Hi Team,We are using the I2C Bus to read the Eeprom Data. We configured with 100Khz speed with DMA to transfer the data. After initialization of I2C and DMA it is working fine and able to Read and write the data with different speeds. If we read the data at run time, we are getting different data, without any Error in communication. We are unable to Figure out the root cause. We are suspecting the DMA communication only. Same DMA channel no one is using in the code. Can anyone guide us what is the root cause for this one.Regards,Srinivas
In UM2804 (STM32WB series BLE low level driver), references are made to Timestamp position in Action Tag field of Action Packets. Are these Timestamp available for the user ?Another question concerning the Action Packet : what is the minimum programmable value of WakeupTime in a Timer wakeup scenario (ie not back-to-back time) ?A third question concerning the Action Tag field : PLL_TRIG is defined in software stack, but not documented in UM2804 : when does the user have to use radio PLL calibration ?
Hi support, I'm working with STM32WB5MM, the application is a ble application with freertos. I have this issue, sometimes at the boot the MX_APPE_Init() fails. In the details, the fuction APP_BLE_Init( void ) isn't executed because the function APPE_SysUserEvtRx() is never called. I try without success to:1) Increase the minimun stack size (setting to 0x1000) and minimum heap size (setting to 0x400)2) Increase the priority of the following interrupt: IPCC RX, IPCC TXI attach the code of the main function:int main(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN 1 */ /** * The OPTVERR flag is wrongly set at power on * It shall be cleared before using any HAL_FLASH_***() api */ __HAL_FLASH_CLEAR_FLAG(FLASH_FLAG_OPTVERR); /* USER CODE END 1 */ /* MCU Configuration--------------------------------------------------------*/ /* Reset of all peripherals, Initializes the Flash interface and the Systick. */ HAL_Init(); /* Con
Specifically I need to be able to set continuous transmission at full power using each end of the band. I also need to perform immunity tests, but I don't know how to get information out of the device at a suitable rate, short of having a physical cable on a UART, which would mess with the normal configuration, affecting EMC behaviour. Has anyone done this before?
Hi,I want to enable the SYSCGF in STM32WB55RGV6 , but when ı look the reference manuel; it says that SYSCFG is on the APB2 bus however when look the APB2ENR register there is nothing about SYSCFG . What should ı do to enable SYSCFG?
Hello.I have a STM32WLE5LB that has both RF LP and RF HP but leaving the settings as default in DR0 the device consume up to 80mA . That means that only the RF HP is used. How change this ?Also my gateway : Kerlink Fetmocell seems to don't have ADR settings (like TTN to change the config ) so the device at -107dBm always stays at DR0 so there is a way to change this in the chip or not ?Thanks

When I configure SPI2 in STM32CubeMX, I see the following:Here, I'm set up as a full-duplex SPI master, the prescaler is set to 8 and underneath the prescaler specification, it computes the baud rate to be 2 MBits/s. I've also observed that this value does not change with processor clock frequency so the tool must be assuming that the input clock is from the SPI2S2 clock multiplexor. This is consistent with what I see in STM32CubeMX because if I vary this clock with the PLL, the baud rate tracks this frequency. SPI1 works as expectedI ran some code that performs SPI transactions and observed the following on the logic analyzer:Clearly, the SPI baud rate is 4 MBits/s and not the 2 MBits/s as computed by the tool. From this, I conclude that the clock source for SPI is actually PCLK1 and not the output of the SPI2S2 clock multiplexor. I think that that clock is only used in I2S mode (which I've never used) which is suggested by the reference manual in section 7.4.29 for bits 9:8:"This bit
Hi, I trying to debug on nucleo-WL55 with serial wire debug via SWO. I have enable "Serial Wire Viewer (SWV)" in debug config, and add SWV ITM Data console (Config 0).Even add this code : int _write(int file, char *ptr, int len) { /* Implement your write code here, this is used by puts and printf for example */ int i=0; for(i=0 ; i<len ; i++) ITM_SendChar((*ptr++)); return len; }With this line : printf("HelloWorld");Did you know why it doesn't work? Is that possible to have serial wire on WL-55 ? I have all jumper on JP8 as we receive the nucleo-WL55.My config : Thanks
Hello, I'm Using the STM32WLE5JB with STMCubeWL , and i'm wondering how i need to confirgure the .ioc and writing the code to have a arduino style ADC.Without DMA i want to read only the channel that i want to read and not all in one time.I tried some tutorials on internet but none of one was succesful. Thanks
