Solved

I have succesfully implemented my own BLE advertisement (LEGACY) using the STM32WB55 MCU.I have attached my code below. In a nutshell I have created three timers and two tasks. When the Heartbeat timer expires it calls the Heartbeat function:This then sets a tasks:This then runs the Advertisement functionBasically everything works as expected the timers fire in the defined times set, the LEDs blink as defined, the advertisements go of as expected as well. However the ISSUE :(When I set the CFG_LPM_SUPPORTED to 1 the problems come upFirstly the timers seems to be functional. However the LD2 (Green LED) which comes on when the radio activity event is called does not gets called. Because the LD2 never comes on. This is found here in the SVCCTL_UserEvtFlowStatus_t SVCCTL_App_Notification(void *p_Pckt) function:The only thing that sorts of solves my issues is by adding a delay in thestatic void APPE_SysEvtReadyProcessing(void * pPayload). Please note if I change CFG_LPM_SUPPORTED back

hi 1. on AEK-AUDC1D9031 there is SPC582B60E1 MCU with 1 Mb flash.2. i want to more wav files to play. but SPC582B60E1 is has only 1MB.3. so that i want to know how to integrate the extra memory to the  AEK-AUDC1D9031 board.4. how to connect external memory and flash that memory and how to PLAY sound files with respective to the external memory.

HI, I am currently doing a project with the B-G431B-ESC1. I am trying to control a motor with the B-G431B-ESC1. I already have profil my motor with the motor profiler software. I am able to control my motor with the motor pilot software. Now, I am trying to control my motor with an external PWM input. I send a PWM signal at 490Hz with duty cycle value between 1060us and 1860us with a ESP32 (the signal is corect, i have verify with an oscilloscope). The B-G431B-ESC1 detect the PWM and beeping when i switch off the signal. However, I am not able to control the motor with the PWM. My motor start running at constant speed doesn't matter the duty cycle value. Thanks.

Looking at AN5478 implies that the entire line of STM32MP13x has a DCMIPP interface. However for STM32MP131 DCMIPP is not mentioned in the datasheet.Does the STM32MP131 have a DCMIPP interface? If so, are the pins and the functionality matching that on the one on the STM32MP135?Thanks.

I added a custom REG in Motor Pilot and edited the MC_FOC_SDK.qml file, which allows usage, but I can only input integers, not floating-point data. Hello,We are trying to use MTU larger than 24X bytes. The characteristic size set to 483 bytes (CFG_BLE_MAX_ATT_MTU).We tried to use aci_gatt_update_char_value_ext to set the value (as the HCI layer is limited to 255 bytes transfer).aci_gatt_update_char_value_ext called twice (for both MPSs) , first part with 0 offset, and 2nd with 240.First, Update_Type=GATT_CHAR_UPDATE_LOCAL_ONLY;  2nd call with GATT_CHAR_UPDATE_SEND_NOTIFICATION.What happens is that random? number of bytes is sent (80). If we always use GATT_CHAR_UPDATE_SEND_NOTIFICATION proper 480 bytes are sent, but twice (for both offset updates) ... Thanks in advance

Hello, I'm using the nucleo-h743zi2 board.I cannot select LSE in my clock configuration. My board is currently in the state described in the following guide. Does anyone know the reason? Thank you in advance for any advice you can provide.

Hello everyone,   I'm trying to use MPU6050, HMC5883L and MS5611 all together in a project with an STM32F446RE. The problem is, while every components all work fine alone, when is use MPU6050 and HMC5883L together, it doesn't work. By not working, I'm meaning that the datas collected are all wrong. What's also weird is that : MPU6050 and MS5611 work fine together, same for HMC5883L and MS5611. So let's focus on MPU6050 and HMC5883L only I guess...   For the connections I just did that : So in my case, I connect the two sensors to the same SCL and SDA. Which should work, but I suspect that the problem might come from this connection. Indeed, even thought I'm assuming the right addresses are written in the code, could it be possible that troughout I2C, parts of the data are overwritten ? If so, what can I do ?     If you have any other ideas of where the problem could be, feel free to share it ^^   I attached all the code i use.  Thanks for your help ! &nbs

