Hi guys , I'm currently engaged in a project that utilizes the STM32U599NIH microcontroller. Typically, I would initiate my work by searching for the project under the board selector tab, but in this case, the board is conspicuously absent. While I was able to locate the MCU under its respective tab, I'm unsure how to proceed with fundamental tasks such as UART string printing, which are generally straightforward when starting with a board example project. Could anyone provide some guidance on how to navigate this situation? Thank you.

Hello, I have a Bootloader and Application Project using STM32F030CCT6TR controller with 256KB flash.I am using 32KB for Bootloader starting from 0x8000000 address and Application of 220KB from 0x8008000 address. Can I generate a unified hex file to program controller with Both the Project with their respective addresses in STM32CubeIDE.

Hello, I want to perform data read/write operations using NFC. However, I have some concerns due to NFC standards. ST25DV64KC and PN5180 module both adhere to the ISO 15693 standard. Has anyone previously done read/write operations using the C language? Additionally, with the M24SR64-YMN6T IC, which module can I use for read/write operations? Can you assist?

Dear all,I try to read out ADC-Data, that is streamed from an external adc (AD7768) out to the uC. What I want to do is to more or less directly stream out the data via USB CDC.Therefore, I planned to use the DMA between the SPI and USB. However, this doesn't really work consistently. It seems that there may be a timing problem and after some seconds to minutes the transmission via USB stops. At the moment I only start the HAL_SPI_Receive_DMA before while(1) and again in the receive complete callback before the USB_CDC_TX is called. Another strange thing is, that as soon as I do something inside the USB_Transmit_complete function, for example a HAL_Delay, the code stops here again. Is there anything I missed? Is it even possible to use USB with DMA and SPI this way?I also tried it with Interrupts, in this case the Code doesn't stop. However, only as long as I don't put anything in the CDC_Transmit_Complete function.I am looking forward to your responses.Thank you a lot in advance Best r

Hi there,Looking into the TRM for the STM32L412xx board, I was wondering if I could use a DMA to copy constant data from the Flash to SRAM. The system architecture block diagram connects the DMAs to Flash through the DCode path:However, while reading the document it is explicit mentioned this for the DMA bus:This bus connects the AHB master interface of the DMA to the BusMatrix. The targets of this bus are the SRAM1 and SRAM2, the AHB1 peripherals including the APB1 and APB2 peripherals, the AHB2 peripherals and the external memories through the QUADSPI.This got me confused. Can someone explain these details? Is it possible or not to read from Flash using the DMAs, and if not, why is the DMA seems to be connected to the embedded Flash through the DCode path?

I'm attempting to upgrade from ecosystem v2 to v4 and I've run into an issue where the USB OTG port no longer enumerates at boot time. Specifically, I no longer see any messages in dmesg regarding the dwc device, nor do I see anything in /sys/class/udc/. This is a regression from my v2 build where USB does work as expected.I am not using ST's Yocto build for my build, rather I have the defconfig and device trees build against the ST repositories directly (as originally demonstrated by Octavo's ubuntu build.)As I'm not seeing the dwc driver report anything in dmesg, I'm assuming it's some sort of defconfig or device tree settings issue rather than something in the clocks or handoff between the bootloaders and the secure peripheral firewall. Digging through the patch history, the change notes, the wiki, and the existing discovery kit builds/defconfigs/dt files hasn't yielded fruit. So; has anyone done the upgrade between releases and off the top of their head know what I'm missing? For com

Hi! What is the difference between the part numbers LSM6DSO16ISTR and LSM6DSO16ISNTR? I'm guessing that the one with "N" is able to use the libraries generated by NanoEdge AI Studio, but I can't find a way to confirm this. If that's the case, why can't I see LSM6DSOIS in NanoEdge AI Studio on "Target selection" in "Project settings"? If I can somehow use NanoEdge generated libraries on LS6DSO16IS, can I embed an n-class classification model in it? I'm asking this because I've bought an ISM330IS and then found out that I can only embed anomaly detection models in it. Thank you.

Hi amazing community.I am working with the following mcu STm32F103Since in the design of our board we didn't insert any real eeprom for saving some data we decided to use a emulation tecnique   provided from ST Here below it is reported the header file/********************************************************************************* @file EEPROM_Emulation/inc/eeprom.h* @author MCD Application Team* @version V3.1.0* @date 07/27/2009* @brief This file contains all the functions prototypes for the EEPROM* emulation firmware library.******************************************************************************We decided to save 50 kbyte of data for a log.. The question is the following. Do you have an idea about how many times we can write data in the flash ? Is there a maximun numer ? If yes can you provide this number or tell me where to find it ?  Thanks a lot

