Hi everyone,I am developing a simple scanner using the BLUENRG-M0 from ST. I have a custom board wtih an MSP430F5255I just want to make multiple scan to discover other device of interest around.I am following the ACI API from ST and my first scan is successful. However, I cannot make a second scan. When I call twice the aci_discover function, an error occurred. So if someone has done it before on a projet or has an idea to how achieve this, I would be thankfully.Best regards,Guillaume Bara
Dear Team, I have Bluenrg-2 devlopment kit and STSW-BLUETILE-DK 1.3.0 SDK. I am using Keil-ARM, compiler V6.19. now I have runed sample project BLE_SensorDemo and others sample projects also getting error:../../../../../Library/SDK_Eval_BlueNRG1/src/SDK_EVAL_Com.c(441): error: 'sys/stat.h' file not found

Hi Team,I am using stm32l475vg MCU and board is B-L475EIOT01.If I create sensor demo project with BlueNRG-1 then it is working properly but If I create same project same configuration with BlueNRG-2 then it is not working. It is stuck in here for BlueNRG-2.BlueNRG-2 configuration I made like this.SPI configuration NVIC configuration Could you guys please check it. Where is the problem? Also attached ioc file. Please reply If I done something wrong. Thanks Kaushal Panchal.
Hello everyone,I would like to inquire that in the BlueNRG-1 datasheet, the description of the optimum differential load is 25.4+j20.8. My question is that this parameter value represents RF_ P and RF_ N both pins impedances are 25.4+j20.8, or it means that 25.4+j20.8 is the impedance of between two pins of this IC? Hope someone can help answer this question. thanks! The original description of the datasheet is as follows:?ZLOAD Optimum differential load @2440 MHz 25.4+j20.8 Ω】
I'm using : the X-Nucleo-bnrg2A1A nucleo L476RGand I already tried to Flash my bluetooth with the examples on the firmware ST BLUENRG DK, especially the DTM. And tried the BLE_chat but I can't see the bluetooth in my phone using BLE Scanner.
#BlueNRG #STM32WB #BLE #[BLE Mesh] #[STM32 MCUs] #STM32F1 I'm interfacing bluenrg-2m When I reset the reset pin, the bluenrg-2m set the boot pin to high, and this correspond to the external interrupt of mcu and this work successfully. The external interrupt isr, reset the chip select pin and then start to receive over spi the first packet and set the chip select high again. and this work. All this done smoothly, but then the mcu try to reset the chip select pin of spi to send data to bluenrg it doen't respond on it's boot pin (must set it high), however it worked at first time in same code context, what is the problem?I'm always stuck at the same point: performing an hci_reset(); returns me a BLE_STATUS_TIMEOUT on the SPI send command because when doing a CS reset the IRQ pin never gets ready. Please notice that there is hardware bug with uart pins.```/* CS reset */ HAL_GPIO_WritePin(HCI_TL_SPI_CS_PORT, HCI_TL_SPI_CS_PIN, GPIO_PIN_RESET); /* * Wa
Hello,I am working on a BLE project and I have a prolem of advertising table.- when I try to fill the advertisement table and I want to add more information, I don't see all the advertisements on the application, and I see the arbitrary information, so the question is if there is a size limit for this table? uint8_t manuf_data[29] = { 2,0x01,0x06,3,0x02,0xE0,0xFF, 2,0x0A,0x00, /* 0 dBm */ // Transmission Power 4,0x09,SENSOR_DEMO_NAME, // Complete Name//7,0x16,0x00,0xB0,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00, 13,0xFF,0x01, /* SKD version */ 0x80, 0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00, bdaddr[5], /* BLE MAC start -MSB first- */ bdaddr[4], bdaddr[3], bdaddr[2], bdaddr[1],bdaddr[0] };and when I try to put a very big name (#define SENSOR_DEMO_NAME 'b','l','u','e','n','r','g'......), the program doesn't reach the next line : /* Update device name */ ret = aci_gatt_updat
