Hi All; Previously, I use to firmware version 1.2.1 is working with LoRa server version 1.0.2 according LoRa alliance. Now I use to firmware version 1.2.2 is not working. I can send data in OTAA mode. I see Join Request and Join Accept but I can't see data. Could you please advice me?Thank you,Best regards.
Hi,I am using B-L072Z-LRWAN1and AT-Slave project from I-Cube-LORAWAN SDK. What sequence of AT commands should the host issue to Join the network in OTAA mode and send data. Currently, I am using AT+JOIN and AT+SEND. But with these commands, I am not able to achieve a good range in my range testing. I did try to use AT+TXP=5 but it did not make any difference. Are there any AT command to improve the range? Thank You
I'm using the P-NUCLEO-WB55 development board, and I'm using the IDE to auto-generate the project/code.However, the default linker script is mis-configured.indeed, the _estack variable is set to 0x2003FFFF instead of 0x20030000.The first address is wrong for 2 reasons:It's odd. It should be 0x20040000;The range [0x20030000, 0x2003FFFF] is accessible only by the 2nd core (M0) and not by the 1st one (M4).For these reasons, the default project will trigger a Hardware Fault when compiled and executed.
Hello to everyone, I don't have a gateway but two B-L072Z-LRWAN1 kits. So I am trying to send a sensor data between these kits. ST has i-cube-lrwan library for kit but it is not compatible with CubeMX and very complex because of LoRaWAN. I have used ping-pong example but when try use ADC or I2C I have failed. Is there any way, library, use these kit only for LoRa communication compatible with CubeMX. Thanks for help.
Hi, I am developing software based on the l-CUBE LRWAN software and ran into some low power issues. I have a sensor connected to the USART2 and it is receiving data properly. The problem is that because i had to overwrite the void HAL_UART_MspInit(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) (located in vcom.c) function the device doesnt get into the lowpower mode. When the sensor is working the current consumption in lowpowermode is around 4.0mAWhen I dont overwrite the fuction (And thus dont have a working sensor) the current in LPM is around 4uA.
Hello,I'm a beginner with STM32CubeIDE environment and I'm having a lot of troubles trying to run Application examples download from the STM32Cube MCU Packages. What is the right way to import projects. As an example I'm trying to import the BLE_p2pServer_ota from the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.2.0 software package using "import" from CubeIDE. However after the project is imported I cannot build it.The target is not set automatically as should be. I suppose that examples are pre-configured for the target board, but it isn't.I have tried on Windows and Mac but I get the same issues. The process is not straightforward.Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
Hello, I bought the P-Nucleo-WB55 kit but I'm having problems running the examples provided.I have overwritten by mistake the demo firmware available in the P-Nucleo-68 and now I would like to download back the demo firmware again starting from the demo provided.By looking at the documentation here:https://www.st.com/content/ccc/resource/technical/document/user_manual/group1/85/77/14/6a/ef/77/48/3d/DM00598021/files/DM00598021.pdf/jcr:content/translations/en.DM00598021.pdfIt looks like the demo firmware for the nucleo-68 board should be the P2P_Server_ota. Right? However, after importing the project in STM32CubeIDE and I open it's properties I get the error I reported below. Why is the board target not selected? I took it from the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.2.0 repository directory. Can someone help me solving this issue? Thanks in advance.
Hi, i am trying to change the APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE in my bl072z board without success, the idea is to receive a downlink message and change this time remotely, i have tried this: (all this attempts are inside a callback function activated by a button interrupt so the code is executed just once)APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE = 20000; LoraStartTx( TX_ON_TIMER);APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE = 20000; TimerReset(&TxTimer); TimerSetValue( &TxTimer, APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE); OnTxTimerEvent( NULL ); but nothing works, the program just stop running and does not send data never again, i am just trying to emulate the original flow of the code because i know that function LoraStartTx( TX_ON_TIMER); is called at top of the code just once to load the APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE, then calls OnTxTimerEvent function which triggers the condition to send the data every APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE time, i dont know if is recommended to try change the time while the code is running but if someone has any idea would be helpful, i will continue ma
Is there anything to change in the firmware "STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.2.0"? If there, then where, what and how we need to change?I am using my laptop to configure using COM port for this device. So how can I get confirm that any data has been received as a downlink?I am able to send data to Loriot in class A, But not able to see any downlink data.Thank you.....
Hi,expert.I am a beginner who started using STM32WB.I am trying to download the wireless stack using STM32_ProgrammerCLI.exe and command prompt while reading UM2550.I understand that there are seven types of wireless stacks:・stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_fw.bin・stm32wb5x_BLE_HCILayer_fw.bin・stm32wb5x_Thread_FTD_fw.bin・stm32wb5x_Thread_MTD_fw.bin・stm32wb5x_BLE_Thread_fw.bin・stm32wb5x_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin・stm32wb5x_rfmonitor_phy802_15_4_fw.binFor example, if I want to do BLE, should I just download "stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_fw.bin"?Or do I need to download all of these?Thank you for your attention.

