How to configure RGB LTDC device tree, can you give an example

Does anyone know if there is there an example somewhere of usage of the method copyFBRegionToMemory()?The documentation says that the buffer can be a dynamic bitmap and I am having issues getting my code to compile.

void MainScreenView::setVacuumPositionPercentBoxClickHandler(const BoxWithBorder& b, const ClickEvent& evt) { // When target vacuum position box is clicked, display modal keypad with numericals targetPercentModalWindow.setVisible(true); targetPercentModalWindow.invalidate();   keyboard.setPosition(410, 100, 320, 240); add(keyboard);   }This is the code where I make the modal window visible and draw the keyboard.

I recently created a project for the Stm32F746G-Discovery kit in TouchGFX 4.12.3 and chose version 2.0.0. I was only able to select 24 bit color depth. When creating a new project in STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0, I was only presented with one option for the STM32F46G-Discovery kit, so I chose it. I see that it is only 16 bit color depth as seen in the BoardConfiguration.cpp file as well as with in the Stm32CubeMX > Middleware >TouchGFX section.Am I missing something, is there a way to set this up?

I have a project that compiles fine when compiling within TouchGFX 4.12.3's "Run Target". However I am attempting to compile/debug a similar project via STM32CubeIDE 1.1.0 and am running into an error that says 'USE_BPP' was not declared in this scope. I see that USE_BPP is defined in TouchGFX\config\gcc\app.mk:Is USE_BPP supported in TouchGFX 4.12.3? I assume it is since it works when not compiled in STM32CubeIDE.I was planning on using this to determine what depth to set bmp cache for dynamic bitmaps.

Hello,i have a strange situation happening and I really can't catch the reasons; in my project I set up an SPI transfer and set a global volatile variable that keeps trace of status state://Transmit Data if(spi == AMPLI_SPI4) SPI4_TransferState = TRANSFER_ONGOING; ret = HAL_SPI_Transmit_IT(&SpiHandle[spi], pData, Size); Then in my interrupt handler I want to reset SPI4_TransferState:void HAL_SPI_TxCpltCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef *hspi) { if (hspi->Instance == SPI4) { SPI4_TransferState = READY_FOR_TRANSFER; SPI_ReleaseCSPin(AMPLI_SPI4); } }TRANSFER_ONGOING and READY_FOR_TRANSFER are 2 defines that stands for 1 and 0.If i debug the code I can see that the interrupt is fired and that the instruction SPI4_TransferState = READY_FOR_TRANSFER;is executed; anyway the value of SPI4_TransferState does not change from 1 to 0, as if the instruction is doing nothing.I have done some tests if, anyway, I change the interrupt handler like this:void HAL_SPI_TxCpltCallback(SPI_HandleTypeDef

Hello,I made my own board with a ST25DV64K and a microcontroleur STM32L031K6. I would like to put in the NFC tag a NDEF message (URL/text...). For the moment, I don't use the microcontroleur. I use the Android App ST25, built by ST, to put the NDEF message into the tag. The communication between my smartphone and the tag is OK, I can read the UID, the memory, and verify that the NDEF message is written in the eeprom memory. Then, when I put my tag on my smartphone, it says that the tag is empty.I have an eval-board CLOUD-ST25TA and on this tag, everything works. I can put an URL into the memory via the ST25 Android App, and when I put the tag on the smartphone, an internet Browser opens with the URL.I think I am missing a configuration into the ST25DC64, but I don't find which one.

Hi,I requested a download access to X-CUBE-SBSFU firmware about two weeks ago but I didn't get a reply yet. Is there something else I should do ?

Posted on October 25, 2017 at 10:48The latest version of CubeMX 4.23 is still at LWIP 2.0.0However on the LWIP site they note in bold:from http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/lwip/ All users using 2.0.x are strongly suggested to upgrade! I'm particularly interested with STM32F4.Thanks #lwip

Main is entered,(for testing I enable the GPIO and turn on an LED to validate that cpu execution has entered main() --- then I set up the PLL, and GPIO - then test if the MCU has option byte set for Level 1 - if not I set it.I reset the device and it appears to be non-functioning.After reset - main() is never entered because the LED is not turned on.So - what can happen to the CPU such that after the option byte is changed (from AA 55 to 11 EE) - thereby have the MCU enter level 1 flash security that it appears to lock up?The MCU hardware has BOOT1 pin tied to ground so the boot process is supposed to boot to the user program in flash memory.I did find something in the user's manual about "Empty Check" which detects that flash at location 0x08000 0000 is 0xffff ffff - it assumes the flash is totally erased and causes the boot process to jump to the internal ST bootloader. If this WAS happening, it would present the same behavior I am having but I don't understand how the MCU would have

I am trying IAP using a new sample application for the STM32H753I-EVAL2 board. STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.5.0/Projects/STM32H743I-EVAL/Applications/IAP/IAP_MainIAP_Main would download IAP_Binary_Template image into flash memory. However, IAP_Main can transmit/upload fine but cannot receive/download via ymodem.I use the IAP code as is. For what it tries to do, I assume if it works on STM32H743I-EVAL, it should work on STM32H753I-EVAL2 board as well.Thank you.