I'm trying to use X-NUCLEO-IDB05A2 on an Nucleo64 STM32L476 board. I want is to initialize the IDB05A2 and pair it with smartphone(s) to detect if any of these paired phone(s) is in range or not (so the phone(s) should acts as paired beacon(s) / there is no need for a specific application to run). I also tried to use some of the ST demo applications, but this didn't resolve the issue or new problems popped up: the documentation lacks info required to find a solution. If docs "refer to the bluetooth specification" that violates the ST statement one can start developing BLE applications without deeper knowledge of the BLE spec.I use Cube IDE Version: 1.12.1 Build: 16088_20230420_1057 (UTC). BLE is configured as below. The BlueNRG init stalls similar to https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000NyCfHSAV/bluenrgm2sp-device-gets-stuck-at-hcitllowlevelisr-function. But the SPI bus is not locked at that time (so the solution to delay the ISR has no effect). The SPI bus is configured as me
Greetings, fellow community members,I am currently utilizing the X-NUCLEO-IDB05A2 board and have configured the Bluetooth module using the BlueNRG GUI.The module establishes a successful connection with an Android phone without any issues. However, when attempting to connect it to a Windows 11 PC, the connection gets disconnected within a few seconds.I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this problem.
Hii everyone,i am working with a 2.8 inch spi display, using ili9341 display driver, adn it is having xt2046 touch driver on it.Can anyone please guide me for the right and stable library available for using xt2046..i am unable to find any
I'm using I2C to communicate from a master I2C controller to the Teseo-LIV3R device.I'm periodically sending $PSTMNMEAREQUEST messages to get an NMEA message generated from the device. I see the NMEA message generated, followed by an echo of the request as expected, but this is often prepended by a small number of 0xff bytes. Every now and again, I see thousands of these 0xff in front of the requested NMEA message, and the I2C bus hangs immediately afterwards - recoverable only by putting the Teseo device into reset. Why is this 0xff data here - is this just the state of the SDA line if the Teseo device is not driving it - if so, why do the number of 0xff bytes seen vary, and why do I occasionally see thousands of these? The device is in it's default mode - looking at the user manual, this suggests that any low power operation is disabled....
What kind of connectors do you use, when there's no space for soldered connectors for flashing your boards?I wonder if there's a wider distributed (and cheaper) solution than TC2030-nl connectors. Those are nice, but waaaaaaay too expensive.
I try to read the data from BlueNRG-M2SP on an android application. For that with my STM32 I send to the UART a "u". On the application, I scan the services and Characteristic and I only find a write Characteristic but no read Characteristic, and I can't find in the documentation (https://www.st.com/resource/en/programming_manual/dm00294449-bluenrg-1-bluenrg-2-ble-stack-v2-x-programming-guidelines-stmicroelectronics.pdf ) how to have a read Characteristic on the custome service. i use the code exemple BLE chat Server that can find on the BlueNRG-1 NavigatorOn the code exemple i find some UUID but that doesn't work when i try to read data from the STM32
I need STUSB4761 I2C Device adress. In the datasheet I can not see.And I wanna use this pd with MCU and I2C controlled buck-boost converter. I will read STUSB4761 registers via I2C and after that I will control the buck-boost IC via I2C so input will be dc supply. İs it possible??