Hi there, I have tried BLE_HeartRate_ota and it works. Yet, when I integrate OTA to my own applicaiton (by uploading BLE_Ota_reference.hex to 0x08000000 first)and try to update the firmware via ST BLE sensor app, the STM_OTA service cannot be connected and the app shows that node cannot be found. Only my application is advertising. My application starts at 08007000 and I have updated the linker file(you can find it in the attachment). "BLE_CFG_OTA_REBOOT_CHAR" is set to 1 (from ble.config.h) and "SCB->VTOR = VECT_TAB_OFFSET" is removed (from system_stm32wbxx.c). The magic word can be found in app_ble.c(see below). I am using STM32cubeIDE and STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0. I have no idea what to do so that my OTA application can work. Thank you for any suggestion!Cheers,Mo
Similar to this post - https://community.st.com/s/feed/0D53W00001nnAMrSAM?t=1670943529113.I believe different values is needed for:CFG_BLE_ATT_VALUE_ARRAY_SIZE = XCFG_BLE_NUM_GATT_ATTRIBUTES = XCFG_BLE_NUM_GATT_SERVICES = XHas anyone managed to get these values for the WB10

Dear All,I have managed to get the LoRaWAN_end_Node_DualCoreFreeRTOS sample working and now I am trying to get this sample to perform a continuous wave.I know that I need to use the mailbox system in order to send the proper settings and commands, but I am a bit lost in the details of how to create and propagate this message.I am currently using STM32Cube FW_WLv1.1.0 and it would be too hard to upgrade at this point. Thanks a lot in advance
Hi,I want to know the difference between EXTI PR1 and EXTI PR2 registers in stm32wb55xx.
We are using an STM32WL55 (NUCLEO-WL55JC2) and don't understand RCC_BDCR_RTCEN. Our system is configured to be woken up from Stop 1 Mode via RTC wake-up, clocked by LSE. This works, but we wonder about a detail.According to RM0453, RCC_BDCR_RTCEN is "RTC kernel clock enable". In the RTC block diagram, Figure 274, this seems to be rtc_ker_ck, and also named RTCCLK in that document. As this seems to be the main clock for the RTC clock domain, the RTC should not work if this clock is not enabled. However, if we comment out RCC_BDCR_RTCEN and POR the device, the RTC wakeup works like... a clockwork. As our software does not use any 3rd party code it was easy to check that nobody touches this bit. How can it work without it? What else does that bit do?
Hello,I am currently using STM32WB55 with QSPI external flash.Currently, the plan is to use it without Bluetooth, for now.I am able to write and read the flash in the program. The plan:Record for 24 hours with DMA from sensors to flash.Upload another program to transfer the data via serial (or with some conditional loop). The question:Is there a better way of doing this?I only need to save the data to the flash and then download them to a PC, can anyone point me to an example or tutorial for a similar case?Best regards,A.S.
STM32u585I and STM32WB5MMI'm struggling programming the bluetooth module of the U585I board.Stlink is connected in CN5, board is powered with CN8, but how to program the stm32wb (the Bluetooth module). With the CubeProgrammer, I can connect only to the stm32u575. Any help, pls?
The stm32wb55 writes data to the sd card in real time through FATFS, and the function f_write() will take tens of ms. I want to use two buffers, one buffer to store data, and one buffer to write data to and from the sd card (can this avoid the delay of f_write?). How should I write the program?
I have a custom board running the STM32WB55. My medium term goal is to use BLE to perform OTA updates for my firmware. I'm trying to leverage the BLE_p2pServer BLE_p2pServer_ota examples from the as a starting point, but I'm getting stuck at one of the first steps. To start with, I'm just trying to copy (clone) the BLE_p2pServer example from the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.15.0 repository into my own working directory. I started by generating a new project from the BLE_p2pServer .ioc file using CubeMX, and then I copied all the source code files from the STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.15.0 repository into my own file area. The new project compiled fine after I copied the stm32wbxx_nucleo.c file into my area. The problem is that the new app does not properly advertise.I checked the debugger text, and both applications have identical debugger output, ending with ==>> Success: Start Fast Advertisingbut the copied version of the project keeps the green LED2 on constantly rather than flashing it, and the b
Hello, I have a STM32WLE5JB, and a want to wakeup the chip from sleep mode to have multiple task. (Read a sensor every x sec) externally from the RTC that is tied to the lora TX delay. So i have the code that include the lora stack without any modifications. Just setting the LPTIM module (counter mode), enable the IRQ in NVIC tab and setting the clock source : LSE / LSI ( multiple tries ).But the chip is unable to wakeup with the callback function. (Tested with a LED).With the low power disabled the LPTIM work as intended.Below the zip containing the project. Thanks
On STM32WL is the rfbusys only available in polling mode or is there an interrupt linked to it ?
