Now my company want to use SPC560P40, we had CW11.1 before, so i want to know how to create a new project for this MCU?Because i found in the NXP website that the CW11.1 can support MPC56XX, but when i create project, i can't find the MCU type of SPC560P40, so i raise this question.

I downloaded the license file from https://register.hightec-rt.com/st/spc5x. But the 1-year license will not be activated. What should I do?

Hello,Is there an example with CAN Ids for the debug over CAN feature of the SPC58. I am trying to find a concrete example with Ids and data to send to the SPC58 to enable debug over CAN.Thanks

I recently got an ST25DV-DISCOVERY board. I downloaded the firmware package from here. Which clearly states that it is a V1.1.2.I then installed the ST25 NFC Tap android app from the google play store (V3.7). When I tried to run the Fast Transfer mode, I get a pop-up that clearly says I need V1.2.0 minimum. I thought, well, that can't be true. Because the website doesn't have V1.2. So I click continue. Then it takes me to an interface that doesn't resemble what I see in the "UM2062-User manual-Firmware for the ST25DV-DISCOVERY boards".I thought, ok, the app has been updated. Then I put my phone on the tag and it says,"Can't read board name and version. Update to the latest firmware" and the example fails.I mean, what's the deal here? It's clear that the firmware that is available on st.com is still for the previous version of the android app but the google play store has the latest version app that requires latest firmware, which cannot be found anywhere.:|

I have setup ADC1 on an STM32G4 in scan mode where the start of conversions is initiated by a timer. I have also setup the DMA in circular mode and configured it such that the ADC results are transferred to an array every time the scan conversion completes. The code generated by CubeMX calls the MX_ADC1_Init() before MX_DMA_Init(). In this order, the DMA doesn't update my array values. However, when I change the order of initialization so that MX_DMA_Init() is called beore MX_ADC1_Init(), everything seems to work fine. I looked in the code briefly, but couldn't figure out why the order of initialization matters. It is also problematic because I have to manually change the order of initialization every time I regenerate code using CubeMX.

Hello,We are planning on replacing the F042 (TSSOP20) with the G0 cited in the question. At the moment the F042 use a HSE crystal of 8MHz in order to get a precise enough clock for the CAN peripheral.Parsing the datasheet of the G0B1KB, there is no way to use a high speed crystal anymore, it has only the ability of CLOCK_IN, no CLOCK_OUT.Since using a LSE is OK, I tried to see if the HSI could be trimmed with the LSE (nice feature of the L4 family), but no, it is not possible. My question is: is it possible to use the FDCAN peripheral (in standard CAN 2.0B) mode with the G0B1KB and the HSI ? Is it precise enough ?Best regards.

Hi,I am working with SPC58xx, SPC5Stuido 6.0, Windows 10 and I am trying to deploy the code onto the board with UDE 5.0.Although I've read all the topics about these issues I still can't connect to target. The drivers have been installed properly and the Load VCA settings are enabled. What else can I do to make it work?Thank you!

I have an application developed using touchGfx 4.13 where we are using a double buffer and it works fine. I have now migrated to touchGfx 4.17 but it seems like the double buffer is not working as expected. When I change from a longer text to a shorter text in a text area (change text from ‘Medium’ to ‘Low’ and resizeToCurrentText and move to center of the display) the longer text that is outside of the shorter text area is flickering in the screen (resulting MLowm, where M and m is flickering). It seems like the longer text that is outside of the shorter text area is not removed from the one frame buffer. In this particular example the error can be solved by keeping the text area size fixed and invalidate the whole text area but the same problem will probably come back in another error later on. Any ideas what can be the problem with my implementation? I'am using a custom board with an STM32F7.

I'm using STM32CubeMX Version 6.2.1 with ARM-KEIL uVision V5.34.0.0 and C Compiler V5.06 Update without any problem. When STM32CubeMX Version 6.3.0 and ARM-KEIL uVision V5.35 or later still compiler does not give any error ,but code is not working on STM32F746 Board(Nucleo-144)

Hi im using lis2dw12tr sensor with I2C protocol in my app and i configured sensor in powerdown CTRL1 register i writed 0x00.But i see that on the board on which sensor is placed has current consumption around 370uA. On the board with unmounted sensor current consumption is 2.5 uA. Code on both board is the same.I also tried to configure in CTRL2 register CS_PU_DISC to "1" (default is "0"). I have external pull-up resistors on SDA and SCL lines (10k). Schematic is used from sensors datasheet (Figure 6. LISDW12 electrical connections).Do I must also to change some values in register CTLR3 (PP_OD, LIR, H_LACTIVE) from "0" to "1"?Is it verification board for the LIS2DW12TR this board STEVAL-MKI179V1?

Hi...Good day!I am evaluating ST25R3916-DISCO board, particularly RSSI related measurements. The DISCO board itself displays RSSI measurement as show in the image below. However using the "ST25R3916 Discovery GUI.ver1.2",although antenna output can be measurement as shown below...I cannot find RSSI measurement.Q1 - Is RSSI measurement not included in the "ST25R3916 Discovery GUI.ver1.2 PC App?Q2 - Could someone provide me the source code of the "ST25R3916 Discovery GUI.ver1.2 PC App?Hoping for someone's support.Regards,

Hi everyone,I designed my own board for the St25ru3993. Now I am trying to ramp up the RF Field. But before I can do that i need to check if the PLL is locked and the oscilator signal is stable. So i read the AGC and internal status display register. In my case the osc_ok bit and the pll_ok bit are not set, but the rf_ok bit is set. How is that possible? rf_ok bit should be set when field ramp up is done. What could be the reason for the osc_ok bit not being set? And how to lock the pll? Thanks in advance

