Hi,I've been wondering, what would be the quickest way to shift a rectangle of any size that is already on screen, and therefore in the current frambuffer one pixel column to the left, and then delete (turn white or something) the leftmost column? So far I've found the functions copyFBRegiontoMemory and BlitCopy, but that would require to load everything and then write it again to the framebuffer. Using DMA there should be another way, which doesn't involve loading everything but simply shifting.

Hi all,I am trying to configure my stm32f429i-disc1 with the lates CubeMX 5.5 and TouchGfx 4.13. I have followed the instructions from here: https://touchgfx.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360010921760-TouchGFX-HAL-Development, but my display is still all white (there should be red background with simple 'hello world' string on it).The project compiles and there is also 1s_cnt which increments properly. I've tried to debug the project and noticed that program enters inside functions: void StartScreenPresenter::activate() void StartScreenView::setupScreen()on startup but only once. Both the board and the cable are ok, because I can flash MCU with other project and then screen works fine.Have you got any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Hi,I have a problem with STM32CubeIDE 1.2.0 and TouchGFX 4.13.0.I use the STM32F746G-DISCO board. First, I created a project with TouchGFX to check if the screen works. It works well !After that, I created a project with CubeIDE. I configured the pinout manually and I was able to display an image on the board via a .h file. When I add TouchGFX Generator in "Additional Software", it creates the TouchGFX folder. I changed the .touchgfx file but the screen still black when I launch the project on the target.Could you help me please ?It is very important.

Hello Everybody,I am wondering if this is good code when using an embedded system or if I should avoid adding a LF to an unkown string like I do it here, since this could overwerite other data in the following address:void USART_transmit_message(volatile uint8_t *message) { if(!strchr(message, '\n')) strcat(message,"\n");   strncpy(USARTBufferTX, message, sizeof(USARTBufferTX));   if(huart1.gState == HAL_UART_STATE_READY) { if(HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart1, &USARTBufferTX, strlen(message))!= HAL_OK) { Error_Handler(); } }   }best regardsBenjamin

Not a question but a statement. I've just upgraded a very large project from HAL V1.3 to V 1.6. The code uses sprintf in a couple of places. This worked fine under 1.3 using newlib_nano. Under 1.6 the same statement gives a NULL return. Swapping to newlib_standard fixes the issue. It appears that the version of newlib_nano distributed under 1.6 has changed and is no longer reliable, at least for floats.

HiSo I''m trying to use the internal temperature sensor to get a rough idea of the temperature. So first I test it on the NUCLEO-F446 and get good result but when I try to use the same code on my board, I get wrong data. Good data is adc value aroud 930 (so 24°C) and wrong value is value around 860 (so 0°C)The nucleo use a STM32F446RET6 and my board a STM32F446RCT6, so basically just the flash size is different. To be sure to have a similar settings I use a 84Mhz clock generate with HSI and PLL.I tried lot of different settings (dma, polling, continuous,...) but it gave all the same resultAny idea why the internal temperature is wrong on my board ?

Hello, I am having some trouble with getting I2C to work.My code:void i2c_init(void) { /* Periph clock enable */ SysCtrl_PeripheralClockCmd(CLOCK_PERIPH_GPIO | CLOCK_PERIPH_I2C2, ENABLE);   // I2C2 pins GPIO_InitI2c2ClkPin4(); // SCL at DIO4 GPIO_InitI2c2DataPin5(); // SDA at DIO5   I2C_InitType i2c_settings; I2C_StructInit( & i2c_settings); i2c_settings.I2C_ClockSpeed = 100000; i2c_settings.I2C_OperatingMode = I2C_OperatingMode_Master;   I2C_Init(I2C2, & i2c_settings);   I2C_ClearITPendingBit(I2C2, I2C_IT_MSK);   I2C_Cmd(I2C2, ENABLE); }   int i2c_write(uint8_t addr, uint8_t reg, uint8_t * data, uint8_t len) { I2C_TransactionType t;   // Write the slave address t.Operation = I2C_Operation_Write; t.Address = addr; t.StartByte = I2C_StartByte_Disable; t.AddressType = I2C_AddressType_7Bit; t.StopCondition = I2C_StopCondition_Enable; t.Length = 1 + len;   // Flush the slave address I2C_FlushTx(I2C2); while (I2C_WaitFlu