I'm using a CR95HF NFC reader (a Mickroe RFID Click) using the UART port. I'm using ISO 15693 to communicate with my tag. I'm issuing the following commands (I know it looks like I'm using the eval board, but I'm actually using my own Python program:REM Check for communications>>> Idn 0<<< 00 0F 4E 46 43 20 46 53 32 4A 41 53 54 34 00 2A CEREM Set for ISO 15693, high-speed (26 kbps), single sideband, and 100% modulation>>> ProtocolSelect 01 09<<< 00 00REM Set the eval board gain to 32 dB>>> WriteRegister 68 00 01<<< 00 00>>> WriteRegister 68 01 01 D0<<< 00 00REM Read it back>>> WriteRegister 68 00 01<<< 00 00>>> ReadRegister 69 01 00<<< 00 01 D0REM Send an Identify command>>> SendRecv 26 01 00<<< 80 0D 00 00 02 28 E0 6D 58 01 04 E0 D0 60 00I'm having difficulty figuring out the response. The 0x80 means there was no error, and there are 13 bytes in the response. T

Having doing a workshop regarding OpenST linux boot customisation (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqGA5Krk0mU), I stumbled on a problem with a mass storage mount. Doing "ums 0 mmc 0" in uboot gives me partitions within an sdcard but only to see them as read only, unable to be mounted.Mounting sdb1 via terminal gave me error of "wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1, missing codepage or helper program or other error".St link is working, only problem is with usb download gadget.Unfortunately I am a beginner within the stm ecosystem so any help is greatly appreciated.Host is Macos Ventura 13.6, virtual virtualbox 7.0.6 as sudo (because of a problem with VERR_SHARING_VIOLATION in usb in regards to st link)

Dear allSituation 1:I use Nucleo-F413ZH with AMC1306EVM (PA8 DFSDM_CKOUT, PB1 DFSDM1_DATIN0)Result: DFSDM is working fine with DMA. In this situation I use mode PDM/SPI input from CH0 and internal clock.See code details in files with ending dfsdm_clk.cin main.c is this call:if(HAL_OK != HAL_DFSDM_FilterRegularStart_DMA(&hdfsdm1_filter0, Dfsdm1Filter0RecBuff, 16)){Error_Handler();}Situation 2:I have my own hardware with STM32F413 with several AMC1303E2510D. The AMC1303E2510D works in manchester format output. The only difference to situation 1 is: I change mode to Manchester input from ch0 (PA8 not connected, PB1 DFSDM1_DATIN0)See code details in files with ending dfsdm_clk.cin main.c is this call:if(HAL_OK != HAL_DFSDM_FilterRegularStart_DMA(&hdfsdm1_filter0, Dfsdm1Filter0RecBuff, 16)){Error_Handler();}Result:I don't have any DMA DFSDM1_FLT0 interrupt. No signal received. Even not in the Registers of DFSDM and Filter 0.Is there anything or any bit I have to check?

I am using a I3G4250 on a custom PCB over I2C. When you first take data from it on restart it works but then after less than a second, it stops getting new data. It receives data exactly 25 times before stopping and sometimes receives about the same amount of packets more than 1 minute after.Any help is appreciated,Delta Space Technologies

This used to be possible.

I am using STM32CubeIDE 1.13.2 with STM32CubeMX 6.9.2-RC4.  It is an STM32F746 processor.  I'm using STM32Cube_FW_F7_V1.17.1 libraries.  I'm using Azure RTOS and selected TIM12 for the HAL tick time base. This is a side issue.  When TIM12 was selected, the TIM12 IRQ priority is set to 15 in the NVIC settings. I found Azure to mess with how often the TIM12 period expired interrupt would actually occur.  While trying to figure that out, I discovered the other issue discussed next.  That issue was needing to set the interrupt priority high enough it always happened. I set it to 0 and that made the HAL timer tick work properly.  Why isn't this automatic or at least flagged when a TIM is used?I'm also using the Register Callback option for my code. This is in CubeMX, project manager, 'Advanced Settings' on the column, TIM set to enable. I was curious if the HAL timer would adapt. This is the generated code in stm32f7xx_hal_timebase_tim.c.  The function

Hello, I used BOOT0 and BOOT1 to reboot in System Memory in order to use the embedded bootloader. I wanted to use the Get Version Command (i saw it in AN3155). I first sent 0x7F to initialize the communication with the bootloader. Then, i sent 0x01 and 0xFE. And there is what i receive : First ACK is responding to 0x7F, the second one to 0x01 + 0xFE.Then i'm supposed to get the version (0x31 = 3.1) And then 2 options bytes 0x00. As you can see, i can have only one, the second one is 0x01 finishing by an ACK. And there i've got 0x96 and 0xFF. I don't really understand, did i miss something ? There is the sequence of the Get Version Command from device side :  Thanks.Regard,Cyril Campanella.