Hi Sir/Madam,The Sensor Capacitor (Cx) is not connected in the below mentioned. Can you please provide clarity on the Cx connection with MCU.While configuring the shielding in TSC using STM32CubeMX, it is asking to configure Cs(Sampling Capacitor) in the same group. In the above mentioned figure, i didn't find. If it is need to be connected, please provide a reference. Its really helps me a lotIs RsShield connected in parallel to the all the touch keys? Please find the STM32CubeMx image regarding 1st point. Thanks & Regards,

hello, Please be kind to me as I am new to this. I have a B-L072Z board.Use the End_Node program to communicate with the lora gateway, I found that the data transmission interval of the terminal is 10 seconds. I can reduce the time to 7 seconds by changing the value of "APP_TX_DUTYCYCLE". But I want to set the data transmission interval to less than 1 second,is that ok ? If so, how can I modify the End_Node program? Thank you very much!
Is this function related to UART communication ?What void " vcom_Init( void (*TxCb)(void) ) " do ?And what is the argument of this function ? thanks in advence
When I connect the two pads at the PCB, routing under the module, TCXO_VDD will have a voltage of 0.8, irrespective of whether PA12 is high or low. In fact, I have only found it by taking the cover of the module and find a capacitor pad where TXCO is connected. When set to high, the track voltage will spike for a few nanoseconds and then quiesce again to the 0.8 V level. I am trying to solve the situation by routing from outside the module, like we can find at the LRWAN1 development board. Will it be enough or is there some sort of a weird module quirk I have to consider? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I want to use i-cube lrwan stack for my hardware, I use stm32l151cb+sx1276. I have tried to use STM32L152RE-Nucleo and modify it. I did it for the microcontroller side and have modified pin and peripherals mapping. but I can't change radio expansion from sx1276mb1mas to sx1276mb1las. I want to have a US915 lorawan node. when I call join function, I don't see any radio signal transmitted from the radio. about the hardware I'm sure it's OK. because using other lorawan stack, it works fine.
Hi Sir/MadamIn MB1355 MCU supply domain schematics(above one) I didn't understand supply connections. If only 3V3 supply given which connections are not required in the schematics?
Hey,I'm trying to get a binary for the BLE OTA application, but if I compile the example BLE_Ota with SW4STM32 the binary is around 393.411 KB. STM32CubeWB 1.1.0 with Patch 1.1.1 was used. How can I get the same size and file type like the reference file? I can't find any other steps I need to do. Even the corresponding documents din't help.Kind regardsNyix
hello ! I just started develop with stm and my project which based on i-cube_lrwan/AT_Slave in i-cube_lrwan.zip.Today, however, the software is upgraded from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2.So I'm trying to find patch notes or changes to see if I can upgrade, but I can not find where the documentation is posted.how i can get it?
The mesh library for the STM32WB55 only seems to be compiled for the IAR compiler as of right now, and there also seems to be an older version of the BlueNRG mesh library available for keil. These compilers are both very expensive and do not work under linux. Are there any plans to release a gcc version or even the source? As it is, the library is unusable for me, which is not great when the device is marketed as mesh compatible.
Hi Sir,Initially, we chose the STM32WB55 (QFN48) it has only one group. Currently we required a slider (linear). So we are moving to the QFN68 package. In my case, i need six plus keys, So Can I avoid the shielding to get the 9 keys? One Shielding I/O is enough to all the keys? Thanks You
Hi Sir/Madam,In STM32CubeMX, the TSC in System core, we finding only group-2 with four I/Os. I am thinking that there must be group-1, group-3, group-4. So that we can implement TSC with more keys. please suggest me proper settings required to do this. Thanks & Regards
Hi Sir/Madam,Here are developing a PCB with touch interface. We found the schematic files in st.com website. In that schematic, touch interface is not implemented. Can you please share the suitable link or any reference files to understand the TSC connections, So that it will be very much helpful to complete my project.Thank You,
I have a STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.2.2 project in System Workbench. I opened/converted it with TrueStudio. I modified the code and successfully compiled and ran it.I followed the guide to Migration from TrueStudio to STM32CubeIDE and the conversion fails. The Original TrueStudio conversion appears to have left behind some System Workbench "AC6" artifacts in the .cproject and .project files. I edited these files and deleted these remanents but one of them still causes STM32CubeIDE to **** on the conversion.Aw nuts. Any ideas?
