Hi everybody)I have a problem with exiting after shutdown mode. Entering codeif( (LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_C1SB() == 0) || (LL_PWR_IsActiveFlag_C2SB() == 0) ) { /* Set the lowest low-power mode for CPU2: shutdown mode */ LL_C2_PWR_SetPowerMode(LL_PWR_MODE_SHUTDOWN); } HAL_RTCEx_BKUPWrite(&hrtc, 5, 0x0005); HAL_PWREx_ClearWakeupFlag(PWR_FLAG_WU); HAL_PWR_EnableWakeUpPin(PWR_WAKEUP_PIN1_LOW); HAL_SuspendTick(); HAL_PWREx_EnterSHUTDOWNMode();My board have a button in PA0 with external pullup resistor.When I press the button MCU exiting from shutdown mode, but my function if (__HAL_PWR_GET_FLAG(PWR_FLAG_WUF1)) ...return FALSE always. My starting code:int main(void) { /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* USER CODE BEGIN Init */ /* USER CODE END Init */ /
Hi,I am using STM32CubeIDE version: 1.3.1 to program the STM32WB50CGU5, but when connecting in debug mode, the program reports that the connected MCU is STM32WB55xx. So my project, based on STM32WB50xx is not working at all, but if I change the MCU with the STM32WB55xx everything works fine. So, the printed code on the MCU is reporting correctly STM32WB50CGU5, but it seems to not be that MCU, according with the IDE.Could you help me?You can find below the IDE's report.Lorenzo
Please kindly provide i had intreset to work on it.
I reopen this issue under the correct place with correct Topic as STM32WB !I comiled the BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS project example located at STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.3.0 (CubeMX 5.4) as CubeIDE (1.1.0) project, However the project start running then stucked inside the procedure osKernelStart(); seems, received an WWDG interrupt (see attached snapshot)although the WWDG compile flag is remarked /*#define HAL_WWDG_MODULE_ENABLED */Any Idea? Thanks In Advance,Micha
Hi, please I need the version 1.2.1 of I-CUBE-LRWAN, thanks
Hello! I can not send more that 3 bytes from client to server using the write characteristic(aci_gatt_write_without_resp) in BLE_p2p_client_app.c . When I change CharValueLetgh to something higher then 3 my board cannot notify anymore. How can I solve this issue?
In my recent received P-Nucleo-MB1355C board, it has FUS version FUSv0.5.3, which need to upgraded with newer version available in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.4.0. While trying to update with -fwupgrade command, getting error Error: Firmware not authentic! . looking for a prompt suggestion. I have attached my cmd window image for reference -
Hello everyone. I am debugging the STM32+SX1272 LORA wireless communication. Now I follow the sample code provided by ST company which download from the website. The sample code version is STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.3.1. Now I can transfer "ping" and "pong" between two modules using the sample code.As I understand, there is a buffer which size is 64 which is define to transfer data. It is defined below.#define BUFFER_SIZE 64 // Define the payload size hereuint16_t BufferSize = BUFFER_SIZE;uint8_t Buffer[BUFFER_SIZE];As I understand, in the main loop, when the state = RX the data transferred in is stored in the Buffer array and prepare the next frame data for the transmission. if (strncmp((const char *)Buffer, (const char *)PongMsg, 4) == 0) { TimerStop(&timerLed); &n
I am a newbie on Lora and recently I bought a P-Nucleo-LRWAN2 development kit to start my projects using Lora communication technology. As soon as I received the development boards I follow the instruction on the manual and I successfully connected the gateway and received the sensor data on the default cayenne application. I was using the TTN server. Those initial steps were very simple and clear. To make the things funnier, and as recommended, I downloaded the I-CUBE-LRWAN V1.3.1 package and followed the instructions on the read me file to upload to my sensor node the end node example on the I-CUBE-LRWAN V1.3.1 package. From this point on, my nightmares started.I followed the official documentation and I was expecting that this step to be smooth. However, my sensor node (NUCLEO-L073RZ + I-NUCLEO_LRWAN1) is not working and I am struggling to understand the architecture of this sensor node. Can anyone explain me the architecture of this node and how the NUCLEO board communicates with the
I have connected a peripheral to STM32WB via I2C,.The functions HAL_I2C_Mem_Write() and I2C, HAL_I2C_Mem_Read() are designed for upto 16 bit register address. (The function checks if MemAddSize is 8 bit or 16 bit).Do I have to rewrite the implementation or I can use HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_IT() for writing [send pointer to 32 bit address + 16 bit/32 bit data] and together HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_IT() (to write address) and HAL_I2C_Master_Receive_IT() (to get the data) to read data for reference: I2C functions available: http://www.disca.upv.es/aperles/arm_cortex_m3/llibre/st/STM32F439xx_User_Manual/group__i2c__exported__functions__group2.htmlThank you
When I load the handson_2 everything works fine. However when i open a new project and initialize it as a p2p server application - And follow the steps in handson_2 training video, I can get my nucleo to advertise just fine - however I cannot connect it, am I missing some call somewhere? I cross checked mostly every .c and .h in handson_2 and in other projects from the git repository but i can't find the missing piece.
Enable Ble Extended data packet(Send 251 Bytes in one Time) support.* Data of 249 bytes is send and receive successfully but data of 250 and 251 Bytes not send and receive.
