Posted on March 30, 2016 at 22:45Hi, Is there any way of assigning a unique ID to a &sharpinput tag in html, so that when I get the WIND:56: message prompting for data input, I dont have to worry about figuring out which page has been served? At the moment I just get the index as expected, 1, 2, 3 etc, so my only idea is to write a state machine and use output.cgi to output the name of the page being navigated to, to set the state, so then I know *which* data index 1, 2, 3 are actually requesting. :( This seems really laborious, and would mean that browser back and forward buttons wouldn't work unless there is a way of calling output.cgi on a page load... I have the shtml structure working, but it seems like knowing which page+index is being requested would be a very common requirement so wanted to ask before re-inventing the wheel. Can anyone point me at the CGI&SSI Application Note that I have seen mentioned in other threads? I dont seem to be able to find it anywhere and I
Posted on March 31, 2016 at 00:04I just fired up the SPWF01S module on a prototype board that I made. Got WIND:1, WIND:13, WIND:3, WIND:0, then this error over and over. I didn't send anything to the module. Did I forget to connect something, is the module requiring setup, or is the module damaged? Thanks #initial-spi-read-failed

Posted on March 30, 2016 at 12:47Hello, I am using SPBTLE-RF BLE Module along with X-CUBE-BLE1 sensor demo code. The program worked successfully when run on STM32L053 Nucleo board with SPBTLR-RF module. But when we ran the X-CUBE-BLE1 code on our PCB (Which is designed based on STM32L053 Nucleo board), the microcontroller resets just after setting SPBTLR-RF in discoverable mode. Using the following API:aci_gap_set_discoverable(ADV_IND, 0, 0, PUBLIC_ADDR, NO_WHITE_LIST_USE,sizeof(local_name), local_name, 0, NULL, 0, 0); It seems that the SPBTLR-RF sending a few advertising packets for few milliseconds just before the microcontroller resets. #ble #bluenrg-ms #spbtle-rf-ble

Posted on March 16, 2016 at 10:37Hi, In our product prototype we are using SPBTLE-RF BLE Module (BlueNRG-MS) for BLE connectivity. Due to space constrains in our product we are not using the EEPROM chip as given in the evaluation board X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 of SPBTLE-RF. -> Is it possible to use SPBTLE-RF module as standalone (Directly connected to SPI port of microcontroller) with our using EEPROM? -> Did anybody have example codes for SPBTLE-RF BLE Module (Note for X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1)? Best Regards Salman Khaja #bluenrg-ms-x-nucleo-idb05a1 #spbtle-rf #bluenrg-ms #ble
Posted on March 14, 2016 at 07:48We're using the STM32Nucleo + BlueNRg Expansion HRM profile with Android smartphone as a master. The connection interval is ~ 50 ms as dictated my the master. We would like to get access to the Android app''STM32 BLE ToolBox'' source code. The intent is to adjust the connection interval from the default 50 ms to 1 to 2 seconds. Is it possible to get a link where we can download the source code from? Any other suggestions to increase the connection interval are welcome. Thanks, -JP #ble-connection-interval
Posted on March 22, 2016 at 09:14Hi. Sorry for my poor English. My bluenrg device is not present in list of bluetooth devices in iOS settings, but iOS can connect to bluenrg with LightBlue and any other application. How can I add my bluenrg to list of visible devices? *I haven't such issue with android. I'm using SensorDemo.bin for STM32L053R8-Nucleo board form STM32CubeExpansion_BLE1_V2.5.2. iOS version 9.2.1
Posted on March 21, 2016 at 14:27I'm working with the BlueNRG in a system that has 4 services. I'll go into a bit more detail:Service 1 has 4 characteristics : 1 - RW 20 bytes (reduced to 17, see below).2 - RN 20 bytes3 - RW 20 bytes4 - RN 8 bytesService 2 has 3 characteristics:1 - W 2 bytes2 - RN 8 bytes3 - W 8 bytesService 3 has 5 characteristics:1 - RW 20 bytes2 - RN 20 bytes3 - RN 20 bytes4 - RN 20 bytes5 - RN 20 bytesand finally, service 4 has 2 characteristics:1 - RW 8 bytes2 - RN 6 bytesMy problem is that, in the above configuration, the call to aci_gatt_add_char for the last characteristic fails with ERR_UNSPECIFIED_ERROR with the values as shown above. However, if I reduce the first characteristic of service 1 from 20 to 17 (by removing three ''reserved for future use'' bytes from it), then everything is fine. The error began to occur when one of the other characteristics grew from 18 to 20 bytes (don't recall which one). Posted on March 21, 2016 at 14:06I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this (it may be a generic bluetooth question, I'm a bit of a newbie at this), but please bear with me.I had a bug in my software where I had accidentally declared in ACI_Gatt_Add_Characteristic a characteristic with a variable length value field (it isn't, it's fixed length). It contained a 20 byte structure. When calling ACI_Gatt_Update_Char_Value, I tried updating only parts of the structure by using the offset and length parameters. This changed the size of the characteristics value each time.I modified the length to be fixed length, but because I re-read the documentation, also modified the calls to the function Aci_Gatt_Update_Char_Value to always having offset 0 and length 20, because I don't understand what this means (from the documentation):Val_Offset:The offset from which the attribute value has to be updated. Ifthis is set to 0, and the attribute value is of variable length, thenthe
Posted on March 16, 2016 at 09:38Hello everyone. Posted on March 09, 2016 at 16:07Hello! We use SPWF01SA module for Internet access to our device. We are using this script - input.cgi - to channel data from STM32F439 to web application (web server). Client gets data using Ajax which use input.cgi. It works fine... for 2-5 minutes, then it stuck - firstly module send ''timeout occured'': +WIND:56:Insert message to client: TIMEOUT OCCURRED! then it stops send anything, sometimes exact in the middle of phrase, for example: +WIND:56:Insert message to And then radio dropped wifi connection. Looks like module locks up. Data that module gets from STM32 is 107 bytes long. Why does module stuck? Is it too long - 107 bytes - for this script? I can post html side here if it helps.
Posted on January 02, 2016 at 17:03I'd like to read IFR registers of my BlueNRG-MS module. Using BlueNRG GUI I can read chips' version, I can initialize it and I can update the firmware. But I can't read IFR. When I go to Tools... -> BlueNRG IFR... and click Read I get: ParsingError Unknown vendor code What can be the cause? #bluenrg-gui-ifr
Posted on February 04, 2016 at 13:55Hi all, In BlueNRG chat application, i can able to transfer and receive data if the packet size was 20 or below. When i change the packet size more than 20 bytes , communication doesn't started. But i need to transfer 35 bytes at a time. Where i have to change packet size? Thanks in Advance Regards Ratheesh
Posted on February 13, 2016 at 09:14Hi,We are using BlueNRG-MS with Andorid 5.1x. using GATT profile. Need to know what is the max throughput we can achieve here? What seetings are needed to achieve the same? Currently we ae using conection interwal as : 800ms , slave latecy :0, 20byets per packet. With this we are not able to achieve the throuput, our goal is to double this.Regards
Posted on February 19, 2016 at 14:35Hi all, I need to know, BlueNRG firmware version which is flashed in my BlueNRG chip without using BlueNRG GUI window. What are the possibilities to get this ? Can i get this from SPI ? or give me proper commands? Thanks Regards Ratheesh
Posted on March 03, 2016 at 04:23Hi everyone,I'm doing a project to communicate between stm32f107 to blueNRG. I also check the sample controller from STM evaluation board which is based on stm32l1xx. What I found that there are many differences between standard peripheral library of stm32f1xx and stm32l1xx.Would anyone help me to migrate from stm32l1xx to stm32f1xx?Thanks,Thinh

