Hello, I am working with a 64 core board and STM32WB55RC microcontroller on a bachelor's thesis. The idea is to acquire data from an analog accelerometer (x,y,z) and two distance sensors also analog with differential values (ADC differential) and send them via BLE to a windows desktop application in Visual Studio (C#) for use and display in an existing GUI.Now step by step I configured a custom Wpan_32 network from STM32CubeMX by implementing two services (Accelerometer and Distance) in the form of notification with each having its own UUID. The device is visible from the bluetooth scan and the connection works. I also developed a piece of code in VisualStudio that can detect, connect, and find services of the bluetooth network. My question now is about where and how to implement the ADC conversion code for the data I acquire in the custom_app.c file to be able to send it constantly. I know that I have to use the function "Custom_Acceleration_data_Send_Notification(void); and Cust

Hi,I am using STM32WB5MMG MCU with the latest FUS V1.2.0 and BLE_Stack_full V1.13.1.I have my own custom BLE application. After enabling BLE fast advertisement using the API "Adv_Request(APP_BLE_FAST_ADV);", I cannot able to see the advertisement in ST BLE ToolBox Mobile App.I am getting "BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS" as a return value.Here I am attaching the code snippetvoid Adv_Request(APP_BLE_ConnStatus_t New_Status) { tBleStatus ret = BLE_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMS; uint16_t Min_Inter, Max_Inter; if (New_Status == APP_BLE_FAST_ADV) { Min_Inter = AdvIntervalMin; Max_Inter = AdvIntervalMax; } else { Min_Inter = CFG_LP_CONN_ADV_INTERVAL_MIN; Max_Inter = CFG_LP_CONN_ADV_INTERVAL_MAX; } // Stop the timer, it will be restarted for a new shot */ /* Commented out to prevent the adv from ever stopping LP 04_24_2020 */ //HW_TS_Stop(BleApplicationContext.Advertising_mgr_timer_Id); #if(CFG_DEBUG_APP_TRACE != 0) APP_DBG_MSG("First index in %d state \n", BleApplicationC
Using STM32WB have both bootloader & application implemented. Whenever code is downloaded the application works fine advertises and performs intended function , however if application is put in debug it gets stuck & doesn't advertise . At this time PC points to some part of code in bootloader.
Hi in 2020 I bought P-NUCLEO-LRWAN2 and now I started programming. In none of the examples provided in the expansion pack, I can't get Nucleo-L073RZ + I-nucleo-lrwan1 sg-sm-42 to work as an end node. Any solution?
I have followed the MOOC - STM32WB workshop videos made for the STM32WB55 but I am not able to get BLE visibility in ST BLE Sensor app. I think I am not able to tune my HSE clock correctly.Please help me how to tune it for the custom made target boards?
I want to flash and use my STM32WB5MMG without soldering it onto a board, as I would like to use it standalone. I have managed to flash it using a J-Link interface (0x08000000) and the BLE stack full fw (0x080D0000), but I cannot see it advertising. The same firmware advertises properly when flashed into a STM32WB5MMG-DK.Are the VSS and VDD internally short circuited? i.e., would it be enough to just connect one (3 V and 0 V, respectively) or do all of them have to be connected? In sum, what is the simplest circuit schematic I could use to flash and use the STM32WB5MMG?Thanks in advance.
Hello,We are using STM32WB15CCY6TR in our design. From Datasheet page 1 says "Available integrated passive device (IPD) companion chip for optimized matching solution (MLPF-WB-01E3)". However, the MLPF-WB-01E3 datasheet does not mention STM32WB15..So, can we use MLPF-WB-01E3 with STM32WB15CCY or is there a better solution?Thank you.
The STM32WB examples only show up on the STM apps and not on the phone or PC Bluetooth scan lists. What determines how the BLE advertises to a public like list?
I want to know whether any option bytes should be set before doing global erase for STM32wb chip. After the initial 0x44 and 0xBB, the device doesnt respond to global erase command (0xFFFF).
Using an STM32WB5. Using the ADC for some slow periodic measurements. Its working fine. Then added in STOP0:LL_PWR_SetPowerMode( LL_PWR_MODE_STOP0 )The ADC does not recovered on STOP exit. Value of:hadc->Instance->ISRis causing a hang in:HAL_ADC_PollForConversion() in stm32wbxx_hal_adc.cValue is 0x03 whereas before STOP mode it was 0x0F.Tried to do aHAL_ADC_DeInit()Followed by:MX_ADC1_Init()either before going into STOP mode or after. Either way results in ISR goes to 0 and still hangs. Doing a Sleep,LL_LPM_EnableSleep()instead of a STOP and ISR value is good and no hangs.Any suggestions for getting STOPx to work with ADC?
