Hello,I would like to get information about the availability of the following devices:STM32H562IGK6 UFBGA 144 package (10 × 10 mm, 0.8 mm pitch)STM32H562IGT6Could you please clarify:Are these devices currently available in stock for production volumes (~1,000 pieces)? If they are out of stock, what is the reason and what is the expected availability / product longevity? Are there any devices available now for prototyping, in quantities of about 50 pieces?Thank you for your support.Best regards,Aymen

Hi,i'm playing around with the VL53L4CX after putting it on my own pcb (yay). The user guide states that for the SPAD caliberation, NO target should be placed. The crosstalk requires a 600mm target.Do i understand correctly that the SPAD caliberation therefor is best performed outside and upwards to the sky? Or maybe in a room that is at least 6 meter long?It confuses me because i wonder how this is done in a factory where space is a premium :) Kind regards,        Ruben

Hello.  I am experimenting with securing a STM32H503 using password authentication, which will ultimately be an automated process.I created a simple password for testing and created the password hash in board_password.bin and da_password.bin(just for comparison, I also used Segger's advice and tried certutil and the resulting board_password.bin file is identical, so I'm pretty sure the password hash worked).I set the chip to PRODUCT_STATE provisioning and programmed the chip with the password using the following:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD speed=fast ap=1 mode=Hotplug  -ob PRODUCT_STATE=0x17STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD speed=fast ap=1 mode=Hotplug -w board_password.bin 0x8FFF000Both of these commands succeeded with no errorsAs recommended, I locked the OTP so I wouldn't accidentally damage it by overwriting by:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=SWD speed=fast ap=1 mode=Hotplug -ob LOCKBL=0x1Again, no errorsFinally I set PRODUCT_STATE to PROVISIONED and aga

I would like to know how I can program 2 MCUs (stm32wb55cgu6) simultaneously.Currently, I am programming the FUS and BLE binaries (firmware developed by the company). We need to double production, but I can't program via DFU because an error always occurs in one of the MCUs. Is it possible to program 2 MCUs simultaneously, or is that not possible?

Hello,Recently, I’ve been asking several questions about STM32WB55 BLE behavior, and the respected @FilipKremen  has provided me with great support. It turns out that all this time I was actually working with fake Chinese chips. I suspect that some of the strange issues I faced were due to that. So, I’ve now bought original STM32WB55RGV6 chips and replaced them in my devices. However, with exactly the same firmware (which worked fine on the fake chips), the BLE does not start at all. Here’s what I tried:Regenerated the project using CubeMX and CubeIDECreated a fresh new BLE project following this official tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKYWy7LKL68&list=PLnMKNibPkDnG9JRe2fbOOpVpWY7E4WbJ-&index=16Tested on two different custom boards — same resultOn both boards, other functions seem fine (e.g. I can toggle LEDs on button press, and I can hit the button interrupt in debug)(I flash the chips via J-Link)However, when I set a breakpoint at void APP_BLE_Init(void), th

I have an STM32L011F4P6 with an RTC.  It is running at 3.3V and 16 MHz off the internal HSI RC clock.  The RTC is driven by a +/-20ppm 32.768 KHz crystal.  It is running at room temperature (23-25C).  After calibration, I am losing several seconds per day!  What's wrong? Here's more information:I have a auto-calibration routine where it will output a 1Hz signal on PA2 and capture the rising edges using TIM2 channel 3, running at 16 MHz.  I capture the start time (1st edge), I interrupt on overflow and add 65536 to a 32bit variable, and I capture the final (33rd) edge to get the total number of 16MHz clocks in 32 seconds according to the RTC.  At the same time, I have a GPS module with a 1Hz output fed into PA10.  I set up TIM21 channel 1 identically to the TIM2 setup, to capture the total number of 16MHz clocks in 32 seconds according to the GPS.I take the two numbers and find the difference, not in PPM but in units of calibration (0.954 PPM)

In my project I've set the SPI clock to 125MHz; with a SPI prescaler value=4 all works good, when I set it to 2 the SPI stops working and ther is no clock signal.Any helps ? Thank youCarloV

I call HAL_UART_Init() with LPUART1 at 20Mbaud but when I activate assertion it fail at IS_UART_BAUDRATE().The IS_UART_BAUDRATE() is not correct for LPUART that can have a baudrate up to 53.3 Mbaud. Also for UART, the comparaison in IS_UART_BAUDRATE() should be <= instead of < like in IS_LL_USART_BAUDRATE().