I want to use part of the SRAM3 shared memory for data transfer between the A7 cores and the M4 core. On the A7 core I used mmap on /dev/mem to remap the sram to user space and copy the data to/from the SRAM3 buffers. The result is however not stable.When reading the data at the M4 side the data sometimes seems to be changed.On the M4 side I did add an extra memory area (RAM3_ipc_shm):MEMORY{ RETRAM_interrupts (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x00000000, LENGTH = 0x00000298 FLASH_text (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 128K RAM1_data (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10020000, LENGTH = 128K RAM2_ipc_shm (xrw) : ORIGIN = 0x10040000, LENGTH = 0x00008000 RAM3_ipc_shm   (xrw)  : ORIGIN = 0x10048000, LENGTH = 0x00004000}And just read /write to this area like: volatile uint16_t *data_in = 0x10048000; volatile uint16_t *data_out = 0x1004A000;nof_write_bits = 16 * data_in[0];// set output datafor (int i = 0; .....{ // DO0-DO3 & clear data clock & clear la

Hi :)I know ST25RU3993 use PIE encoding when it transmits data.In EPC Gen-2 protocol, PW (pulse width, in attached image) used in PIE has a value:MAX(0.265Tari, 2 μs)<=PW<=0.525TariI want to know what range of PW ST25RU3993-HPEV can use.Thank you.

I am referring to the 2:1 balun T6 (BD0810J50100AHF) that transforms the incoming tag response to a 100 differential signal that is fed into ST25RU3993 receiver section at pins MIX_INP (pin 4) & MIX_INN (pin 6).Based on the datasheet of the balun, it is a 50/100Ohm conversion, with < 1 dB Insertion Loss and phase difference of 1deg. Currently this balun is out of stock from major distributors. As a result, I am currently looking for alternative balun to replace the chip. There are several with the same form factors, but the phase difference is not around 1deg. One particular example is B0310J50100AHF that has phase difference of 38 deg.Hence, may I check if the phase difference affects the tag reading function of the RFID reader? In other words, whether the introduction of the phase difference at the 2 received signals MIX_INP and MIX_INN affects the tag reading responsiveness?Thank you very much for your kind support.Best regards,Ngo Tung

Dear ST engineers,To my understanding, the use of the power detector component is to help the MCU determine the actual power output from the reader (before entering the antenna). May I kindly check with you the reason behind the selection of the model MAX4003EUA+T ? Based on its datasheet (https://datasheets.maximintegrated.com/en/ds/MAX4003.pdf), under the Absolute Maximum Ratings session, the max RF input power to the chip is 6 dBm.The RFID reader, when using the external amplifier, is capable of reaching 30 dBm of RF power. In this case, after using the 20-dB coupler, the input power into the detector chip will still be around 10 dBm. Taking into account loss, the power might be around 7-8 dBm, which is still higher than the 6 dBm maximum rating. It would be great if you can help to share with me your testing experiences with this module, if there is any issue, as I am currently in the process of designing my own RFID reader based on ST eval board.Thank you very much for your ki

Hello, I got board STEVAL - SPIN3202 and i want to use it with BLDC motor. how i will get getting started with it? i even not found any example. can anyone direct me to that? Thanks.

Hey, I'm currently trying to get myself away from HAL, insteed using a more direct implementation. So the first thing I am trying is a simple blinky programm, with as little as possible number of files. I downloaded the StdPeripherel Files for my board (STM32F103RB-Nucleo), but I cannot locate the startup_stm32F1xx.s file. So my question is, do you actually need it?And if yes, where do I get it from?

Hi,I want to set a publish address in node-1 in BLE mesh without using the mobile app. This address can be either unicast address of other node or group address. Node-2 should be able to receive messages from this node without setting its subscribe address. In the node-1, I have tried using :AppliConfigClient_SelfPublicationSet -> ConfigClient_PublicationSet -> ConfigModel_SelfPublishConfigHere, publish address (unicast address of node-2) is successfully set (checked the return value of the APIs) but publication error occurs on the sw1 press and the node-2 does not receive any message.I don't want any mobile app intervention after provisioning the nodes.Which API can be used for my use case ? What am I doing wrong ?Can I get 'configuration server' code files ? If yes, then how ?Kindly help me out.

Hello,I am struggling with getting a display connected to FMC bus up and running. The problem is that the display remains black all the time.I have followed the TouchGFX documentation, and implemented code according to TouchGFX AL Development. I used the scenario "FMC and SPI display Interface" and implemented the code described in that chapter.I use STM32CubeMx for setup the hardware and generate code (for IAR EWB). Then TouchGFX Designer for generating graphics. Then remade code in STM32CubeMx, and then using IAR EWB to implement the rest. I have enabled FreeRTOS in STM32CubeMx, and the MX_TouchGFX_Process() is running in a task.I have made setup code for the display (Winstar 2.4" 320x240 with ILI9341 driver). The setup code is tested, and I can send and recieve data to/from display.Vsync (FMARK) is working and updating semaphore for touchgfx vsync (OSWrappers::signalVSync();).I can see that tick() for touchGFX is updating constantly. But display is constantly black.I have made a simpl

Could you provide source code of ST25R3916 Discovery graphical user interface Part Number STSW-ST25R010 v1.1.0 (ST25R3916_Discovery_GUI_v1_1_0.exe) ?It will be very useful in order to add specific treatment / tests ...

Hi Guys,I am in the mist of changing my linker file as I just recently found out that my DMA buffers are located in 0x2001FF0C region which is the DTCM (DMA can't access this region). I have tried changing the "RAM" to "RAM_D2" that didn't do anything. The only way I got it to change was change the DMA buffer to a static then change the linker, however I dont want it to be static. I also notice when I change any of the linker .bss or .data anytime I try to insert a new() into an array it hardfaults now.
