Hi everyone,I'm working on STM32f407VG discovery board on linux 20.04 host machine. I've written my own bootloader code starting at address 0x08000000. But when I'm trying to upload my firmware using STM32Cube Programmer its giving me error saying, database can not be found. When I went to that directory all database files are starting from 0x400.xmlI've included screenshot of error can somebody explain why it is coming?

Hi ST team,We are doing reliability calculations for our product so, we need data for STM32L451RET6.Can you please share this data? Thanks,Hitesh

Here is the datasheet :TS881 - Rail-to-rail 0.9V nanopower, push-pull single comparator - STMicroelectronicsDoes it mean I can use it in single power supply with VS- connected to GND?

Hi, I'm a little confused about the data that is returned by VL53L3CX sensor. Here's a video illustrating the data.I would expect the histogram to be a time-series of the return pulses, with position on the x-axis representing their arrival times (directly mapping to distance), but instead its a single pulse with a fixed position and only the intensity of it changes. Am I thinking about this data wrong?

I want to implement a single functions that continuously controls two or more output peripheral all at once. Which is a proper way to achieve that?I'm working on G030C6 MCU.I have written a program that takes input from multiple sensors and based on the input (true/false) give output to other peripherals. Input is taken from polling therefore all the functions are written in main while loop.I've read that above requirement can be achieved using RTOS but not sure if I can integrate RTOS scheduler with main while loop so that other functions are also executed.I'm new to embedded programming and STM. Please Help. Thank you.

Hello,During my exploration of the F401RE board, I tried to make the uart_printf example work correctly.Capturing the output of the main MCU via CN3-RX pin to a PicoScope 5440, an CH340 and on board F103 USB interface MCU all lead to the same conclusion: the output of the main F401RE MCU on UART2 is not correctly formatted when using ODD parity. When I use parity none or change to 9 data bits instead of 8 data bits (only change the MCU settings, the capturing settings remain at 8 bits), all seems to work OK.Documented case with detailed data in attachment.Any help most appreciated.Johi.

Hi there, I have a STM32f030c8t6 and I want to run emWin on it. in documents it is said that minimum requirements for emWin is as followsRAM: 100 BytesStack: 600 BytesROM: 10-25 KBytesand based on datasheet stm32f030c8t6 has following characteristics:16 to 64 Kbytes of Flash memory4 to 8 Kbytes of SRAM so I assume I can run emWin on it. but when I write GUI_Init(); I get following errorError: L6406E: No space in execution regions with .ANY selector why is that?

Thanks for all the support, see you after holidays.:evergreen_tree: :snowman_without_snow: cheesy caption

The microcontroller will be doing little else besides some very light processing on the audio data. The I2S source has a single MCK, SCK, WS, and 4 stereo outputs (3 of which will be used), and the I2S source can ONLY function as a master device, leaving me to use the STM32 as a slave. I see that there is a CKIN pin for I2S labelled as I2S2_CKIN. Looking at the clock routing diagram in the datasheet, it looks like that can be routed to the I2SPLL before being distributed back to I2S peripherals (1,4,5 as well as 2,3). I'll likely provide that as an option in hardware so that I can choose between the external I2S clock input or using the HSI/HSE clock. My question lies in the fact that all of the I2S data channels share WS and SCLK signals. Do I need to buffer/split these signals to go to each peripheral instance, or is there a way that they can be synced between peripherals in firmware? I don't see the mechanism to do it right off the bat in firmware, but looking for someone who may ha