Posted on March 03, 2016 at 09:34Hai !I am having two wifi modules and I have configured the initial settings. In both the modules I am getting the status ''Handshake Complete''.After this i tried to give command ''AT'' and both giving the response OKnow I have sent the command ''AT+S.SOCKD=8855'' only one module responds OK and the other now is showing ''ERROR: Command not found''. Could you please help me why it is so?Also tell me how to update the firmware through cable
Posted on February 19, 2016 at 08:52Hi, your BlueNRG-MS examples look very powerful - supporting Chat? So I would assume that it is possible to get a datarate in the range 20kHz * 16 Bit, so about 40kByte/sec or 300kBit/sec - is this true? Does this work only from BlueNRG to BlueNRG, or does this work also, if I connect the BlueNRG-MS to an Android smartphone, e. g. Samsung Galaxy 5/6? Is there some simple Android example code (best in Java) to show/test this chat functionality? Could this also be applied to transfer of smaller/medium sized files (up to e. g. 100kByte)? Does the BlueNRG DK sample code contain any ''hidden code'' / Lib inclusion, or is this complete c code (unfortunately this shows only IAR-EWARM projects, but I work with Keil-ARM-MDK). Is there anywhere some info, how to setup the projects in another IDE (at least a list showing the source files necessary for each project?).
Posted on August 06, 2015 at 00:02Reading and writing the SPIRIT1 radio registers directly, doesn't seem to work. Here is one simple example...AT/SR36=10OKAT/SR36?36=88AT/V reports SP1ML-915 HW:V1 FW:V0.12Is there a more recent firmware version that addresses this?
Posted on February 10, 2016 at 16:24Hi,Now I am sending AT Commands in two ways1. through Tera Term 2. through UART ( Wifi Module Connected to my MCU via UART )Is there any other way to send AT commands ?Is it possible to send AT commands on air ???
Posted on October 05, 2015 at 02:38I'm wanting to load a custom firmware onto the SP1ML-915, as I'd like to implement abilities I can't get through the existing AT command set. Where can I find documentation about how the STM32L151RB is connected to the Spirit1 chip? i.e. which spi on what pins? Also, does STM32CubeMX offer any help in setting up a base for a this type of firmware? Would appreciate any pointers, as I'm fairly new to all of this.
Posted on February 04, 2016 at 17:03Hi all, I have a problem. I use Wifi module in miniAP mode. I started to listen UDP socket in port 18120 and connect one client to this socket and go to data mode. When i send data from client to wifi module and next to MCU everything it is ok. But In most case when i send data from MCU to client over wifi module, data lost. I think this is problem of FW in module. I check uart data in scope and it is ok, MCU send data to wifi module. Anybody have same issue? Thanks for help, Ondra FW version: 141106-0950875-SPWF02S ( i think this is v3.3)
Posted on February 19, 2015 at 09:42HelloI have 2 STEVAL-SPBT3ATV3 to evaluate an application and the first BlueModule is on v1.6 for the firmware and the 2nd is on v1.3.How i can find and download the FW v1.6 for upgrade ?Thanks for your respond #bluettooth-spbt2632c2a.at2
