Hello, I created my account with my university e-mail address when I was a student. I can access this address now, but I will not have access to it in the near future. So I need to change my e-mail address but I cannot change it. I would be very grateful if you can help me with this.
Moved to Feedback forum.@ Peter BENSCHST EmployeeThank you for taking the time to respond.I fully understand and respect STMicroelectronics' policy of supporting only genuine STM32 products. At the same time, I would like to humbly point out that locking the thread without offering any basic direction or educational resources left the situation somewhat unresolved from a learning perspective. Many users, especially beginners, might not be aware that they have purchased non-genuine hardware. Providing even a simple link to an FAQ, guidelines on identifying genuine products, or a short note on safe purchasing practices would greatly help the community avoid such issues in the future.I appreciate the efforts of the ST team and community members.Looking forward to working with genuine STM32 products and learning more through this platform.Thank you once again for your support and understanding.Best regards,[Vishwjeet] Updating Mediahttps://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-boards-and-
In instances where they don't answer the question, or where they answer it incorrectly, I have been reporting these. Should I keep doing so?Does the ST community have a stance on whether or not AI-generated reponses are allowed? Is that stance in the guidelines and if not, can we put it there? For example, clearly this is ChatGPT generated nonsense:Another one, same thread even.At first glance it seems like these answer the question, but they fall apart under inspection. These two are obvious, some are less so.
A warm welcome to all new members joining our community this year! The year 2025 started with some exciting announcements: The launch of a new Learning section. The goal is to provide a centralized hub for our learning material (MOOCs, workshops), and to engage with any user who has questions or feedback. The launch of the Super User Program, which will run on a yearly basis. The Super User Program brings together the most active and trusted members of the ST Community in an exclusive private online area to foster collaboration and offer a privileged communication channel with ST experts. Also, the ST Community team participated for the first time in a key industry event – Embedded World 2025 in Germany. We met many existing and new community members, super users, and ST experts. It was a truly inspiring and motivating experience to engage with you all face to face. Now, let us look at your latest achievements and most engaged ar

I just submitted my first topic to the technical forum and had it immediately flagged as spam. I have no idea why this occurred and I'd just like to be able to post my topic. Thanks.
Hi,Please add buttons at the top of a profile that jumps to a forum. And/Or a menu item with list of user selected forums. It takes too many clicks to switch/access forums.Thank you.
Hello,Does anyone from ST actually monitor these forums, and will some of these reported problems get fixed in upcoming releases? or is there another forum or ticket process that needs to get started?

In the past I know that it was not possible to change the email address of an ST account.I use a personal address to be independent of my changes of employers. But now ST requires a commercial email address to participate in webinars. In the same way you impose a commercial address to order on ST eStore.Since ST has tightened its policy regarding email addresses, it becomes imperative to be able to update them. The alternative is to create a "fake" account for each use... I did it but I receive triple notifications and announcements! So how do I change the email address used by my account?

This is something I haven't seen in last couple of months, but appeared and happens relatively often since last week or two.#updates_are_not_universally_good_thing#unnecessary_javascriptoiding_is_a_bad_thingJW
Hello, may be someone can answer the following question:I would like to order from estore a NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q dev board but would like to clarify one moment. The description says: **** On-board ST-LINK (STLINK/V2-1, STLINK-V3E, or STLINK-V3EC) *** If I understand the situation correctly those types of debug./program. are mutually exclusive. How do I order NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q dev board with STLINK-V3 and not V2? I opened a ticket with Sales/CS on March 6 (Case# 00227964) and so far received 4 replies ranging from "will send it to A, he knows better" to "the board is sold by a third-party distributor, so we dont know ask them" i.e. people have no idea what is being sold through ST web site. What is really upsetting is that on the web page in question https://estore.st.com/en/nucleo-h755zi-q-cpn.html the customers are encouraged to contact sales if they have any questions. Thanks!