Hello,I have downloaded the latest version,4.22.1 of Touch GFX and selected the Button Example. When I tried to create the project Touch GFX prompted  "Object reference not set to an instance of an object error"Please see the log file attached. Mainly it gives the"`encode': U+0131 to IBM437 in conversion from UTF-16LE to UTF-8 to IBM437 (Encoding::UndefinedConversionError)"  Actually this error was the reason why I switched from an older version to the latest version to get rid of it.However in the older version I was able to create the project but not able to run the simulator. Is something wrong with my PC and Windows 10 installation? Windows 10 is in English by the way.I will appreciate if you could help as I will start to design a UI for an STMH7 custom board. Thanks,Kutlu

I can configurate the touchGFX configurator with the stm32f746, i can open the .part and designer some figures and bottoms, these yes appears in the LCD, i use the hardware stm32f746 discoveryboard. But i no can active the function of the touch, have activate the I2C3 with 100khz, standard mode, as examples use the GFX Designer, but i no find put the FT5336  driver, or how i can configurete o call a these file autmatically ? i no understad how active the touch controller,

Hi,I would use the STM32 Crypto Library. I have the 4.0.1 version.I just compiled and run the RSA\PKCS1v1.5_SignVerify example on my L4 micro and it is successful. Then, I generated with openssl a new 1024 key pair and signed a custom message. Then I copied private exponent, modulus and messagge arrays on firmware but signature is different. I checked also if SHA-1 hashes are equals, and they are. So, different behaviour in signature function. Where am I wrong?Thank you

Hi,I am sending/receiving data using UART between STM32G4 board and other board. While I am sending the data I am adding the CRC and transmitting it through UART to other board. While receiving how do I check the CRC correct or not.For Eg: From other board to my STM32G4 board I recivedata frame is as belowheader Length Command Data CRC EOF 0x320x05 0x17 0x00/0x01/0x02 0x89 how do I check the CRC is correct or not in the coding?Do I need to calculate crc for all 3 possible data values and compare the possible crc with received crc?is this correct way. Can anyone suggest how to check the CRC.Thanks

I'm configuring STM32H735VGH MCU  for communicating by USB_OTG full speed, Device mode and want to power it by VBUS.Suggest me best whether power distribution switch is required or not ?

I am setting up I2C communication between a master board (STM32H753I-EVAL2) and a slave board (NUCLEO-H753ZI). At the master board side, I use "HAL_I2C_Master_Seq_Transmit_IT(&hi2c1, 96<<1, (uint8_t*)gTxBuffer, 4, I2C_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAME)" to start the transmit, and set up "HAL_I2C_MasterTxCpltCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef *I2cHandle)" to handle transmit complete interrupt. At the slave board side, I use "HAL_I2C_Slave_Seq_Transmit_IT(&hi2c2, (uint8_t*) gTxBuffer, 4, I2C_FIRST_AND_LAST_FRAME)" to set up the receive interrupt as soon as "HAL_I2C_AddrCallback" ISR handle is called. The problem is "HAL_I2C_SlaveRxCpltCallback" is not called. At the master board side, "HAL_I2C_MasterTxCpltCallback(I2C_HandleTypeDef *I2cHandle)" is called once the 4 bytes transmit completes. But the "HAL_I2C_SlaveRxCpltCallback" never gets called at the slave board. I step into the HAL code, found out that when "I2C_ITSlaveCplt" is called, I2C state is still HAL_I2C_STATE_BUS

I am Using ST25DV04KC-IE8C3 In My Project as NFC Tags and Readers as well as Energy Harvesting. In Our Project, we are using  STM32L4A6VGT6 as the main MCU so, can we use energy harvesting and operate STM32L4A6VGT6 with other peripherals like reading a External flash, etc ???

Hi, I tried on Window and Ubuntu, both compile give me error : error: unknown type name 'caddr_t'Any config in the IDE that fix that error?

Hi all, I have encountered a problem where the debug would stop working as soon as the program hits the line where TIM15's update interrupt is enabled. From there the program appears to be still running but would not stop at any breakpoints and live expressions would show zeros and blanks as well. The line(s) after which debug would stop working: LL_TIM_EnableIT_UPDATE(TIM15); //Debug stops working after this line LL_TIM_EnableCounter(TIM15); TIM15 is set to have a period of around 7.2kHz, with initialization code as below:  LL_TIM_Init(TIM15, &PHtimer); //LL_TIM_DisableARRPreload(TIM15); LL_TIM_SetOnePulseMode(TIM15, LL_TIM_ONEPULSEMODE_REPETITIVE); LL_TIM_SetUpdateSource(TIM15, LL_TIM_UPDATESOURCE_COUNTER); NVIC_EnableIRQ(TIM1_BRK_TIM15_IRQn);  Please let me know of your insights on why this problem would occur, thank you!Zhi