Hi there!I've used STM32's for years, and am a huge fan. I now want to broaden my experience into LoRa (I have experience with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even ST's SPSGRF range). I saw at the start of the year there was some news about ST's own chip which has LoRa integrated. I'm also familiar with Semtech's SX1276 which is the jellybean LoRa chip.I want to get some dev kits from ST, several to simulate a "nodes" that will be reading sensors (e.g. temperature) and sending this data to a "base station" or "master", via LoRa. With the ability to scale (i.e. multiple nodes, not point to point comms). As a result, I came here asking guidance about which dev kit would be the best to buy - as there seems to be a lot available, and in particular I would love one that had an easy to use API/example/getting started guide. There are a few available from ST:B-L072Z-LRWAN1I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2P-NUCLEO-LRWAN3STEVAL-STRKT01If anyone could suggest which are the best to go for (for just a very basi
is there any documentation how to use the stm32wb55 in the stm32cubeIDE with STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.6.0?
Hi, I have been following the STM32WB workshop, however the material seems to not fit to the current FW anymore.I need to read a sensor that is connected via I2C and send the results via BLE.I can get the sensor readings and output them via UART but as soon as APPE_Init() is called, the output to UART does not work anymore. I assume it is a problem due to scheduling, however the schedule.h file referenced in the workshop videos seem to not exist anymore, so I am stuck here.Does anyone have a working current example of reading sensor values in parallel to running BLE services, or an updated info on how to use scheduling?
I am trying to start with stm32wle5j but got stuck with LPTIM irq. I configure it but it always send me Interrupts. I need irq with period 2sec I checked this post, but it didnt help me.https://community.st.com/s/question/0D50X00009XkYEiSAN/huge-repetitive-lptim-interruptsThis is my code where i configure LPTIM I setup RCC and enable LSE HAL_PWR_EnableBkUpAccess(); __HAL_RCC_LSE_CONFIG(RCC_LSE_ON); while (__HAL_RCC_GET_FLAG(RCC_FLAG_LSERDY) == 0U) ; // wait for it... __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_CLK_SLEEP_ENABLE(); // enable clock to LPTIM peripheral also in low power mode __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_FORCE_RESET(); __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_RELEASE_RESET(); // reset LPTIM interface __HAL_RCC_LPTIM1_CONFIG(RCC_CCIPR_LPTIM1SEL_0 | RCC_CCIPR_LPTIM1SEL_1); HAL_PWR_DisableBkUpAccess();Then i configure LPTIM interrupts with period 2 secNVIC_SetPriority(LPTIM1_IRQn, 30); NVIC_EnableIRQ(LPTIM1_IRQn); // enable update (overflow) interrupt LPTIM1->IER =
IDE support for BluenRG232 programming ishttps://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-bluenrg1-dk.htmlWhich other IDE gives support for Blue-nRG232 SOC programming? Can I use Cube ide or IAR platform or TrueStudio for programming the ST Blue nRG232?
HiWe try to enter a dedicated function in out firmware if no BLE stack is installed. Now we have a discussion how this can be done based on the option bytes. Our previously used approach was to check the SBRV value and test it against some expected values if only FUS is installed. But what are the expected SBRV values if only a FUS is installed? In my case I read an SBRV value without installed stack of 0x3d000. This gives a flash address of 0xF4000. Is this the expected value? How is this value related to the FUS install address mentioned in the stack release notes? The install address for this FUS is stated as 0x080EC000.Is there a better approach to check if a wireless stack is installed?Regards Adrian
HiI want to used STM32WB nucleo to program external custom board which has ST controller. I am able program the custom board using STM32L476 nucleo but facing issue with STM32WB nucleo. Please guide me for this.
I have been working through the STM32WB workshop (https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/learning/stm32-education/stm32-moocs/STM32WB_workshop_MOOC.html), which has mostly been excellent. Unfortunately, when I get to workshop 4 (How to modify BLE profile), the version of STM32_WPAN in the version of STM32CubeMX and the STM32WB libraries used in the demo are very different from the current version.I am using the STM32WB Cube_FW V1.5.0 In STM32CubeMX version 5.6.0 and the STm32CubeIDE version 1.3.0. The workshop uses Cube_FW V1.0.0.When I add a Custom Template for BLE, several new tabs are added which need completing., and I can find no details on how to complete these. I have had a go at adding the SHORTENED_LOCAL_NAME to the advertising elements, but the generated code has a "value_not_setted" entry, which causes the build to fail. Replacing this parameter with just a number (e.g. '0') allows the programme to build, but it does not work.Is there an update to this workshop anywher
I've been following the stm32wb workshop using the stm32cubeIDE and i been running in to some difficulties, due to all the documentation being out of date and also unable to run any of the examples on the cubeIDE, has anybody managed to create a project using a custom template?
Hi! I flashed my USB dongle with BLE_p2p_client application that I edited on my own. But I can not send more than 3 bytes using aci_gatt_write_without_resp in function tBleStatus Write_Char in the file p2p_client_app.c . Even if I increase CharValLenght to something higher nothing changes, only 3 bytes are received by server. Can someone please suggest me what to do?
Hi,As we are at the very beginning level of project, and exploring different BLE network topology.1st i would give an overview of the system that we are planning to implement. We have BLE devices / sensors (Appox 100 nos) which are fitted in small compartment (e.g 4 ft * 4ft size), along with a gateway, which contains BLE and wifi. Each BLE sensor sends chunk of data to gateway and gateway will send data to cloud so that it can be monitor or control through remote device. Our focus is on data exchange between BLE sensor and Gateway. Data exchange could happen 2 or 3 times in a day in normal condition or immediate update in case of emergency (e.g. A particular sensor crosses threshold value). So the questions are:-1) which network topology would be best suitable for such application ?2) If we go for broadcast / Scan response topology, would it work ?3) Is there any limitations on number of devices in broadcast / Scan response network topology ?4) As one central device can connect to multip
Has anyone been successful connecting the BlueNRG-2 SKD (IDB009V1) to either the BlueNRG ST-LINK UTLITIY or IAR 8.40? Both utilizes "CAN'T DETECT". The only tool that seems to detect the SDK is the cumbersome Flash Programmer.
