i am using stm32h753zi and stmcubeide is 1.10.1 .the eth dx and rx is 30000000 and 30000200 and heap is 30044000 and rcc- bypass and used tim6  .i did it like the examples and i got no out and finally got a working code from claude, but it works only untill the power line is connected after i remove and reconnect it stopped working or works for one ping and stops .i thought may be it was beacause i used ramd2 and used ramd1 it also stops working when this stops.someone pls help me fix this i am willing to start from scratch

lwip i used static ip address and pc is in same subnet

Hi,

The issue could be either with the PHY setup, clocks, MPU config, linker/RAM placement of RX/TX descriptors, or something wrong with the LWIP configuration.

For this setup, it might be easier to start from a known working STM32H753 + CubeIDE Ethernet project instead.

You can try this example for STM32H753ZI on CubeIDE:

https://mongoose.ws/wizard/#/output?board=h753&ide=CubeIDE&rtos=baremetal&file=README.md

It is a CubeIDE project with Ethernet already configured, using the Mongoose networking library. That should give you a good starting point. I would advise to check for any differences between your project and this one regarding placement of ETH descriptors in RAM, MPU configurations, clocks and Ethernet pins.

To download the project, open the URL, go to the Settings tab, choose a directory in the Source Code Generator section, then click the blue Generate C/C++ code button in the upper-right corner.

Heads up: I am part of the Mongoose development team. Hope this helps.

Hello @4anu and welcome to the ST community,

1- In next time please use insert code button to share your code:

2- This post is related to Ethernet and LWIP nothing todo with CubeIDE, it shouldn’t be posted in STM32CubneIDE forum board but rather in STM32 Embedded software.

3- You can refer to the knowledge base article: How to create a project for STM32H7 with Ethernet and LwIP stack working

I’m editing your post and moving it.

Thank you for your understanding.

Which power line? Is this a Nucleo board connected via the ST-Link USB cable?

So does this mean that ping works immediately after flashing and running the program with the CubeIDE debugger, but after re-connect of the USB cable without the debugger ping won’t work anymore?

Ya after removing the stlink usb cable and reconnecting it stops working ,even when i flash again it works for a ping and then stops
