I'm guessing that it's connected to GND, but I cannot find any information regarding this.On the similar circuit TDA7391LV, it's stated in the datasheet that the ''tab'' of the ''Multiwatt 11'' version is connected to GND, but I don't see any information regarding the ''PowerSO-20'' versions.If it's not connected to GND. Is it okay to connect it to GND?Kind regards,Albin

I wonder if there might be fakes in the market for this Amp Model , or if there is another version that works with other than the proposed schematic datasheet . Someone has something similar happened ?. The number of the batch of every hundred devices is : SINGAPORE W88030938 . Thanks for the help and comments. #tda7297

Posted on December 15, 2015 at 07:57Hi, Can i use single output only with stereo output provision? for eg: TDA7297 is 2+15W stereo IC,  But i want single (mono) out only with 15W, Can i use single channel only? reaming channel should connect or make it floating /open? if open means, Its create any problem. Pls suggest me

As per datasheet recommenced test circuit (Figure 3a: Stand-alone Low-cost Application.) i have assembled & test the circuit with common VS & VCC 12V DC and VS5V & VCC12V. but no response of the output speaker (8Ohm 10W). If i missing any thing Please suggest me Thank You

Could you please recommend audio amplifiers solution for mono recorder / player with following characteristics: electret micdinamic speaker 0.3W power voltage 3.0Vshutdown possibility is neccessarynot so expensivewill be used with STM32F3 12bit ADC & DAC for recording short voice tags to waypoints Currently I'm looking for TS472 mic preamp and class-D or AB BTL speaker amp. Might is be a better solution? BTW, is it possible to contol TS472 gain by MCU?  Or add a limiter?

Posted on November 08, 2015 at 19:24Anyone heard about a ST IC with the name 07502233?It sits in a Bosch Charger with a LM324AN beside it. Both are STMicroelectronics. But I can't find what type the 07502233 IC are! Any that know and can tell if it's possible to get it online?

I'm a teacher and I would like to use this device at school for some projects. Unfortunately, I have no sufficient ability and time in order to design a board for this integrated circuit. So my question is if there is an evaluation board that I can exploit to use such amplifier. I made a lot of search on the web without finding it. Required configuration: Single stereo I2S input on SDI12 Two I2S outputs: stereo to main speakers and mono to subwoofer Questions: 1. What is the correct output I2S mapping: SDO12 to main speakers and SDO56 to subwoofer (right or left)? 2. Can you tell if the following configuration is correct? AMBMME and AMBMXE bits enabled (bass mix and crossover) CSS and RSS set to 10 (off) SUB enabled FSS and XO bits sets according to speaker configuration Thanks! #sta309a

Posted on July 17, 2015 at 23:24Hello,I'm setting up a system with a STA309A DSP and a STA510A amplifier.I'm expecting to connect two 8Ω loads with a maximum power of 50W each, but I can't find the graphics that show the estimated Power dissipation and the THD that I can expect at that level. The datasheet for other parts like the STA518A do have figures that allow me to calculate that. Is there an application note that describes how to calculate the required power supply for a specific power output? 

Posted on September 28, 2015 at 20:32I am trying to use one I2S input and send out L/R stereo as standard class-D PWMs and output the subwoofer at line level. My confusion arises with properly setting up the cross-over and how to use the DDX Headphone output to create a line level signal. What configuration would you recommend to achieve this? Is there a way to switch between two different I2S inputs like a A/B selector in this configuration? #audio-processing #sta309a

Posted on September 04, 2015 at 23:14Hi, I'm using STA369BWS as the amplifiers in my application. There are a pair of stereo speakers and a subwoofer speaker. The stereo speakers' resistance is 4 OHM, and the subwoofer one is 8 OHM. I'm using two STA369BWS to drive the stereo speakers in the stereo BTL mode, and the  subwoofer in mono BTL mode. My power supply is 14~18V. The reference configuration in the datasheet for a stereo BTL mode is for a 8 OHM speaker, not 4 OHM. Can someone recommend the output configurations for my application? Posted on August 28, 2015 at 15:47Hello,I am developing new device with TDA7576B amplifier. TDA7576 input voltage -0.3 to 5V (from absolute maximum ratings). Is it rms value or input signal voltage must be positive only? I need computer line out signal to drive TDA7576B. Line out signal output voltage is 0.316 rms. Can I put  line out signal to TDA7576B input directly?

Posted on August 27, 2015 at 09:31A amplifier system：ADC+STA339BW+MCU，MCU generate a 12MHz clock apply to ADC(connect to MCLK pin) and STA339BW(connect to XTI pin)。I don't know how many differences will be，will this effect THD+N,SNR? is there any document about this issue? thanks

Posted on July 11, 2015 at 09:29Dear Forum members, In one  of my application, I need to drive photo LED of IL300 through TLO64. But it is not working. If I just replace TLO64 with TLO74, everything works proper. My initial guess was that TLO64 might not be supplying sufficient current. But looking at datasheet, I didn't find any major deviation in output current graph of both these IC's. Am I  missing something?

I'm designing an array of loudspeakers and i have thought to use the TDA7264 amplifier, but i have some questions:· For the power supply, Should i consider the music power parameter?· If I'm going to use 8 TDA7264, Could I use only one standby/mute circuit for all        devices (datasheet Figure 12)? Thanks!

Posted on May 11, 2015 at 02:41The TDA7391 (http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/datasheet/CD00000162.pdf) has two pins that are named MUTE and SYNC. SYNC is supposed to be connected to ground through a resistor (named R2), and MUTE is supposed to be connected to a capacitor (named C3). The datasheet notes that: ''The values of C3 and R2 determine the time required to bias the amplifier.''The datasheet has an example circuit (Figure 3 in the datasheet) which shows R2 as 56 kOhm and C3 as 33 F. I think that last number must be a typo.Does anyone know what a good value for C3 is? Does anyone know how exactly the values of C3 and R2 determine the time required to bias the amplifier? Is it just the RC time?For what it's worth, the http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/datasheet/DM00051686.pdf (a similar device) has a R2 of 220 kOhm and a C3 of 2.2 uF in its example circuit.