Hello ST Support,I have an STM32L4 MCU connected to a BlueNRG-M0 module on a custom PCB. I am not sure how to initialize the BLE gap for this BLE module. I'm using X-CUBE-BLE1 version 6.2.4 in a STM32CubeMx project with FreeRTOS. The getting started document says to use the aci_gap_init() function, but that does not exist in the library. Instead, there are the aci_gap_init_IDB04A1() and aci_gap_init_IDB051A() functions. However, both of those eval boards are NFRD and do not have the BlueNRG-M0 module. I've read a post about corrupting the memory on BLE modules, so I'm afraid to try that code before knowing if it will work with the BlueNRG-M0 module. As far as I can tell, the X-CUBE-BLE1 library is the correct library to use for the BlueNRG-M0, but please let me know if that isn't the case. If it is, how can I safely initialize the BLE gap interface?Best regards,Cory
Greetings,I am developing a multi-slave configuration using a few BlueNRG-2 modules where the master would also connect to a smartphone and transmit data collected from the slaves (a tree network). Though a dual master-slave (central-peripheral) role is possible, the question is if this also possible to assign specific aci_gap_set_io_capability() and aci_gap_set_authentication_requirement() for each gap role in the master device? Say, IO_CAP_NO_INPUT_NO_OUTPUT for the slaves and IO_CAP_KEYBOARD_DISPLAY for the smartphone?
Hello. When the A0,A1,A2 pins of 74HC138 are 0,0,0 Pulse is weird.I wonder what the cause is.
Greetings,For a project of mine, I would like to use on B-L4S5I-IOT01A IoT discovery kit both Wi-Fi ® (Inventek Systems ISM43362-M3G-L44) module and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BlueNRG-M0) module, in simultaneous.Reading the user manual for the board (UM2708) I saw that the Bluetooth module works exclusively on SPI3 and that the Wi-Fi module could work on SPI3 as well or on UART3, but all the implementations I found for the module are using a SPI for the HAL interface. I already found a similar question but the response was not exhaustive enough and the topic is quite old. (I cannot link it but the title was: ISM43362 wifi module via UART) My questions are:Is there a way to use SPI3 for both modules in simultaneous? if yes, how?If not, is there any implementation of the driver interface on a UART? Writing that on my own could be really difficult. Thank you in advance!
ST engineer:HI.I am using PSI5 protocol by ST L9663 now。can you give me a code about L9663?
Dear all,I am using a BlueNRG-LPS in my current project. Stack Library 3.1a is used. The device works as a peripheral. It works fine to establish a connection to the peripheral, but I am facing an issue to disconnect. There are several reasons that our custom application on the peripheral device has to terminate a connection. Ther is a function to do so:/** * @brief Command the controller to terminate the connection. A @ref * hci_disconnection_complete_event event will be generated when the link * is disconnected. It is important to leave an 100 ms blank window * before sending any new command (including system hardware reset), * since immediately after @ref hci_disconnection_complete_event event, * system could save important information in non volatile memory. * @param Connection_Handle Connection handle that identifies the connection. * Values: * - 0x0000 ... 0x0EFF * @param Reason The reason for ending the connection. * Values: * - 0x05: Authentication Failure * - 0x13: R
I`m using the EVB-LIV3R evaluation board (TESEO-LIV3R module inside) to parse the $GPGGA NMEA message, and I`m trying to implement the antenna sensing as an extra funcionality. Here`s the binary image firmware subsystem version from this module:$$GPTXT,DEFAULT GNSS ROM CONFIGURATION*01 $$PSTMVER,OS20LIB_4.3.0_ARM*47 $$PSTMVER,SVCLIB_2.5.0_ARM*1F $$PSTMVER,GPSAPP_2.3R_ARM*51 $$PSTMVER,BINIMG_4.5.8R_ARM*44 $$PSTMVER,SWCFG_81045315*61 $$PSTMVER,WAASLIB_2.20.0_ARM*6A $$PSTMVER,STA8090_822bc043*61 $$GPTXT,(C)2000-2011 ST Microelectronics*20Configuring the antenna sensing algorithm, we have 3 options: RF, ADC and GPIO mode (described better at UM2523, chapter 8). However, I wasn`t able to make this work on any case. I used the $PSTMCFGANTSENS command (description attached) to configure, and added the $PSTMANTENNASTATUS message to the message list, but it always returns the same value. On RF mode, the status is always 1 (open), even if I connect the antenna on it:# This is a comment, please r
