Hi all,I have a project for which we need as fast as possible drivers so we use as much as possible the LL drivers . Yet it seems that there was no implementation of LL for MDMA, even if it seems that all other DMA managers have theirs.Anyone knows why it is the case? And also do you know if there will be a future implementation of these drivers?ThanksSeb

In my project I have to share some info among the two cores in the STM32H755 controller but I'm not able to find some simple example about the use of IPCC. Yes, there are presentations etc, but STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.8.0 repository doesn't provide one.

Hi there, I'm trying to make a basic USB audio speaker from an STM32H7 Nucleo board. I am fairly familiar with the USB audio middleware having studied it for a few days, but am not having much luck receiving audio data. I intend to use the built-in DAC as an output, but have gone back to basics to try and find the root of this problem. I start a new CubeMX project for the STM32H7 Nucleo144 board, add in the USB_FS and audio drivers on default settings. I then change the sample rate to 48KHz and generate the project. In order to get the device to enumerate I have to add HAL_PWREx_EnableUSBVoltageDetector(); to the MX_USB_DEVICE_Init();. Once I do this, the WIndows 10 machine will see the device and allow you to select it as an audio output. I can see the  AUDIO_Init_FS, AUDIO_DeInit_FS, and AUDIO_MuteCtl_FS, functions in the device struct are being called correctly, (when plugging in / unplugging and muting / unmuting) however AUDIO_AudioCmd_FS, which should be called when audio da

Hello,I am trying to set up a FDCAN communication between two STM32G431KBT6.The Tx part seems to work perfectly but I have a problem at the level of the reception.General informations: I use CAN-FD as a standard CAN 2.0B (Extended Id) at a baud rate of 500 kbit/s. The two boards are exactly the same with the same base configuration.Here is my Initialisation CAN function generated by STM32CubeMX:/* FDCAN1 init function */ void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void) {   hfdcan1.Instance = FDCAN1; hfdcan1.Init.ClockDivider = FDCAN_CLOCK_DIV1; hfdcan1.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan1.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan1.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan1.Init.NominalPrescaler = 2; hfdcan1.Init.NominalSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg1 = 13; hfdcan1.Init.NominalTimeSeg2 = 2; hfdcan1.Init.DataPrescaler = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataSyncJumpWidth = 1; hfdcan1.Init.DataTimeSeg1 = 1;

Dear allI am trying to access my SD card using SPI, I tried the code below but I couldn't get it work.is there any official tutorial about SD card of NUCLEO-L476RG?SD CARD Info: 32GB, SDHC, FAT formathttps://github.com/eziya/STM32_SPI_SDCARD

Hi, My mcu is STM32L476RGTx and I experiencing very strange behaviors to make my cpu start. This mcu is on pcb I designed myself. My boot0 pin is shorted to GNDAnd the reset pin pulled up to VCC.I can program my chip with my st link (updated to the last version) an after each programming my chip is starting up as expected. But as soon as I tried to make it boot from cold start it won't start. I have to manually press reset button and after that, it run as expected. It append what ever i use as supply. 3V3 from programmer, 3V3 from local switching supply (LM43602)...For the moment i do not use the 8mhz quartz on board.Have you any idea I did not check yet or they're is any parameter that could prevent my mcu to run my program from flash but make it run as soon as I create a true reset event ? Maybe is it BOD ? But how could I check that ?anyway, Thanks for your help.

Hi all, I'm working on a part that has implemented something very similar to the ST-provided user bootloader for the STM8. I've tired uploading a binary using several versions of the STM flasher but none of them seem to work. Is there a script available intended to work with this bootloader?https://my.st.com/content/my_st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcu-mpu-embedded-software/stm8-embedded-software/stsw-stm8006.license=1613127056306.product=STSW-STM8006.version=2.1.0.html#overview

Hi,I'm using STM32H750B with a NOR flash (Winbond's W25128 chip). When the chip is configured as QPI mode. If polling SR1 using the auto polling function, it will throw error. But read SR directly and check the bits works.Any help? Thanks.

I am trying to acquire the amount of ticks a timer counts using a 50Hz signal (acquired from the mains using hardware). For this I use a EXTI8 interrupt where the 50Hz signal is sampled. I can see on the scope that this interrupts works perfectly (by measuring another pin where I toggle the output during the interrupt).Using a timer I read the counter every interrupt using: LL_TIM_GetCounter(TIMx). And then proceed to reset the counter using LL_TIM_SetCounter(TIMx, 0). The timer is set to 500kHz using a prescaler that is a multiply of 16 (maximizing the accuracy). However, the counter value I read every time is about 9700 ticks. Which is about 19.4ms = 51.55Hz. Which is way more than the datasheet provided accuracy of +/-0.5% of the 16MHz HSI.After that. I proceed to use the HSI TRIM register and tried to calibrate the timer using my own mains frequency which was a perfect 50Hz signal. It resulted in having to increment the default 64 in the RCC->ICSCR register with 11 (which is abo

Hello, I'm using ST-Link / V2 to program STM8S001J3 with STVP (Swim connection). When I try to program MCU, the error appears that it was not possible to connect with the device. The pins are correct and I'm using 3.3V (Pin 19 to CN3 of ST-Link).Even if there is an error, the led turns green after programming. What is strange, I also use an STBM1008A for the same purpose and it works without problems.