I would like capture the CNT register and transfer it to a circular buffer on every rising/falling edge on 10 different signal lines. Is this possible and is there a reference which describes how to do this? This is on the STM32H7 series.I have read AN4539 (HRTIM cookbook). I've also looked at the STM32H745 reference manual. It's still unclear if the HRTIM peripheral supports an input capture mode similar the to general purpose timers. The CPT1DE/CPT2DE bits control the DMA request for the capture event, which would suggest the functionality exists, but I haven't found any resources on how to use this exactly. The EExSNS bits seem to control if an event happens on the rising and/or falling edges of each channel. The phrase "input capture" doesn't appear within anywhere in the HRTIM section of the reference manual, so maybe it's not possible.

Hi everyone,Would you please let me know if it possible to have TouchGFX for stm32f412G-Discovery board? If yes "HOW"?STMCubeMX has not GRAPHIC option in middleware for this board. So, is that possible to integrate it by some efforts or touchgfx is not supported in this micro-controllers?

I want to use a slider which will be on master screen and then this slider can be slided/accessed on all screens in my application. I know I can add slider on every screen but is there any way to avoid that? I want to use same slider across all the screens. And also Date name and all that is common for every screen like status bar in phones

Error - 8700 : Frame wait time out OR no tagEven though a writeis succesfull, I will at one time get this error code back (this is the answer of the SendReceive, the result of SendReceive itself is errorcode '4 ' which stands for Communication Error), and another time a succes code. I know the write is succesfull because in the next read I can read the value that was written. The problem with this is that I cannot check whether or not the write was succesfull and then try again, because this may put me in an infinite loop. What can be the cause of this?

Hi,I'm using a STM32L4R5ZI and i want to use OCTO-SPI with my own hardware. My question is, can i use the OCTO-SPI without a external flash memory to communicate from the MCU to the PC ? Up to now i tried the provided OCTO-SPI example provided by STM for the STM32LR9I.Thanks

Virtual COM port & LPUART Tx(PG7) Works fine, but LPUART Rx(PG8) is not working.Tried in both Int & polling mode, able to send and receive via Virtual COM port.Configuration:static struct MCU_UART_S testIf_UARTStruct ={   .TxMode = KISO_HAL_TRANSFER_MODE_POLLING,   .RxMode = KISO_HAL_TRANSFER_MODE_POLLING,   .Datarate = 115200U,   .huart.Instance = LPUART1,   .huart.Init.BaudRate = 115200U,   .huart.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B,   .huart.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1,   .huart.Init.Parity = UART_PARITY_NONE,   .huart.Init.Mode = UART_MODE_TX_RX,   .huart.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_NONE,   .huart.Init.OverSampling = UART_OVERSAMPLING_16,   .huart.Init.OneBitSampling = UART_ONE_BIT_SAMPLE_DISABLE,   .huart.Init.ClockPrescaler = UART_PRESCALER_DIV1,   .huart.

There's a sensor applied to the I2C as a slave. Also on this microcontroller there's a communication running on the UART-Interface in blocking mode. If the UART has to transmit a huge amount of data, it seems that the I2C (also blocking mode) can get interrupted, because the I2C Busy Flag is set and I cannot receive data via I2C anymore. Is there a possibility for the I2C to not get interrupted?Or am I doing something horribly wrong?

Hello Everybody,I was thinking about a flexible way to implement a µs or ms delay function with a free running timer as tick source. One of the biggest problems that comes to my mind is the overflow problem when the timer wraps around, so that some classical approaches, I have found on the Internet would lead to false behaviour.I have thouight of the following solution for the problem and would like some feedback from the community:I assumed using a timer with a 16-Bit counter but you could also use a 32-Bit counter./** * @brief µs delay function based on Timer15. * Maximum 65536µs delay possible. * @param ucnt µs to delay * @return none */ void delay_TIM15(uint16_t ucnt) { uint16_t start = TIM15->CNT; while((start + ucnt) > tim15_tick()); }#define tim15_tick() (TIM15->CNT)in my solution an overflow or timer wrap around would be no problem since the sum of start + ucnt is stored inside an uint16_t variable and would do the same wrap around as the counter. Or am I

Hi I am designing a PCB for sampling 4 audio channels from 4 I2S MEMs microphone and doing some audio processing on it. My MCU STM32F407 has 5 I2S peripherals and I plan to use I2S2 and I2S3 for each pair of microphones. The configuration of each I2S is below (same for both):My question is let's say I start I2S2 and I2S3 like following:// 4000 samples (24 bits over 32-bit word) uint32_t * first_buffer = malloc(4000 * sizeof(uint32_t)); uint32_t * second_buffer = malloc(4000 * sizeof(uint32_t));   // DMA transfer size is byte, hence * 4 HAL_I2S_Receive_DMA(&hi2s2, (uint16_t *) first_buffer, 4000 * 4); HAL_I2S_Receive_DMA(&hi2s3, (uint16_t *) second_buffer, 4000 * 4);Would there be a delay between the two microphone pairs? Like I2S2 starts first so first element in first_buffer is actually sampled before first element in second_buffer?If so, is there any way to synchronise between the two I2S?Thanks

Good day, everyone. I've got an issue where after creating the project with the startup CubeIDE, (which I presume is also CubeMX just running from within the IDE) It seems that I can no longer launch the MX window in order to change or add some things. Anyone has an idea why this is the case? Neither these, nor the MX button at the top right end of the window do anything.