Hello,I recently deployed multiple individual PyTorch models onto my STM32H7A3ZI-Q. My workflow ended up being:1. Convert from .pt -> .onnx -> .tf -> .tflite (quantized)2. Build an X-CUBE-AI project via CubeMX3. Swap models in same project using ST Edge AI Core CLI4. Writing scripts to semi-automate this flowIt works, but setting this up involved quite a few manual steps. Is this the most effective manner to approach this? Curious how others handle thisRegards,Ernest

Hi,I've a project with TouchGFX and FreeRTOS on an STM32H7RS. I was updating the library, regenerating the code from CubeMX but, I've noticed that, for some reason, the file \Appli\TouchGFX\target\generated\nema_hal.c has changed// from - #define NEMAGFX_MEM_POOL_SIZE 16128 /* NemaGFX byte pool size in byte */ // to + #define NEMAGFX_MEM_POOL_SIZE 24320 /* NemaGFX byte pool size in byte */but I can't find in the .ioc inside the CubeMX where this value is set and why it has been changedThanks

I've had problems with sd_diskio.c used for SD card I/O with FatFs.CubeMX version is 6.16.0.I'm using SDMMC with DMA, so consideration needs to be given to cache coherency and alignment.I have both these set:#define ENABLE_SD_DMA_CACHE_MAINTENANCE  1#define ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFERHowever, I've found some bugs in the code:In SD_read, the alignment check:#if defined(ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFER)if (!((uint32_t)buff & 0x3)){#endifshould have the 0x3 changed to 0x1f, as cache alignment requires 32-byte alignment, not 4-byte.There's another case of this in SD_write.Furthermore, there's a bracketing problem in SD_write with the code under ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFER conditional compilation, which is supposed to be invoked when the buffer is misaligned as an else condition for if (!((uint32_t)buff & 0x1f), but is instead an else condition for a DMA success check. This means that the scratch buffer code does not run at all when a buffer misalignment is detected. To fix it, I added a closing brace

Hello ST Community team,About the Typo, on the Table 1 of the RM0473, we have a reserved region between SRAM1 and SRAM2a (from 0x2000 3000 and 0x2002 FFFF) the size of this region is 180 Kbytes and not 36 KBytes as mentioned on the Doc.please have a look at this.

Hello,I am encountering difficulties installing the ST Edge AI v3.0.0 application. During installation, the client cannot connect to MyST, even though my credentials work correctly on the ST website.I have also configured the HTTP proxy in the installer exactly as I have for other ST products, which functioned without issue. Nevertheless, the installer repeatedly displays the following error:“Issue while connecting to MyST. Please verify username, password, or internet access.”Could you please advise on how to resolve this problem?Thank you for your assistance.Best regards,JeM

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a project using the ST B-G431B-ESC1 discovery kit to drive a 24V 250W BLDC hub motor. I'm using the SimpleFOC library for control and have added a small heatsink to the board to manage temperatures. The issue is that after running for a short period, I keep losing MOSFETs; they just randomly burn out. The motor wasn't even under heavy load when it happened, but I was trying to tune the PID, so there was some jerking. What could be causing this? Is it likely an overvoltage spike, an overcurrent issue, or something else entirely? How can I find the root cause, and is this board truly capable of driving a 250W–350W motor continuously, even with enough cooling?

In STM32CubeIDE, it is possible to view two different source files side by side by dragging editor tabs with the mouse. However, there is no keyboard shortcut or command to move the active editor to the left/right split. This slows down workflow when frequently comparing files (e.g., main.c and app.c). A command such as “Move editor to right/left split” with assignable key binding would greatly improve productivity.Best regards.

We are using 2 KNX IC on our project. One of them for communication and some LEDs other one (STKNX) just for driving LEDs not for communication. But of course is directly connected to KNX_BUS line. When we applied Surge test , TVS couldn't protect the device.I found some solutions but of course is effects other part of design.TVS is 36V bidrectional. If I choose 100R for 68R connected to pin3 R68 which is transmitter pin, everthing is fine. Passing the test. KNX timing is also good. However, Voltage on VDDHV is lower as excepted, and LEDs are flickering (blinking).1- How can i juice more power from STKNX? 2- Is this a big problem when i choose 100R instead of 68R, because we are not using STKNX as communication IC.Thanks. Cvgate 10uF, Cvddhv - 330uF

