I would like to test USB on an STM32L476 Nucleo-64 development board. I use STM32CubeMX version 6.2.1 and the library it's using is "STM32CubeL4 Firmware Package V1.17.0 / 11-February-2021". I select Nucleo-64 in Board Selector in STM32CubeMX and then simply enable Connectivity->USB_OTG_FS and Middleware->USB-DEVICE and choose "Class For FS IP": Communication Device Class (Virtual Port Com)" and generate the code, compile it and then upload it to the microcontroller. When I execute the code, it says "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" in the Device Manager (on Windows 10). I have googled quite a bit and tried a lot of things (limit the packet size, increase stack & heap size, disabling other peripherals on the board, etc), but to no avail. I have confirmed that I get OTG_FS_IRQHandler interrupts when I plug in the USB-cable. When I probe the data wires on my oscilloscope, I see clean signals, but to my surprise the "smallest bits" are 667 ns wide, meaning

Looking at the clock in the MX Device Configuration Tool it says 204 to APB1 Timer Clocks (MHz).To get to 10000 Hz I have to divide 204 MHz by 20400. Fortunately there are a bunch of ways to do this. But on the first try I tried Prescaler 51Counter Period 100Internal Clock Division Division by 4The reason I did it this way is that I suspected 10000 Hz will be too fast and they will eventually go to 1000 Hz or something between 1000 Hz and 10000 Hz and it would be easy to change the counter period for the new value. I saved it and generated new code. static void MX_TIM14_Init(void) {   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM14_Init 0 */   /* USER CODE END TIM14_Init 0 */   TIM_OC_InitTypeDef sConfigOC = {0};   /* USER CODE BEGIN TIM14_Init 1 */   /* USER CODE END TIM14_Init 1 */ htim14.Instance = TIM14; htim14.Init.Prescaler = 51; htim14.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; htim14.Init.Period = 100; htim14.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV4; htim14.Init.Aut

I've been working on some code to control a 4-wire touchscreen on DisplayTech's DT028BTFT-TS using timers to de-bounce the respective touch screen wires. The code works on the Nucleo-F413ZH under debug and standalone. The coordinates of the positioned touched are calculated using the microcontroller's ADC with the coordinates being displayed on the LCD. However, when using the code on the PCBA on which it will be used it gives 4095 for both the x and y coordinates of any touched position. I've gone through with a debug (the ST-LINK/V2 in-circuit debugger) and can see the value has been returned by 'HAL_ADC_GetValue(...)' as 4095.I've:- checked the tracking on the PCBA and am happy with that;- increased the timeout for 'HAL_ADC_PollForConversion(...)' from 10 to 100 but still get 4095 for both coordinates.Does anyone have any suggestions what might be the cause or what I can look at, please? I did have a further issue with HAL_Delay but solved that by setting the all the NVIC 'Preem

I have tried it and it works but I wanted to see if there are any limitations. The boards are identical the only difference is the MPU.

Hi,we are using the ECMF02-2AMX6 in our USB 2.0 lanes. The traces on our board are quite short. However, the measured eye diagram of USB 2.0 was not good. The eye is very close to the limit especially at the rising part. Now I saw that in the datasheet of the ECMF02-2AMX6 the eye diagram looks quite similar to ours. Would you confirm that the filter is likely the cause? If yes, are there any recommendations how to avoid this or get better signal integrity? Any filter type that has better signal integrity?Regards,Carmen

Dear all,For an IoT project I would like to run the demo of the AWS package provided by ST but for some reason I could not manage to debug the demo project. To do so I have downloaded the X-CUBE-AWS_v2.0.0 package and used the following ressources : ST starting guideAmazon first steps documentation AWSxSTM32 workshop Before trying to run in debug mode the project I did the following steps : created a thing on AWScreated a certificate/private key on AWSprovisionned the certificate and private key to aws_clientcredential_keys.h (I don't want to use the ST-SAFE here)provided connection information into aws_clientcredential.hThen prepared the SBSFU :Built the project B-L4S5I-IOT01_2_Images_SECoreBin. Built the project B-L4S5I-IOT01_2_Images_SBSFUThen prepare the demo project : I merge the demo project with the AWSxSTM32 workshop sensor example to get the sensor streaming of the proto board to AWS.I build the demo project. I had to apply the following fix provided by @Jocelyn RICARD Us

I read AN2606 but i couldn't understand exactly. My understood is that if i connect boot0 pin to ground, main flash memory is gonna be selected. My question is if i do it(connecting boot0 pin to ground), will i lose the ability which enable me to program mcu via usb port?.