Hi, I am attempting to receive a large amount of information via fast transfer mailbox on a ST25DV64K chip and and AndroidNFCReader using one mST25DVTag.writeMailboxMessage command, which commands the chip to send data continuously so long as it receives an Ack that the 255 bytes from one message has been read (via .readMailboxMessage). I can successfully receive the first message containing the first 255 bytes, however I am unsure how to advise the chip that the data has been read (i.e. an Ack of sorts) and to send the next block of data. At the moment the output repeats the first 255 bytes when in a while loop with a time delay (as can be seen below), so I am just wondering, if I need to receive more data would anyone be able to advise on the command to use to ensure this happens. Kind Regards,

I have code running on a few thousand units in the field and on the whole they work perfectly, however I'm seeing this problem in a few of the packs and wondered if anyone had seen it themselves or know what causes it or even better what i need to do to stop it occuring. I don't know what causes the problem but at some point the App we have designed is no longer able to access the NDEF record to read its data. When we get the units back and do a restart the problem doesn't go away. The restart process sets the both read and write passwords and enables them and the only failure in this process is that I get  0x69 0x84 ( Reference data not usable) back from the M24SR when trying to enable the read password. The phone cannot read it with the password i have given it, with a password of just 0's or no password so its like the m24sr has got itself into an unknown state. At no point during this entire process is the M24SR power cycled. the code is as follows if(M24SR_Verify( I2C_PW

The scope is showing the following code takes 602ms (I'm using the external crystal, so no jitter) this 2ms can be seen on top of any delay I set.  while (1) { HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, profilingPin_Pin, GPIO_PIN_SET); HAL_Delay(300); HAL_GPIO_WritePin(GPIOB, profilingPin_Pin, GPIO_PIN_RESET); HAL_Delay(300); }The toggle of a pin takes 70-80ns so that isn't the issue. I have used the 16MHz clockwhich still has the +2ms, and some jitter as expected.Any insights on this will be greatly appreciated!

I am trying to make the ADC and the DMA work in the STM32G431 without success. I can make the ADC work but the DMA transaction is not triggered. This is my code://****************************************************************************** void ADCInit(void) //****************************************************************************** { LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStructure; LL_ADC_InitTypeDef adcInit; LL_ADC_REG_InitTypeDef adcRegInit; // Enable clocks LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOA|LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_GPIOB); LL_AHB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB2_GRP1_PERIPH_ADC12);   // Reset any previous configuration LL_ADC_CommonDeInit(ADC12_COMMON); LL_ADC_DeInit(ADC1); // For voltage and current // Enable Power regulators LL_ADC_DisableDeepPowerDown(ADC1); LL_ADC_EnableInternalRegulator(ADC1); LL_ADC_SetCommonClock(ADC12_COMMON, LL_ADC_CLOCK_SYNC_PCLK_DIV1); Delay(100); // tADCVREG_STUP = 20us --> stabilization // Start calibration of the ADCs

I'm trying to create new image with my app, that needs qtwebkitwidgets, but have some problems with that. When bitbake starting compile qtwebkit-my host pc freezes. I read that post https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AVSWK1SQP/what-is-the-process-for-initializing-the-openembedded-build-environment-stexampleimageqt about qtwebkit, but in my case it doesn't work. My MACHINE=stm32mp1 DISTRO=openstlinux-x11. I tried bitbake with -k and I tried to launch compilation again, first compile stoped at 38%, after rebooting my host-it's 0% and freeze. Is any alternative ideas how I can install qtwebkit to use my app?

Hello,I have a problem,i wrote this program but it dosen't work.It doesn't read its rx pin.Can you help me pls ???

No matter what we try, nothing happens. For case 2, the L9945 receives the PWM.Thank you in advance. Best regads: Balázs Bámer

I'd like to know how I can resume receiving data from flow controlled UART.I use HAL, and I set USART2 into "flow control" with Cube MX code like ashuart2.Init.HwFlowCtl = UART_HWCONTROL_RTS_CTS;(115200 bps, data bit 8, stop bit 1, none parity, etc. )I start data receiving as follows,HAL_UART_Receive_DMA(&huart2, &g_recv_char, 1);and the 1 byte receiving is chained as follows.void HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(UART_HandleTypeDef *UartHandle) {  (......any processes......)  HAL_UART_Receive_DMA(&huart2, &g_recv_char, 1);}It works for a while (10 - 30min), but after it the data receiving is stopped. When I read RDR register with debugger, the value is changed and it is explicit correct data sent from external device. But "HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback" func is not called. When I manually execute "HAL_UART_Receive_DMA(&huart2, &g_recv_char, 1);" (with debugger operation), continuous data receiving is resumed. So I guess the external device is st

Hello, I am experiencing problems with using ADC together with BLE. When I comment out BTLE_StackTick() inside main loop, the ADC reads values correctly (checked over UART). But when BTLE_StackTick() is called, ADC always returns 0.6V. What is the solution?

