Hi,I am following the guide lines to move some functions from flash to ITCM .1st I modified the linker file , then add itcm section parameters as extern variables in main file and after that I copied this function code after start up from flash to itcm section and finaly used section attribute to tell the linked to move this function to itcm section.Always I get a hard fault at exiting from the moved function.after some investigations I found that the called function push {lr} only when it's called on the other hand at the end of the function it pop {r4,r7,pc} and hard fault is caused at this point.If I don't move this function to itcm section it will push {r4,r7,lr} and pop {r4,r7,pc} and will not cause any fault.If I modified the stack so it pops the correct values in pc , it didn't cause hard fault.in the generated list file I found that it push {r4,r7,lr} which is not consistent with actual assembly.code is compiled from c with g3 and o0 options for debugging and optimizations.How

Hi Sir/Madam,I'm trying to compile x-cube-classb-v2-3-0 STM32G081B_Eval project in IAR 8.40.1 but it giving below linker error.Error[Lp015]: section placement failure: overcommitted content in [0x2000'0020-0x2000'0028] It is compiling fine with IAR 8.32.3 but with IAR 8.40.1 not working. STL 2.3.0 tested with IAR 8.32. I would like to know changes need to done in the STL testcase in order to work with IAR 8.40.1.Please help to resolve this error?

Hi,I am designing a PCB board and use LIS2DH12/LIS3DH to wake up the processor. I will use I2C mode (CS pin should be connected to high) and SA0 pad connected to voltage supply (vdd) to get the device address as 0011001b. I see CS is at input high impedance status and SA0 is at internal pull-up status. I found a Sparkfun example and it connected CS pin to voltage supply via a 10k resistor, as well as SA0 pin. May I connect CS pin and SDO/SA0 pin together to the VDD via a 10k resistor as shown below? Or, it would be better to connect CS pin to VDD via a 10k resistor, and directly connect SA0 pin to VDD because it has an internal pull-up resistor?Thank you very much.Best regards,Tang

Is commercial product part # supposed to match exactly with the finished goods part# in its basic part (USBLC6-2P6), would you explain the finished product code with “/J? means in this case?

would you check and explain what is different in between USBLC6-2P6 and USBLC6-2P6/J

I'm working on a project that requires USB_OTG_FS and USB_DEVICE as MSC; I've managed to hook up the SD card to the USB_DEVICE layer and the HAL_SD_ReadBlocks works fine and I can even play back music from the SD Card via the MSC interface. However the HAL_SD_WriteBlocks gives me a buffer underrun error; and the HAL_SD_WriteBlocks_DMA would work, but it corrupts files; I assume that's cuz I would have to wait a little for the transfer to complete:My question is: how would I go about doing that?The SDIO is in 4 bit Wide Bus mode and the microcontroller is an STM32F405RGThanks!

I am using TouchGFX 4.16.1 and i will be using 800x480 display. I want to use table on display. I have 5-6 Parameter and has 50 entries total. So for this i want to use table to display the data. Is there any widgets or method to display table?Here is the example

Hi All,Can anyone help me decipher exactly what is going on in this piece of code. It is meant to be a H-PWM,L-ON scheme meaning at any hall status step, the high side switch of one leg of my inverter is pulsed while the low side switch of the other leg of my inverter is just switched. This is shown in the first picture under case1,case2,...,case6Now, this would mean that I only need to enable the timer (in this case timer 1) channel that corresponds to the high side switch of one leg and the low side switch of the other leg while disabling the remaining switches. This is shown in second picture under the functions MC_Core_LL_EnableChannelsHfPwmsStep1(uint32_t *pHfTimer) etc.The main reason I needed to figure this out is that I am trying to implement other PWM schemes as shown in the third picture. But the code does not respond.Apparently, the channel enabling is meant to be done by adjusting the CCER, but based on this code it is just not rightly adjusted but it works. It is a 16bit t

Hi everybody,I use the motionFX with accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer (9X sensor fusion) but I have a problem using the magnetometer calibration.I proceed as mentioned in the documentation of motionFX library:Call MotionFX_MagCal_initCall MotionFX_MagCal_run and MotionFX_MagCal_getParams in a loop until I get MFX_MAGCALGOOD qualitySome remarks:the magnetometer is very closed of dc motors, so there is very important hard iron bias.during the calibration, I do a 360 turn back and forth, on each axis. But most of the time, the calibration status doesn't change.Sometimes, it is impossible to get a MFX_MAGCALGOOD quality, I only get MFX_MAGCALUNKNOWN.I have a few questions:how MotionFX_MagCal_init and MotionFX_MagCal_run work? After how much time and after how many samples can we expect to have good calibration results?is there any restriction on the calibration algorithm about the hard iron bias range? (I mean, does calibration work with very high hard iron bias?)is the move I do

