Hi STM,
you fixed this asap .....not.

or
This is a longstanding bug (over 4 years). and again:
Opening an internal ticket is not a solution, it is poor.

That link doesn't work:
There's a spurious full stop on the end.
The previous link to the same page is OK.

Hello @padawan
First let me thank you for posting.
It's well understood that this behavior create frustration to users.
The issue is under analysis from our team. The issue is linked to Eclipse version used by STM32CCubeIDE and it should be fixed when the Eclipse is updated.
Our teams are doing there best to fix this and any other defect to provide the best user experience.
KR,
Semer.

So why is it not even listed in the 'Known Issues', then?

Hello Andrew,
You're right, it's an oversight. I've added it in the list.
My apologies
For the issue itself, we are dependent on Eclipse integration.
Thank you

Hello Cristelle
162500 | After programming a device in Run mode, STM32CubeIDE opens every time a new tab with startup file and give focus on that tab. |
it open not only the startupfile "*.s". It open randomly files. like .c or .cpp.
If you have a new project and debug it at the first time, it is not showning this behavior.
If you debug the project after this, a second or more one, it opens randomly files form the project.

What us the release planning? Once we upgrade to this version how long we can expect support on this version? Or when we file bug, will you say, if you want, upgrade and try yourself?