Hi I am currently working on a project using stwlc38.I am using it in conjunction with a power management IC, MAX17330.The circuit is simple, VOUT and system power is connected and normally I use it to discharge the battery which is connected to MAX17330 ic, but when the stwlc38 chip detects the wireless charging and sends the output to VOUT, MAX17330 ic receives the output and charges the battery. There is a problem in this part When the system voltage connected to the VOUT pin is 3.05V or less, it recognizes that it is charging well. When the voltage is higher than 3.05V, it does not recognize that it is connected to TX (op mode is fixed to 1).Do you know of any settings or workarounds related to this?

Hello, I am trying to get gesture detection (swipe UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) with the VL53L8CX working on an STM32U575 running an RTOS.  I currently have a X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 plugged into a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q board running Segger embOS in a C++ project.  I have been able to successfully configure and collect ranging data from the ToF sensor by extracting and modifying the example code in en.STSW-IMG040.zip\VL53L8CX_ULD_driver_1.2.1\Examples\ and using HAL_I2C_Mem_Write() and HAL_I2C_Mem_Read() for the implementation for the platform WrXxx() and RdXxx() functions. However, when I try to use the GestureKit ULD in en.STSW-IMG035_M33.zip and code extracted and modified from the example in en.STSW-IMG035_F401.zip\VL53L5_GestureKit_ULD_1.5.0\Example\Gesture\gestures_example.c:gesture_library_init_configure() fails because GW_set_frequency() fails with error -6, indicating that the frequency is invalid. The supplied frequency is the default of 20.0 (calculated from 1000.0/Params.RangingPeriod

I have a signal biased around the VREF output (2.048V) of an STM32G4. I have a comparator (COMP7) peripheral configured to compare this signal to VREF and it fails. If I set the second input of the comparator to DAC2 and set the DAC2 output value to max (0xFFF), the comparison works. Both should have the same behavior, but using the VREF comparison directly doesn't work. What could I be doing wrong?

Hello,  As suggested in my last post here, I am trying to read the ID Value of a VL53L1X sensor. I get a read failure when I attempt to read the register. Strangely, I have slightly modified code that I am using to read the ID register of a VL53l0X which I am able to run successfully. Further, I know I do not have a hardware or wiring problem because I am able to use the sensor for ranging just fine. I have copied my basic ESP32 Arduino sketch below, any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance   #include <Wire.h> // Include Wire library for I2C communication // I2C address of the VL53L1X sensor (0x29) #define VL53L1X_ADDRESS 0x29 // Register addresses #define VL53L1X_IDENTIFICATION_MODEL_ID 0x010F // Model ID register (lower byte) #define VL53L1X_IDENTIFICATION_REVISION 0x0110 // Model revision register (upper byte) void setup() { Serial.begin(115200); Serial.println("Starting VL53L1X sensor test (I2C access)"); // Read ID registers directly

Hi,I'm relatively new to the STM32 world and I'm becoming frustrated that I can't make a simple UART work. No DMA, no interrupts just trying to send bytes out of the UART and then receive them. Here is my setup code:      void UART7_Init(void) { GPIO_InitTypeDef GPIO_InitStruct; HAL_Init(); /* Peripheral clock enable */ __HAL_RCC_UART7_CLK_ENABLE(); __HAL_RCC_GPIOF_CLK_ENABLE(); /**UART7 GPIO Configuration PF6 ------> UART7_RX PF7 ------> UART7_TX PF8 ------> UART7_RTS PF9 ------> UART7_CTS */ GPIO_InitStruct.Pin = U7_PAY_RX_SPI5_NSS_Pin|U7_PAY_TX_SPI5_SCK_Pin; GPIO_InitStruct.Mode = GPIO_MODE_AF_PP; GPIO_InitStruct.Pull = GPIO_NOPULL; GPIO_InitStruct.Speed = GPIO_SPEED_FREQ_VERY_HIGH; GPIO_InitStruct.Alternate = GPIO_AF7_UART7; HAL_GPIO_Init(GPIOF, &GPIO_InitStruct); huart7.Instance = UART7; huart7.Init.BaudRate = 115200; huart7.Init.WordLength = UART_WORDLENGTH_8B; huart7.Init.StopBits = UART_STOPBITS_1; hua

