Hi all ~I have a question regarding dual display.I want to display same content at the same time to both display devices (LTDC and HDMI).But, As my understanding, STM32MP1 has only one display controller. https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000DH4AqSAL/can-i-use-dual-display-on-stm32mp157c-chipsetMy TFT-LCD's resolution is 1280x800 (10.1inch) and support LVDS.So, if I can implement dual display, LCD and HDMI will has same resolution. Isn't there any solution to implement dual display implementation?Actually, I tried the following. As a result, both display devices can be display same content at the same time. But there is one problem that display quaility is not clearly. And both display devices has exactly same quality. To be honest I don't know exactly that this application is right. Can I get some advice? Thanks regards

I'm using coral dev board(i.MX8MQ) and trying to build tensorflow(2.5.0), libedgetpu(2.5.0) for imx. I couldn't find build for imx in your github repo. Any chance to help?
Hello sir I am using stm32MP157 with ICS-43434 sensor via the I2S interface I am following "https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/I2S_Linux_driver" link to enable the I2S driver in my "make menuconfig" the "STM32 I2S interface (SPI/I2S block) support" option not found. I need some suggestions for how can i configure the I2S of STM32MP1 and how can i configure STM32MP157 with ICS-43434.
I am editing a device tree for my custom board generated by Cube MX. My TF-A .dts folder does not contain any information about QUADSPI which is used for serial flash memory, so should I add a node for quadspi and a child node for flash or I should only edit peripherals generated by CubeMx which are sections like these: /* USER CODE BEGIN peripheralX */ /* USER CODE END peripheralX */I am a little confused, can you help me with this? Thank you in advance.
Hello,I am following this guide: https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP1_Distribution_PackageI have reached step 6, but when I run bitbake st-image-weston I'm getting this error:DEBUG: Executing python function populate_packages ERROR: QA Issue: icu: Files/directories were installed but not shipped in any package: /usr/lib/lib Please set FILES such that these items are packaged. Alternatively if they are unneeded, avoid installing them or delete them within do_install. icu: 1 installed and not shipped files. [installed-vs-shipped]Before that, I used this command: DISTRO=openstlinux-weston MACHINE=stm32mp13-disco source layers/meta-st/scripts/envsetup.shDo you know what can I do to fix this error? I have attached a copy of the error log.
Hi ST Community,I'm trying to build st-weston-image for my stm32mp157f-dk2 board with yocto and the following configuration:Release: kirkstoneMACHINE = "stm32mp1"The layers that I use are the following:BBLAYERS ?= " \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/poky/meta \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/poky/meta-poky \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/poky/meta-yocto-bsp \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-filesystems \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-gnome \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-initramfs \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-multimedia \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-networking \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-oe \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-perl \</absolute/path/to/yocto/directory>/meta-openembedded/meta-python \</absolute/pa
Hello everyone,I am trying to replicate this approach to integrate STM32MP1 with an external audio codec. The issue I am facing is that the sub-block SAI-A is generating the bitclock (SCK), while I need it to receive it from the external audio codec. I am sniffing the I2S bus and whenever the audio is played, I can see the SCK being generated by SAI-A.Could you please provide details on how to set the SAI in slave mode, so that the SCK is not generated? Thanks in advance!
Hi all I have a new board of STM32MP157C, But I found the eMMC's pin in board is not the default pin. If I want to boot from eMMC what I should do? write the otp to set pin of eMMC and set the device tree. is that enough ?
we are using stm32mp157f-ev1 and we build the weston image for this board.We want to enable the SPI-1 on this boardwe had applied the following patch to enable the SPI-1+&spi1 { + status = "okay"; + pinctrl-names = "default", "sleep"; + pinctrl-0 = <&spi1_pins_a>; + pinctrl-1 = <&spi1_sleep_pins_a>; + cs-gpios = <&gpioz 3 O>; + timeouts = <3>; + + spidev@0 { + status = "okay"; + com
I ask because I'm starting the project of a converter that receives the video signal via optical fiber and converts it to an SDI output.
On the default image provided from ST, is there any way to check what color depth is running on it.I think it is 24bit but not sure. I ran modetest but no option to show this information.

How to setup a dhcp server on STM32 MP1?