Why does flasch memory lose saved data after being read and written after power off?Andrzej

I am designing a typical TRIAC drive circuit, opto drive of the gate, snubber, transient protection etc. All app notes I read are saying that the load to be driven (in my case the primary side of a transformer) should be placed on the TRIAC's MT2 pin (I am using BTA26).   Is there something special about the GATE and MT1 relation that is effected by a load being driven at the MT1 pin? In fact, I prefer to have the inductive load at the MT2 pin, but the design may require that I put the load at the MT1 pin. The source voltage to be switched is L1 and Neutral (120VAC). Please advise. NOTE: This question and answer originated from a customer support case which was handled by us. Hello! I'm trying to smoothly brake a three phase brushless motor, by short circuiting the phases. At this moment an overvoltage occurs damaging the power circuit. Is this the right way to do it? Thanks

Hi,I developed a firmware for STM32L496QGI6P and all went well. After some time we produced new devices and there we discovered a problem with the ADC. The only different with the new hardware was the "date code" of the STM32L496.With date code 749 I started a ADC as:Enable ADCSet previous stored calibration valuesStart HAL_ADC_Start_DMA( ...With date code 005 I had to :Enable ADCSet previous stored calibration valuesDisable ADCStart HAL_ADC_Start_DMA( ...Has anyone or ST an explanation for this?RegardsArminSolved:It was my mistake. I  was disabling deep power down and enabling the internal regulator while ADC was enabled. That was not such a good idea.

I created a motor control programm for the STM32G030K8 with the MCDSK Software and imported it into the STM32CubeIDE. The programm compiles and works fine on my hardware. When I try to allocate some data on the last 2k Page of the Flash I get an error-Message, telling me, that the Flash overflowed. For the code please see the attached pdf-file.I have no idea, why this happens although the adress im writing to is within the adressrange of the 64k Flash-memory.When I create an extra memory-space (please see attached pdf-file), using the same code, everything works fine.Unfortunately I have not very much experience with the gcc linker yet. Can anyone tell me why one version works, while the other version leads to an error? Thanks,Andreas

Hi, I recently designed my own pcb board for STM32WB55CEUx MCU.Then, during working with my board I got some problem at APP_BLE_Init() functionand the symptoms are exactly same with thisSTM32WB55 BLE Stack trouble on new hardware: https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000B5IOp2SQG/stm32wb55-ble-stack-trouble-on-new-hardwareand thisSTM32WB : Bug in FW_WB_V1.0.0: aci_gap_set_discoverable > hci_send_req > hci_cmd_resp_wait - wait infinitely for hci_cmd_resp_release after few connection/disconnectionhttps://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X0000AYqZ6mSQF/stm32wb-bug-in-fwwbv100-acigapsetdiscoverable-hcisendreq-hcicmdrespwait-wait-infinitely-for-hcicmdresprelease-after-few-connectiondisconnectionSo, I think I should update the ble stack inside my mcu. But, I can only find the examples for the nucleoboard, which has USB bootloader mode.I only have ST-link interface in my custom board. How can I update ble stack with only stlink? or is it impossible?Every pins of STM32WB55CEUx is avail

in the STM32CubeExpansion_GNSS1_V5.1.0 pakage in the libGnss folder : nmea_parser.c and gnss_Parser.c  files are used?Evern if I comment these two files or remove whole libgnss folder , the code just builds fine.Where it is being used in the whole source code? I took the STM32F401RE example of STM32CubeExpansion_GNSS1_V5.1.0 .Br,

Hi,I was wondering if anyone have made a 'rotary-style' button, like a rotary encoder or a volume knob that can go on-screen?I suspect it would involve resolving a touch input and mapping it to some sort of circular motion or something like that. A rounded slider would also be of high interest!Any inputs would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have created a .sfc file which I successfully write to my stepper motor. I need to drive the motor in Full step mode (which I am doing at present). Stepper motor is a 1.8deg motor - so 200 steps per complete revolution.

Although the ST25R3911B_DISCO-FW (v1.2.8) includes a couple of example files (exampleRfalNfca.c and exampleRfalPoller.c), those two files don't appear to exist within the distribution, though they are mentioned within the included help files. Are those actually available anywhere?

Dear All,So, i have just implemented Uart receive as an interrupt on the stm32f401re board using the HAL library in STM32cube ide.I have failed to process characters when they are more than one.Any advise for me, i will be glad.

I am developing with stm32f469i_Discovery board. The development board is a 4-inch LCD and what I need is a 5-inch LCD.While searching for 5-inch LCDs, it found ILI9806E Control IC products.I am looking for an LCD driver for a test with a 5-inch LCD instead of a 4-inch LCD, and I have a question, so I ask someone to answer it.The development board's LCD is the MIPI interface. I saw the circuit diagram of the development board, and I understand that the control pins are connected to the HS_D0P, HS_D0N, HS_D1N, HS_CP, and HS_CN pins. But if you look at the initialization code on the development board,MX_LTDC_Init();I think the square part is not MIPI interface but I2C communication to initialize LCD Control IC...Can you tell me what your configuration is on this stm32f469i_Discovey board?
