Hi I have problems with our custom board bringing up the VREFBUF. I eddited the devicetree as follows (also in U-Boot).&vrefbuf{ status = "okay"; compatible = "st,stm32-vrefbuf"; reg = <0x50025000 0x8>; regulator-min-microvolt = <2500000>; regulator-max-microvolt = <2500000>; clocks = <&rcc VREF>; vdda-supply = <&vdd>; };I also tried vdda-supply vdda. Did not change anything. When i check through the kernel messages there is no sign that the VREFBUF module is started or any error concerning VREFBUF.Also the VREFBUF is not working what is verified by the ADC Values.We use the ADC only on the M4 Core.The VREFBUFF can be activated from the M4 and the ADC is working fine.What am I doing wrong?I would be very grateful for some advice!.
I am trying to creating u-boot files for self definded project.Unfortunately i get the error during individual building (see https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP1_Developer_Package#Installing_the_OpenSTLinux_BSP_packages:(Device Tree Source (arch/arm/dts/stm32mp153c-***-mx.dtb) is not correctly specified.The issue itself is correct. How do i create the *.dtb from STM32 Project (Device Tree Source available for all 4-5 Phases)? In which phase is the generation of this *.dtb File done (Kernel,TF-A,OPTEE,...)?
Hi,Does anyone know how to enable dts and driver for ANA0/ANA01 ? We tried normal ADC and they are working well but can't find where relates to ANA0/ANA01Many thanks,
Hey there, I am working with a custom board based on an OSD32MP157F SoM. The pinout is very similar with the DK2 board with some minor differences, mainly the DSI_RESET pin. I have done several tests on STM32MP157f-dk2 boards with an eDP display that connects through a MIPI/eDP bridge to the DSI port of the DK. This works fine for a while now. In the custom board I do not have included any ltdc peripheral as I thought that it is not needed for driving the DSI bridge. I made a new image with the corresponding pinout and the bridge i2c driver initializes normally as seen in the bootlog. Hi, I designed a board with stm32mp135 and YT8531 phy chip. The ETH1 is not working and ETH2 is work good. They all output 125Mhz from phy to mac. But the ETH1 has reset dma failed. I had measure the 125Mhz is correct on phy side.Below is my dts code&eth1 { status = "okay"; pinctrl-0 = <&eth1_rgmii_pins_a>; pinctrl-1 = <&eth1_rgmii_sleep_pins_a>; pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; phy-mode = "rgmii-id"; max-speed = <1000>; phy-handle = <&phy0_eth1>; mdio1 { #address-cells = <1>; #size-cells = <0>; compatible = "snps,dwmac-mdio"; phy0_eth1: ethernet-phy@1 { compatible = "ethernet-phy-ieee802.3-c22"; reg = <1>; reset-gpios = <&gpiog 10 GPIO_ACTIVE_LOW>; reset-assert-us = <10000>; reset-deassert-us = <1000>; }; }; }; &eth2 { status = "okay"; pinctrl-0 = <&eth2_rgmii_pins_a>; pinctrl-1 = <&eth2_rgmii_sleep_pins_a>; pinc

Hello,We have a design that uses an STiD337-DCB CPU.We're trying to find out if we can use an STiD337-YCB instead.However I can't find any documentation that explains what DCB/YCB stands for ?
Hi there,we are in the process of developing a product based on the STM32MP151F which will be USB powered (USB 2.0 device).We are aiming to have it connected to an eMMC for mass storage and we would like to achive the highest R/W speed which should be 200MB/sec using HS200.1) If my understanding is correct we cannot use the STM32MP157F-EV1 as starting point as the boards is using the STPMIC1A which regulates the eMMC VCCQ @3.3V and it incompatible with HS200, is it correct?2) Has the STM32MP151 ever been tested at HS200 speed with a commercially available eMMC? Is there e refence design that e can use as starting point?3) We have read the "2.3.19 DLYB limits SDMMC throughput" errata. Does it implies that HS200 is unusable? Or we can use it and it is just enough to disable the DLYB? If so why should we enable the DLYB in the first time?4) If we use the STPMIC1B which regulates VDD at 1.8V making it compatible with HS200, is there any drop in the MPU performances?5) Is there a refer
I have a STM32MP15X-EVAL board MB1262C-01 with a MB1263B-04 CPU-board on it (MP157AAA3). I'm following the instructions from 'STM32MP15_Evaluation_boards_-_Starter_Package'Boot 0,1,2 jumpers are OFF, JP1 is removed. Hi,I am interested in using the STM32MP157F for the following tasks:Receiving data from USB 2.0.Encrypting the received data using AES 256.Storing the encrypted data in an external eMMC.Preferably utilizing DMA for efficient data transfers.I would like to know if it is possible to configure DMA channels to enable direct peripheral-to-peripheral communication, such as USB 2.0 -> CRYPTO (AES 256) -> eMMC.Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if you could provide an example or reference on how to utilize DMA with USB, cryptographic operations, and eMMC.Thank you.Best regards,Alessandro

Hi,We are working on STM32MP151, with custom linux, no PMIC.We have a reset button connect to NRST line, it works fine in Uboot or during linux boots. But right after the login prompt occurs, the reset button is nolonger work. When we hit the button, system seems crashed, no response from command prompt. We have to disconnect power and reconnect again.Does anyone have experience with it?many thanks.