I use ubuntu22.04 and stm32mp1-openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15. When compiling TF-A, I can't get STM32 files. Here are the details
I have a custom board based on stm32mp157c which is working with arm-trusted-firmware version v2.2-stm32mp.I updated tf-a to version v2.4-stm32mp version keeping the same DTS file but the problem is that tf-a is starting and hangs at loading sp min as follow, no u-boot is showing:NOTICE: CPU: STM32MP157CAA Rev.Z NOTICE: Model: XYZ Variant 3 NOTICE: BL2: v2.4-r2.1-nofip(release):v2.4-stm32mp-r2-37-gaaa0ea904-dirty NOTICE: BL2: Built : 17:56:47, Aug 25 2022 NOTICE: BL2: Booting BL32 NOTICE: SP_MIN: v2.4-r2.1-nofip(release):v2.4-stm32mp-r2-37-gaaa0ea904-dirty NOTICE: SP_MIN: Built : 17:56:54, Aug 25 2022u-boot.stm32 is perfeclty loading and woking if I revert to v2.2-stm32mp.I have no idea where to look !
Hi,Because dotnet core supports ARMv7, but it doesn't say much clear about ARMv7M. So, I tried to port uCLinux from STM32F7 on my custom STM32H7 board. The OS boots fine but when I ran "dotnet --version", response is "sh: ./dotnet: No such file or directory".I run directly from the folder that contain dotnet SDK so no PATH needed, and the execute file "dotnet" is exist, with execution mode as well.Seems dotnet is not happy with ARMv7M which is not surprised us. But if anyone is already success, or any suggestion are welcome.
Hallo everybody,I have a problem with flashing a data into GP0 partition of eMMC. I have added 2 General Purpose Partitions to our eMMC and left 32MB free userspace. Now a STM32Programmer can see only a 32MB of the userspace and i can not flash an image into GP-Partition. STM32Programmer say: mmc0 max address is 0x1f80000 and mmc1 and mmc2 are not available. Are there some special options to recognize another 2 GP-Partitions I added with linux mmc-tool?Thanks in advance.
When I'm working on configuring devicetree for a new board, adding new nodes and tweaking values, I often run into a un-bootable system. What I would like is that there is a bit more information of what goes wrong.Like now it just quits booting if some node in the references some unitialized hardware. like if vrefbuf perihperal is not activated, and I reference a voltage from there *Crash*.Is there any ways to make the workflow more tolerable?
I have several questions first one is what is the max clock for I2C, minimum is pointed at this sheet but what is the max?Again for the same sheet for the LCD-TFT controller, I will be using 1.8V LVDS display so fclk frequency will be 45 MHz max right? If so would be the affect for the display having 45 MHz instead of 90 MHz?For SAI and SPI conditions are between 1.71<Vdd<3.6 and 2.7<Vdd<3.6 so shouldn't it the first one should be 1.71<Vdd<2.7 ? What happens if Vdd=1.8V?For USART max frequency is 27 MHz on the sheet, however for the stm32mp157a-ev1 board it is 60 MHz default. Does not it cause problem?Thank you in advance.
I am asking this question after using the the Developer package of the STM32 Echosystem in orfer to recompile the kernel drivers of the ADC to activate the ADC, how ever i can't figure out how to modify the device tree. i was trying to get this example "3.3 How to perform multiple ADC conversions in triggered buffer mode using libiio" provided by st to work (https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_use_the_IIO_user_space_interface) how ever when i reach this example to test it doesn't work since i don't have the trigger0 showing up after using the iio_info command$ iio_readdev -t trigger0 -s 8 -b 8 iio:device0 voltage0 voltage1 | hexdumpin that case my question is how to get this example working by changing the device tree and the developement echosystem's method ? this is my device tree configuration &adc { vdd-supply = <&vdd>; vdda-supply = <&vdda>; vref-supply = <&vdda>; status = "okay"; adc1: adc@0 { st,min-sample-time-nsecs = <5000>;
Hi all,I followed the instructions described on the wiki, page ADC_device_tree_configuration.Changing the sampling_frequency, I can achieve a sampling rate of about 10k. Going higher crashes the system. Reducing the parameter 'min-sample-time-nsecs' in the device tree did not solve the issue. Is it not possible to go higher with the sampling rate when using the iio interface? Would I option higher sampling rates writing a C Program accessing the ADC via mmap()?Any hint is appreciated.Denise
My eMMC for my custom board support HS200 so I/O should be 1.8V, does STM32MP15 supports this speed and what is the max data rate?I will be only using eMMC for booting (no SD card or any kind of boot device) so should I go with STPMIC1A or STPMIC1B?Which output should I use of the PMIC's for the eMMC since it is going to be the only booting device it should be powered up properly at the start?
I have the connection on the image from AN5031 for my custom board and I my clock configuration can be seen on the other picture. Is my clock configuration correct and how its device tree code should be?
