serial communication and send along info to the screen model (or transmit data entered on the screen).to get started I have created a new task (serial_task) and placed it in serial.c (and serial.h). Basically I have just copied the 'condenser.c/.h' file combo and renamed the functions.I have added serial.h to main.cpp and serial.c to the makefile.I can compile just fine and I can even swap the two tasks around.what I can NOT do is get them to work side by side.In my main.cpp I have this:xTaskCreate(condenser_task, (TASKCREATE_NAME_TYPE)"CondenserTask", 512, NULL, configGUI_TASK_PRIORITY+1, NULL); xTaskCreate(serial_task, (TASKCREATE_NAME_TYPE)"SerialTask", 512, NUL

I used cubemx to generate the project, using designer generate gui code. This project works well in VS, MDK and development boards.But use run simulator in designer to prompt the errors shown in the figure.Excuse me, where did this go wrong, how should revise.Thank you very much!

I have an STM32F103RB Nucleo board.I'm trying to build a very easy LED example (see details section).I expect that both LEDs (one on the bread board, one on the nucleo board) are blinking every 500 ms. But only the one on the board is working.The structure can be seen on attached figures. On a bread board I have an LED (yellow -> 2 V) and a resistance (100 ohm) in series connection. To the nucleo board there are 3 cables:- red: ground to + on bread board- black: 3.3V to - on bread board- white: D2 to resistanceI hope somebody can help me. Do you need any other information?

i want to convert .hex file or .elf file in to C or C++ code if it possible. if possible then how can i do this?

does any one know when STM32L552QC will be available in market with a marketing status Active !!