I'm using the STACK "stm32wb5x_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin"on the STM32WB55 and in principle it works correctly.The problem is that after a few hours and after having been working correctly it seems that the cortex-M0 does not answer to the cortex M4 and I get blocked.The only way to make it work again is turning off and on the STM32WB55.I attach some code where you can see that when doing the RESET the return is MAC_ERROR instead of MAC_SUCCESS.When this error occurs I have tried to execute the functions:HAL_Init();Tune_HSE();SystemClock_Config();But it is still blocked. What can I do in this situation to unblock and start working without turning off and on the microcontroller?
In the wiki ( https://wiki.st.com/stm32mcu/wiki/Connectivity:STM32WB_FUS ), it is said:Interfaces that can be used to communicate with FUS are:System bootloader (USB DFU and USART): provides ready-to-use commandsSWD (FUS_Opeartor): provided by ST inside the STM32CubeProgrammer tool and offers ready-to-use commands.Userapplication on CM4: can be developed by the user based on STM32WB CubeFW examples (and in the future using Open Bootloader integrating FUS_Operator)Does the example that shows how to access FUS from user application actually exist ? I did not see any such example in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.13.0. or its patches (up to 1.13.3).I want to find a way to update the wireless stack in the field (no SWD, USB or UART, only our own bootloader with access to a user-accessible SD card).Best,Nicolas
Hi everybody,I want to design a custom PB for the STM32WB10 with the PCB antenna design from AN5129. As described in the document there is a keep out area for the antenna where no GND plane should be placed. My question about this:If I keep this space free for the antenna, can I place components with a GND plane outside without having a cut in PCB? Or is there any interference if I do this?The picture shows my antenna with keep out area and I want to place something left and right to this area.
I am currently working with the STM32WBMMG discovery board.Initially, I powered the board through USB STLink(CN11), and was able to download the p2pserver program. Everything works perfectly. But if I power this board using an external power 3.3V as the red box shows. I am no longer able to find the Bluetooth signal. I am sure the external power can provide enough current. Could someone please help me understand why? Thank you.
Hi, I am using VREF to calculating VDD. VDD = 3.3V but VREF = 3.0V. What wrong? (I use __LL_ADC_CALC_VREFANALOG_VOLTAGE() macro helper to calculate Vref). Does anyone have any tips what the issue might be? Thank.

I can not find an Resource that describes the funktion of the RF Wakeup. Im using an STM32Wb5m, so a dual-core with Application and Network core. In my understanding the "RF Wakeup" is used to wakeup the network core if an signal is coming from the radio - but im not using any Power management options, so the network core should run always and should not need any wakeup. What am I missing or for what is the "RF Wakeup" clock necessary?I configure it in my example to use the BLE radio. Without this RCC Config the radio does not work. RCC_PeriphCLKInitTypeDef PeriphClkInitStruct = {0}; PeriphClkInitStruct.PeriphClockSelection = RCC_PERIPHCLK_RFWAKEUP; PeriphClkInitStruct.RFWakeUpClockSelection = RCC_RFWKPCLKSOURCE_LSE; if (HAL_RCCEx_PeriphCLKConfig(&PeriphClkInitStruct) != HAL_OK) { ret = UTILS_ERR; }
I have congigured it as picture, when i use dfu mode.I can't find usb port. When i use usb dongle, I can download well by dfu mode.
Not sure if this is the right place to post about CubeMX issues, but I'm having issues replicating the STM32WL55JC1 PingPong example. What I'm doing is trying to mimic every setting that exists in the example project (because it works), but some options are not actually changeable for me.First example is here:https://i.gyazo.com/46cebf0b8e0474d6480bd82d7e154085.pngOn the right, all visibility boxes are unchecked. But in the project I'm trying to recreate the example in, I can't uncheck any of the visibility (static) boxes. It just won't let me:https://i.gyazo.com/fdbf32a95e3c9bc8f0c5031f6c70749d.pngSecond thing is in my new project, cubemx refuses to generate any bsp files. So while in the example project I have the proper BSP files:https://i.gyazo.com/935b6558b46ce70fcf1bc5664b50d254.pngMy new project doesn't have anything:https://i.gyazo.com/8262c8d5b3e15d0a99f31d7d17be4b09.png(Notice the lack of a BSP folder)Both projects also match the SubGHz_Phy middleware section exactly:https://
Hi guys, I have any questions about OTA BLE using STM32WB.I didn't understand this area circled in red (vídeo: "STM32WB Getting Started Series: Part 7, Over-the-Air (OTA)"):1) This space of memory is used to store the new user application or new ble stack or new FUS, right? But, if the new user application has a big memory, what will happen?2) When the update happens, is the new application placed in this area circled in red and then the old application memory is deleted and then the new application is placed in memory space 0x08007000?3) Can I change the position 0x08007000? (I have the application that has 600Kb of memory and I think that It's needs to increase the memory space). 4) As I need to increase the memory, I will have to change the Magic Keyword to another memory location, is this possible?5) What will happen to the free memory (circled in red) if I change the position of the magic keyword?