Since quite some time I am trying to find a way for an STM32 chip to receive and send data as a slave over i2c. The master always sends the same amount of bytes and after sending these bytes, requests two bytes back from the slave. I used the CubeMX example software for i2c with succes, however this example code as found here:https://github.com/fboris/STM32Cube_FW_F4/tree/master/Projects/STM32F401-Discovery/Examples/I2C/I2C_TwoBoards_ComITThis code works and enabling a 'global i2c interrupt' and triggering an LED in this interrupt works as well. However when I try to put the code in the interrupt, the LED does not even go on. The LED is just for testing and in the end I would like to be able to receive information through i2c on an interrupt. Putting following code in the main works for one receive and one send, however i would like to replace this code to the interrupt, which does not work as is:if(HAL_I2C_Slave_Receive_DMA(&hi2c2, (uint8_t *)aRxBuffer, RXBUFFERSIZE) != HAL_OK)&nb

Hi,There is a [YouTube video provided by STMicroelectronics](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4Jji8fZU8E) titled "ST25DV-I2C NFC dual interface tag cryptography demonstration".It vaguely references an Android app and ST eval board firmware, but doesn't say exactly what they're called. I don't see any mention of a crypto example listed in any of the software packages found under "tools and software", nor in any of the source code when I download all of the available packages. When I download the ST Tag app for my phone, I don't see any option of actually communicating with an eval board in the Android app, it appears entirely focused on communicating with the ST25DV.Could someone point me to the crypto example? I'm ultimately looking for an example of the ST25DV Fast Transfer Mode (Mailbox), and establishing a secure connection.Thanks.

Hallo, are you planning to bring TouchGFX and an embedded webserver together in the future? Customers often want a GUI and a web server together on one device. Actually, everything would be available in the TouchGFX Designer to create the data structure (html pages, graphics) for an embedded web server, which shows the same GUI as on the touch display on a web browser. It would be a great option to create an embedded WebGUI from the TouchGFX Designer! Thanks!

Hi, I use stlink v2 connect my custom board. The stm32cubeprogrammer shows error message when I use SWD or JTAG mode. The stlink version is V2J33S7.No STM32 target found! And I also tested with DK2 board. Could you give me some hints about it?

I am implementing UART transmission in SPC560B50L1. Due to modest description in manual, I have some detailed questions:I set UARTCR[TDFL]=3, set TXEN and fill BDRLs registers, starting transmission. What is the exact moment when the DTF flag will be set? On which edge of which byte transmitted by UART?2. Can I access (read or write) BDRL registers before DTF flag is set? How does modification of BDRL registers affect transmission?3. Is it possible to interrupt pending transmission? Like in the middle of byte being transmitted.

Default linker script created with new SPC5Studio project (SPC560BCxxx in my case) aligns code on 16-byte boundary.This is a part of default linker script (application.ld/user.ld): .text_vle : ALIGN(16) SUBALIGN(16) { *(.text_vle) *(.text_vle.*) *(.gnu.linkonce.t_vle.*) *(.vletext) "*(.vletext.*)" "*(.ghs.linkonce.t_vle.*)" } > flash   .text : ALIGN(16) SUBALIGN(16) { *(.text) *(.text.*) *(.gnu.linkonce.t.*) } > flash   .rodata : ALIGN(16) SUBALIGN(16) { *(.glue_7t) *(.glue_7) *(.gcc*) *(.rodata) *(.rodata.*) *(.rodata1) } > flashAre there any contraindications to change alignment to 4-byte based?Since my program contains a lot of tiny functions, I waste a lot of memory space between these functions.

Good day.I have next problem:I am use devboard MBI1396-B + MBI1414-B. I need run this board with software GUI (PC).I cannot do it. I am try to load firmware ST25R3916Demo_MB1414B_v1.1.0.hex. Just demo for LCD. On program nothing happens. How to connect and visibleCan anyone explain what is a problem?