Device - STM32H7B3I-DKBase Project : 2_Images_ExtFlashObjective:Load SFB from external flash, decrypt and store in Internal flash eventually launch SFB from internal flash.Setup:1) Firmware binary for our project may be greater than 1 MB, SFB would be stored into external flash of STM32H7B3I-DK which is received over WIFI.2) Option is we can directly run from external flash however it will be slow. Can someone guide what would be good approach to follow considering above constrains.Started with reducing the size of fimrware image and placing it in internal flash. Mates,   I am new in the environment of STM32. Now, I have a problem with a DSP application.   I'd like to use FFT functions on STM32WL55 board. However, when I try to use CMSIS built-in functions, the project can not be built, it gives VFP errors.   I am using STM32CubeIDE, I could not enable FPU in MCU Settings. And, "Floating-point ABI" is set as "soft". However, I still get VFP errors. Here below, you can see the output of the console. c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.6.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: error: C:\Users\unalf\Documents\STM32CubeIDE\Ptest1\ptest1\Drivers\CMSIS\Lib\GCC\libarm_cortexM4lf_math.a(arm_cfft_radix4_q15.o) uses VFP register arguments, ptest1.elf does not c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.6.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.9-2020-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: faile

I build a new application with a custom GATT and would like to use the UART debug features that can be seen in the examples. I configured my IOC as follows and verifid the UART is working with the following code: char msg[] = "Begin1\n"; HAL_UART_Transmit_DMA(&huart1, msg, sizeof(msg));However no debug messages are getting printed properly.. I have attached a screenshot and my complete example project. Working with the STM32WB5M-DK

Hi everyone,I need to monitor the amount of 2 variables in the 2 STm32 Nucleo board.I could do that but I have 2 problems. the sampling of each probe is not regular. Cube monitor makes it for example in the time 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, .. ms. I need to monitor data every 2 or 3 ms and regular. 2.The sampling times of prob1 and probe2 are not same. Hier for Example it has done it for blue one in 3.689s and for other one in 3.691s.Could you please help ?

Using TouchGFX with FreeRTOS I got very strange screen flickering issue. For me it looks like broken LTDC buffer addresses, but I have no idea how it could happen.https://youtu.be/sbEkdzT7yIcScreen is updated few times every second. And the thing what I can't understand is that code breaking screen has absolutely nothing related to LTDC or TouchGFX. For example, I can repair video by disabling one of the FreeRTOS tasks. Or comment out a function that does only some memory buffers initialization and moreover this function is not called for first 10 minutes of firmware uptime. But as soon as I uncomment this function call my screen become crazy. So it is more like kind of static memory issue.Tasks stacks are placed in separate MCU memory region and all tasks have free stack space.

Hi there, I am trying to decrease the RPMSG buffer size from 512 to 256 bytes. I have successfully managed to increase the buffer size in the past to 1024 and allocate more memory for 32VRINGS. When attempting to decrease the buffer size to lower than 512 in the linux side Cube IDE will prompt "Failed to insert all hardware breakpoints...". I am really curious on how openamp_conf relates to hardware breakpoints. The configuration for both sides as follows:Linux Sidevirtio_rpmsg_bus.c :#define MAX_RPMSG_NUM_BUFS (256) #define MAX_RPMSG_BUF_SIZE (256)stm32mp15xx-dkx.dtsi:vdev0vring0: vdev0vring0@10040000 { compatible = "shared-dma-pool"; reg = <0x10040000 0x0800>; no-map; };   vdev0vring1: vdev0vring1@10040800 { compatible = "shared-dma-pool"; reg = <0x10040800 0x0800>; no-map; };   vdev0buffer: vdev0buffer@10041000 { compatible = "shared-dma-pool"; reg = <0x10041000 0x10000>; no-map; };M4 SideSTM32MP157CACX_RAM.ldMEMORY

Hello,I am working on a project for DMA transfer of data from multiple channels of AD in the STM32H745. Cannot get A/D data. I am having a problem with itSince the STM32H745 does not have an ADC DMA project, the STM32H743 project is being ported to the STM32H745I am checking the MPU settings. The usage of the MPU_InitStruct.SubRegionDisable setting is not understoodThe setting is 0x87, what does this mean? The project that I refer toSTM32CubeH7\Projects\NUCLEO-H743ZI\Examples\ADC\ADC_DMA_Transfer\SrcBest regards

I used STM32H730IB but I cannot config the OTFDEC."Warning: This peripheral has no parameters to be configured." when I activated the OTFDEC.
