How to more helpfully classify/identify Bookmarks?

Andrew Neil

Currently, Bookmarks are just identified by the original title of the Thread:

AndrewNeil_0-1756375508331.png

Often, that's not particularly useful.

eg, Re: My WIN11 can detect USB Virtual COM Port, but my coworker cannot at the top of that list.

What I'd really like to have as the title of my Bookmark is something like, "Poor power causes USB to sometimes work, sometimes not" - which is quite a frequent topic.

also, is there a way to search Bookmarks?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Also, as  @waclawek.jan said a few years back, it would be good if the bookmarks were more directly accessible

Hi @Andrew Neil,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions here.

I've looked this up and unfortunately, out of the box, you can't customize the titles of the bookmark and have search in this component. Have you considered using the bookmarks function on your browser instead as it has the functions you need?

I've reached out to our platform vendor to see if there are any updates on this component upcoming or such changes are possible only through customization request. I will get back once I have news here.

Regards,
Lina