Hi,we use the STM32MP157C with almost the same RAM layout as the STM32MP157F-EV1, except that the SDRAM chips are from Micron (MT41K256M16). The PMIC is also the same as the one on the evaluation board, and the settings therefore are identical. TF-A, optee, u-boot and kernel are active. On almost all boards, we see sporadic page faults from the kernel (one in 400 warm starts), distributed across the RAM (all entries from different starts):[ 0.000000] BUG: Bad page state in process swapper pfn:d0cfc [ 0.000000] page:(ptrval) refcount:1 mapcount:0 mapping:00000000 index:0x0 pfn:0xd0cfc -- [ 8.840693] BUG: Bad page state in process tar pfn:f77ae [ 8.840730] page:769addeb refcount:1 mapcount:0 mapping:00000000 index:0x4 pfn:0xf77ae -- [ 9.664655] BUG: Bad page state in process rc pfn:f70c8 [ 9.664691] page:c59745a8 refcount:1 mapcount:0 mapping:00000000 index:0x4 pfn:0xf70c8 -- [ 0.000000] BUG: Bad page state in process swapper pfn:eace6 [ 0.000000] page:(ptrval) refcount:1 mapcount:0 mappi

Hi all,I have a board designed using the STWLC38 as the Qi Rx. An ESP32 is the host controller using I2C to configure the STWLC38. The communication works OK and I can set and read various registers.I have two questions on this configuration:The STWLC38 datasheet lists the functions of all the various registers but doesn't list the addresses for many of them. Are these available elsewhere? The STWLC38 is powered from the Qi coil so that I can only read/write when I have a successful pairing. How can I save my custom parameters to RRAM using I2C?Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,I’m using an STM32L562 MCU and outputting LSE (32.768 kHz) to MCO for measurement. In LSE crystal mode, I see a large frequency deviation on the oscilloscope (much larger than expected ppm-level error). To rule out the crystal itself, I checked the 32.768 kHz crystal and it seems OK.Then I tried LSE bypass mode (feeding an external 32.768 kHz clock into the LSE pins). In this case, the MCO output frequency error becomes very small, and the waveform/frequency looks correct. So I suspect there might be an issue with the LSE oscillator circuit (load caps, PCB layout, drive strength, leakage, etc.) when running in crystal mode.Questions:Has anyone experienced large LSE frequency error in crystal mode on STM32L562 / STM32L5 series?Any common root causes (wrong load capacitors, stray capacitance, drive level, board leakage, etc.)?Any recommended debugging steps or configuration tips (e.g., LSE drive settings, oscillator startup behavior, measurement method, etc.)?Thanks in advance!&

Hey,  I am using the STM32G0B0VET (16MHz HSE) with a virtual com port over USB. The virtual com port is working fine but as a backup I would love to be able to let the user reflash the device. I was thinking of using the DFU for this since then the user would only need a standard USB cable (consumer electronics hopefully high volume). I exposed a button that can pull BOOT O high (small reprogram button you have to push). (Normally in the field updates are not needed but I would like to have this as a backup). Now I have the following problem when I boot the device (that is flashed) when pressing the button (keeping BOOT 0 high) my PC sees the virtual COM port and not the DFU device. It is thus running the usual code and not entering the bootloader. If I erase the STM32 with the ST link I can access the DFU just fine with the boot button. Does anybody have a fix for this?  Best regard and thanks already for the help.

Hello There  I have question regarding calibration of offset and cross talk for VL53L4CD / VL53L4ED.For my application i need to config Signal Threshold, Sigma Threshold, Timing Budget etc to other than sensor's default value,  So, my question is should i do xtalk & offset calibration with sensor's default config? or i need to do  calibration with my custom config?   Regards

I have one question regarding the HAL_FLASH_Program function. I use the HAL_FLASH_Program many times during the runtime of the firmware. I use it to store log, warnings and errors in the several flash pages. When the page is full and I must write into it I erase the page, obviously.   However, at the very begining I also want to store the "reset cause" (an entry in the flash pages) of the last power cycle (switch on off). Was it a BOR, WWDOG, IWOG, PINRST, etc, etc,..? Unfortunately, I am unable to successfully use HAL_FLASH_Program with a HAL_OK. It seems as if HAL_FLASH_Program does not work at the very beginning of the firmware application... does it sound crazy? Could it be that this function needs some time to work.  /** * @brief The function's role is to save the log data into the log page/s. */ mid_error_t flash_program_loop_2(const uint8_t * data_in) { HAL_FLASH_Unlock(); /** * first we check if the next position to writ

Hello,I currently working with the STEVAL-25R3916B kit and using the ST25R3916 GUI to tune the antenna. My goal is to achieve a target amplitude of 2600 mV or higher, but the system remains around 2 V even when 5 V is selected for RF power on the reader expansion board.I’ve noticed that the amplitude displayed in the GUI is significantly lower than the target value after performing antenna tuning, and the parameter AAT_B reaches its maximum limit of 255.Here are the outputs and screen copies.-Startup TabST25R3916 Reader Board Detected..