You mean, "editing" - surely ?

Hi,I am using STM32F107VCT6 MCU and i need to measure voltage at GPIO PB11.But there is no any ADC channel connected to this GPIO but i see that this GPIO cab be used as ADC1_EXTI11/ADC2_EXTI11.So with this Alternate function of GPIO can we measure voltage at this GPIO?If any one know then please share the sample code for this.Any help in this will be appreciated more. Thanks,Bhavin Maru

Dear support,When debugging code in Attolic TRUEStudio I am facing a fantom breakpoint phenomena. Sometimes I see this report from ConsoleTemporary breakpoint   1, main () at ..\src\main.c:71   71 int ret = 0;   No breakpoint number 2.It's a showstopper.Sometimes that breakpoint disappears without my intervention. I see another post here also unresolved. Is there some advice about what to do in such cases?Thank you

I have an STM32L476 Nucleo-64 development board and I wish to do USB-development (simple Virtual Com Port) completely unrelated to the USB-connector that the ST-LINK Utility communicates via. I understand I need to connect ground, USB_OTG_FS_DP (PA12, pin 45), USB_OTG_FS_DM (PA11, pin 44) and VDDUSB (pin 48). I'm unable to find VDDUSB on any of the connectors. Do I need to do "PCB-surgery" (unsolder the pin, lift it and solder a wire to it) or is VDDUSB accessible in a more convenient way? Does anybody know where I can find the complete schematics pdf-file (not just the connectors or Gerber files) for this development board?

I created my project in TouchGfx 4.15.0. Currently I'm using TouchGfx 4.18.1. After flashing/debugging ; color of the text which I've given in TouchGfx is getting corrupted. For ex : If I set red(235 ,64 ,61) color to some text, after debugging it becomes a color close to blue. But if the text color is white, it's not getting corrupted. Someone please provide a solution for this matter.

How do I design a custom gui(graphical user interface) for the ST25R3916-EMVCo(STM32L476VG MCU) board to show on the LCD display?Do you have any recommended design tools?

I have an issue with TouchGFX on H750B-DK board. After I create a sample project in TouchGFX and import it into CubeIDE, I can then flash it to my board with no issues. But the project generated by TouchGFX is very messy (everything put into main.c), so I would like to check the below option in CubeMX:But with this option enabled the project suddenly stops working (TouchGFX task doesn't enter the infinite for loop). Also, after I uncheck it and flash it again, it still doesn't work, which is interesting because in this state the project should be the same as at the beginning, which worked.I debugged it and found out that the function backPorchExited() never returns. I can go as far as HAL::endFrame() in TouchGFXGeneratedHAL.cpp, but when I step into this function the debugger hangs (enters a state as if I pressed run with no breakpoints). When I pause it, I find myself in portTASK_FUNCTION() in tasks.c, running vApplicationIdleHook() perpetually. Concurrently the second task, which is c

In the AN5566 RF certification process for NUCLEO-WL55JC, chapter 1.3 talk about ETSI 300-200: Short Range Devices (SRD) operating in the frequency range 25 MHz to 1000 MHz.But there is no ETSI 300-200, the correct is ETSI EN 300 220.

Hi,I am student and we are using this Mikroe WiFi8 Click Board for one of our faculty projects. We are using STM32 Cube IDE, and we are using Clicker 2 for STM32 Development Board. I am trying to find suitable driver for this board. I only found Mikroe example for mikroC and I adapted it for STM32 Cube, but it is not working. I almost copied everything from that example, just changed some specific functions (SPI initialization), and device do not want to initialize. Does anyone have similar problem? Does anyone have any detailed user manual for ATWINC3400-MR210CA and some more info on how to communicate with this chip?Clicker 2 for STM32 Development Board uses STM32F407VGT6 MCU

Hello, I am trying to get my I2C code Master working. I don't have the slave device connected and I am trying to see the output on a logic analyzer. I have connected the SCL and SDA pins to breadboard to a 2k pull up of 3.3V and the board is running at 3.3V. For some reason I cannot see the SCL toggling. It goes low and it stays low throughout the entire data address transmission period. Typically the scl and sda should have the address data and a NACK as there is no slave, but in this case the SCL is not toggling. Any suggestion how I can fix it? Thank you

In the definition of TIM16_OR_TI1_RMP_Pos in stm32f301x8.h, it's defined as being equal to 6.However, the reference manual (RM0366), Rev 4, p562, suggest that it should be zero.
