Can anyone please send a minimum set of config parameters and digital input settings for L9945 to - switch a high-side FET on channel 1 on and off via SPI - turn a motor in one direction on bridge 1.

No matter what we try, nothing happens. For case 2, the L9945 receives the PWM.

We have found the problem. The default overcurrent detection voltage was the lowest possible, to ensure the power-on behavior won't do any harm to the circuit. The L9945 kept on shutting down any FET starting to conduct immediately. By setting the OC detect voltage to a correct value the FETs could remain switched on.