Hello,I couldn't find anything about this in reference manual:I have configured TIM8 to generate a DMA request on update. When I set TIM8, register EGR, bit UG to force an update while both the timer and DMA are not enabled, what happens to the generated update pulse that goes to the DMAMUX and from there further to the DMA? Will it be processed or cleared when DMA is enabled?Thanks for any informationkind regardsMartin

Can I use STUSB1602 with STM32MP1?The STM32MP157C-DK2 has an STUSB1600, but it is not a PD controller, so I am reviewing the STUSB1602.STUSB1602 seems to support only STM32F0, STM32F4, STM32G, and STM32L.I'm curious to see if it is possible to port and use the STUSB1602 related driver to STM32MP1. Is there any related document?

I have attached a very simple Application to show the problem with the Cacheable Container. I have a Display with a Resolution of 480x320. The Display is naturally in Portrait mode, but we use it Landscape, so I have set in the Display configuration the Width to 320 and the Height to 480. In this configuration if the cache functionality of the CacheableContainer is enabled the whole container is just black. If I disable the cache functionality the Container shows what it should. When I now invert the Display configuration to width=480 and height=320, the Cacheable Container works.Am I missing something here ?Thanks for helping

I am only able to use 2 GPIO pins with an STM32F767ZI on a Nucleo-144 board. The issue doesn't appear to be with any specific pins, it's just that only 2 pins seem to output any voltage at all.Take this code for example:main.c#include "./headers/stm32f767xx.h" #include <stdint.h>   int main(void) { initMotor(0); initMotor(1); initMotor(2); uint32_t a = 0; while (1) { if (a >= 25000) { stepMotor(0); stepMotor(1); stepMotor(2); a = 0; } a++; } }./drivers/motor.c#include "../headers/stm32f767xx.h"   void initMotor(int step_pin) { RCC->AHB1ENR |= RCC_AHB1ENR_GPIOGEN; GPIOG->MODER |= (0b01 << (step_pin * 2)); GPIOG->OTYPER &= ~(0b1 << step_pin); GPIOG->ODR &= ~(0b1 << step_pin); }   void stepMotor(int step_pin) { GPIOG->ODR ^= (0b1 << step_pin); }Using this code, only 2 of the 3 GPIO ports give out a voltage as I would expect them to. If main.c is modified to remove any of the three motors/pins, the o

Dear TouchGFX Team,I developed a display interface from TouchGFX 4.16 generated HAL and board configuration files that uses the following:STM32L4video mode DSI LTDC interrupt sync for framebuffer swap in TouchGFXHALGFXMMU, dual frame buffer in internal RAMDMA2D for image assets from external flashIt is working very well, I have a swipe container that is smooth with no glitches. However there is an issue with the cover transitions. During the transition it does not hold the previous screen as the new one slides in, the area that should be the previous screen instead takes the GFXMMU default value.Actually, when I run the code with a breakpoint on swapFrameBuffers(), only one of the buffers has the problem, the other one works fine. So during the cover transition the screen is swapping between a correct buffer(old screen in back with new one sliding in front), and the problem buffer(GFXMMU default value in back with new one sliding in front).If I do single buffering the cover transition

Hi,I cannot figure out how to add several include path to for the simulator.I can add 1 path to the TouchGFX\simulator\gcc\Makefile as follow:project_path := $(call qs,$(abspath $(call sq,$(makefile_path)../../..))) app_path := $(call qs,$(abspath $(call sq,$(project_path)/Core/App)))   ADDITIONAL_SOURCES := ADDITIONAL_INCLUDE_PATHS := $(app_path) ADDITIONAL_LIBRARY_PATHS := ADDITIONAL_LIBRARIES := export ADDITIONAL_SOURCES ADDITIONAL_INCLUDE_PATHS ADDITIONAL_LIBRARY_PATHS ADDITIONAL_LIBRARIESNow, how do I add more path?Thanks!

Dear Community, Could you help me with component identification?If I'm not mistaken on top of component is written Z30B, please find attached. The casing is most likely SOD-106. I'm guessing it might be a Zener diode but I could be wrong.Is there any chance to get datasheet or replacement component if discontinued?Thank you in advance./Wojciech