Hi everyone,I write a function to start all other functions without any parameter like Start(); in while, but in this funciton I write different function like thisvoid Start() { if(huart->Instance == USART1) measure(tx1_buffer); else if(huart->Instance == USART2) measure(tx2_buffer_buffer); }so I want to know in this function which UART is return to function, bcs It is a parameter of measure function. Can I use flags to specify which uart is? What would you recommend?
Hi, I want to debug OP-TEE on STM32 MPU board.Using 'st_stm32mp157f_dk2_demo_defconfig' configuration of STM32MP1 Buildroot external tree(buildroot-external-st), We indirectly confirmed that OP-TEE is built and ran normally on the board with Buildroot.I would like to customize the code in optee-os using the APIs provided by OP-TEE. Before I do that, I'd like to try to print out whether the code works at a certain point in time and the results of the modified code using the OP-TEE API and track the function calls.I followed the OP-TEE official document, but the debug log is not captured. In addition, the document only guides you on how to track function calls.Then, while reading the [How to debug OP-TEE] page on the STM32MP1 Wiki(wiki/How_to_debug_OP-TEE), I realized that the debug log is printed on the OP-TEE console(Marked by the cursor in the attached picture). So what I'm curious about are two things.1) Where do the OP-TEE debug results go? (What is an OP-TEE console?)2) Is the
STM32MP157C-dk2I am trying to update the Board using SUART3 (Pins PB10, PB12) over STM32CubeProgrammer. The connection to STM32CubeProgrammer is established successfully. Product: STM32MP153CAA3we are trying to debug the Cortex M4 over the SWD Interface. The setup of the Bank0,1,2 is configured correct (Engineering Mode) . During the analysis of SWD we see that Debugger fails to access ROM Table (Address: 0xE00FFFE4, CM4ROM_PIDR1) Expected alue is 0x004. Read value is 0x7310F507The IDCODE and the settings of registers before are matching the expectation.What are the reasons for failing to access those registers ? (clocks, voltage ...)
Hello,we are using STM32MP157AAA for our custom board.we are trying to boot from uboot 2021-10 version facing an issue like MMC card not found. But in the same board from uboot 2018 version it is working fine.Please help us in this regards.please find the image for reference. Regards..Navaneeth
We have a custom board based on STM32MP157 MPU and running AOSP, with AUO G101EVN010 LCD-TFT panel using an LVDS to LTDC converter for interface.Setup of the system is done using the STM32MP1 distribution for Android. I am able to get the panel to display the Android UI, but the issue is the colors on the UI.Below is an image of the Android home screen:Observation: RGB appears to be BRG.When I pull down the notification panel from the top, the notification overlay shows and it is observed that colors in the background appear correct as seen below: Not getting where the issue is.Using the MEDIA_BUS_FMT_RGB666_1X18 format for DRM and LTDC DT node settings as follows:&ltdc { /* compatible = "simple-panel"; */ status = "okay"; bits-per-pixel = <16>; bus-width = <18>; display-timings { timing { clock-frequency = <68930000>;
Using the STM32MP157 development kit, I have configured two "GPIO Analog" lines that are exposed through CN13 (pins 1 and 2).I am trying to set these up as such. From going down the rabbit trail of documentation:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/GPIO_internal_peripheral#Software_frameworkshttps://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/GPIOLib_overviewand then:https://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/Overview_of_GPIO_pinshttps://wiki.stmicroelectronics.cn/stm32mpu/wiki/Pinctrl_overviewIt seems to confirm that I need to use "pinctrl" technique to set these. Okay. I have configured them with CubeMX. However, my DTS file doesn't reference these pins at all. I've gone through the exported DTS and I do not see anything referencing PG3, or PH6.So, I feel like this has failed at the outset. Is there a trick to this? I assume once I get these configured I can read the value using libgpio API functions.
We are using ST32MP153 running mainline linux on the A7 cores. And we want to use the M4 for realtime processing and output. Therefore some resources shall be used by Linux at the A7 cores. Some by the M4. If we get it right, ST's solution for that is the resource manager https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Resource_manager_for_coprocessing. But this driver is not available at kernel.org. What's the reason for that? Is it planned to add it? And what are the alternatives for mainline linux?