Hi,Starting a new project involving CANFD with the NUCLEO-H563ZI and NUCLEO-H753ZI boards, and am looking at how to get started quickly. Can anyone point me to a ready made shield with appropriate high speed CAN FD transceivers? Thanks,

Hello, I will use STM32C011F6U6TR in a project.Since I need to program with USART, I think I need to use the "boot from system memory" mode in BOOT mode, am I right? As written on the datasheet, there are 3 modes. When switching between these modes on Bluepill boards, there are 2 BOOT pins and we were selecting the mode by setting these pins to 0 and 1.There is 1 BOOT pin on this processor and it refers to something called "boot selector option bit". I don't understand what exactly is the boot selector pin and how to control it. The datasheet is also quite incomplete in this regard.

Hello all,I bought two NUCLEO-H753ZI to experiment the ADC.Used the CUBEMX inside the STM32CubeIDE to configure the ADC to do 4x oversample (ADC1 Oversampling Ratio = "Oversampling ratio 4x").Then generated the code, but it does not compile: ... hadc1.Init.LeftBitShift = ADC_LEFTBITSHIFT_NONE; hadc1.Init.OversamplingMode = ENABLE; hadc1.Init.Oversampling.Ratio = ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_4; hadc1.Init.Oversampling.RightBitShift = ADC_RIGHTBITSHIFT_NONE; ... The error is "... main.c:204:35: error: 'ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_4' undeclared ..."Investigating a little, I found that ADC3_OVERSAMPLING_RATIO_4 is declared in stm32h7xx_hal_adc.h, but only if ADC_VER_V5_V90 is defined (#if defined...) - which is not. With oversampling disabled in CubeMX, the compilation goes OK. I am new to stm32 and CubeMX. How can I solve my problem? Regards, linuxfan

Hi,When STWBC86 is operating fully independently without being interfaced with a host system, how can the GPIO be used to drive indicator LEDs to indicate charging status, fault etc? The datasheet shows how these can be programmed to inputs or outputs but how are the relevant functions assigned?Cheers

NIST Special Publication 800-121(https://tsapps.nist.gov/publication/get_pdf.cfm?pub_id=934038)recommends using BLE Security Mode 1 Level 4 (page v) which calls forElliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman encryption. Does the latest STM32 BLE stack for the STM32WB implement that?  If so, where is the API call to enforce it?   There are no obvious parameters in any of the security-related BLE functions that I can find.

I'm looking to use an STM32F407I for EtherNet/IP communication with some industrial motors and sensors.I cannot seem to find a library that would help me do that for the STM32F4.I found this, but I didn't really understand how to use the solution that's suggested Any help on finding a library would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there :waving_hand:I am quite new to the topic of developing BLE hardware. My goal of the current project is quite simple:I have a custom board featuring stm32wb55ceu6 and a ambient temperature/humidity sensor. All hooked up including the RF part with an impedance matching network to 50 ohms and an antenna for 2.4 GHz (BLE).Now I would like to read the sensor using i2c and get the values for temp and humidity every let's say 10 minutes. After getting the values I would like to just send out a ble advertisement containing the sensor data in bthome format (so that my home assistant can just read it). There should be nothing else involved. The board is just sending out once every 10 minutes and after sending it goes back to sleep. My question: can you maybe provide me a startingpoint where I can find information about BLE advertisement, etc.? I saw that there is a stm32wpan module but I am not sure if this is total overkill for this simple use case.I am a bit lost with this :(I was ins
