I've just received an email to tell me you missed my confirmation to attend the online workshop for new STM32 LoRa SoC. I don't know how it was on my SPAM folder. I'm still interested to join the online workshop, is it possible?

Due to my holidays last week, I missed to confirm the E-mail. Would this be possible to join? Still seats available?
I am using STM32WB55RG with SDK version 1.10.0. I want to create BLE mesh, which will contain nodes with sensors. But firstly, I need to create mesh with 2 nodes: first has sensor client model, second has sensor server model. The server should have publish periodically.I am using BLE_MeshLightingProvisioner example. Device with sensor client is also embedded provisioner. I make these changes in the following files:For sensor client device:mesh_cfg_usr.h - #define ENABLE_SENSOR_MODEL_CLIENT (1), #define NUMBER_OF_SENSOR 1sensor_cfg_usr.h - #define TOTAL_SENSORS_COUNT 1appli_config_client.c - #define DEFAULT_PUBLISH_PERIOD ((0x01 << 6) | 0x01)For sensor server device:mesh_cfg_usr.h - #define NUMBER_OF_SENSOR 1, #define ENABLE_SENSOR_PUBLICATION, #define ENABLE_SENSOR_MODEL_SERVER (1)sensor_cfg_usr.h - #define TOTAL_SENSORS_COUNT 1So, publish period for sensor server model should be 1 second. After build and creating mesh via the terminal (atep root, atep prvn-0) it
Just got this:However, as we did not receive your confirmation within 3 days, we have allocated your seat to another participant. How was I supposed to confirm?
I'm trying to import an example project for STM32WB using STM32CubeIDE V1.5.1 and got the following error:I tried doing package updates, uninstall and reinstall and everything I could think of but I wasn't able to figure out how to resolve this (tried googling/forum searching it but no luck). Following I report you the Package installed: How can I resolve this issue?
Like several other people, I missed the confirmation email that was sent - unfortunately I was on vacation on Friday, and the window to reply to the email included the weekend. I would still very much like to attend the course. Is there any way that I can still confirm and get a seat? Thanks in advance,Chris
Dear all, same as others I missed the window of opportunity to reply over the weekend, but still would like to take part in the workshop. If there's anything you can do, thanks!Best,T.Pirk
Due to to much emails, I overead the confirmation Mail with the Confirmation Button. Is there a chance to participate like I have confirmed correct? Thanks Martin
Hi,Like many others, I received an email stating that after not confirming my booking, my seat has been allocated to another participant. I had failed to notice the original email, as it had been marked as spam by my email filters... This is really unfortunate, as I had been really looking forward to the workshop. Any advice on how to still get in?
I'm confirming myattendance at IoT connectivity with STM32 LoRa-enabled SoC, from theory to practice - March 30.Regards,Ondrej
I have soldered up my first STM32WLE5CCU6 project board, and it buzzed out nicely before I gave it power. Now VDD is permanently shorted to ground...I'm happy to try again, but: what is the minimum number of pins/components that I need to connect just to boot the MCU? If I leave various peripherals (especially the RF stage!) unconnected - and don't activate them in the software - what is the minimum I can get away with? Thanks!
Hi,we've been developing with stm32wb55 for some time and found that some combinations of STOP2 and radio usage causes permanent damage to RX path.It looks like that: device announce stops at some point and power consumption raises(+10mA). After reset device starts announce again, but doesn't receive anything.Flashing TransparentVCP and checking RX with CubeMonitorRF shows RSSI -108dBmWiping flash and re-flashing radio and firmware doesn't help.Overall we've been following all application notes on power, radio, LSE/HSE. The only significant difference is antenna(we use IMD by Ethertronics/AVX 1001312) and software(we use STOP2 in between announces and prevent sleep only when connection arrives). Disabling STOP2 prevents damage, but completely unacceptable in terms of UX and power consumption.Since radio is a black box we are completely puzzled by this behavior and were unable to trace cause of damage. Is there any way to examine radio path internals (like on st25)? As I understand AT0,
Hi all, I'm reading some code and compiling some examples before receive NUCLEO-WL55JC board.Problems with this Example: [CM0PLUS]en.stm32cubewl\STM32Cube_FW_WL_V1.0.0\Projects\NUCLEO-WL55JC\Applications\LoRaWAN\LoRaWAN_End_Node_DualCoreFreeRTOSConsola Error:c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.2.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: LoRaWAN_End_Node_DualCoreFreeRTOS_CM0PLUS.elf section `.text' will not fit in region `ROM'c:\st\stm32cubeide_1.2.0\stm32cubeide\plugins\com.st.stm32cube.ide.mcu.externaltools.gnu-tools-for-stm32.7-2018-q2-update.win32_1.5.0.202011040924\tools\arm-none-eabi\bin\ld.exe: region `ROM' overflowed by 7360 bytescollect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit statusmake: *** [makefile:69: LoRaWAN_End_Node_DualCoreFreeRTOS_CM0PLUS.elf] Error 1"make -j4 all" terminated with exit code 2. Hi,Is there was a way to easily force a double bit ECC error to test recovery path?I'd like to verify that my application can recover from an unexpected watchdog / shutdown while a write to internal flash is in progress (i.e during an OTA update).I found this related thread about the STM32L4 and I see there is no way to test this path for the L4 series but was wondering if there's a way with the WB series. Thanks!
Currently I have decided to use the P-Nucleo WB55 pack that has Nucle 68 WB55RG and a dongle both of which have 2.4 Ghz radio transceivers to facilitate BLE interaction between the wearables. But the dongle does not have a PWM pin using which I could control a vibrating motor. I need suggestions to replace both of my micro-controllers.
I'm very new to this and it would be nice to have someone to talk to and exchange thoughts and get help to navigate STM32CubeWL LoRaWan/Sigfox examples.
Since Friday, generate an example from STM32CubeMX plugin is impossible for STM32WB series. Plugin is looking for a firmware package V1.11.0 which doesn't exist (no release in github repo, and newest tag is v1.10.1)does anyone already experienced this issue?ThanksPierre
I'm trying to make the "BLE_Beacon" example found inside the "STM32CubeWB" file work with the STM32CubeIDE and the P-NUCLEO WB55 board. The program compiles correctly but I can't see the beacons. Debugging I saw that when it arrives in the UTIL_SEQ_Run( UTIL_SEQ_DEFAULT ); I'm running STM32CubeIDE 1.5.1. I've used the nRF Connect and STBLE Toolbox but I don't see the beacon. Is there something I can try to get more visibility?
Hi I have two custom boards with stm32wb55 with a external crystal oscillator for the rtc. One device should be the master and the other is the slave. Master should set the rtc for the slave. Is it possible to sync them over ble with a precision of 1 ms? My other option is nfc, to exchange the data between them, to set the rtc. What is the best way to sync this two devices? Thanks
Hi,I am starting a project for the STM32WL using the SubGhz example application.I want to change the content of the subghz application to have my own behavior with my own frames sent and received. If I modify the file and I regenerate code using CubeMX, my functions are deleted and are replaced with the example application (Ping Pong). Is there a way to exclude some files from code generation ? Or maybe a way to tell CubeMX that my project is no longer just the PingPong example project ?Regards.
Hello. What is the value of the internal reference voltage of STM32WB55RGV6 MCU?Is it 1,212 V or 2,048 / 2,5 V?
