Hello ST Community,I am using a STEVAL-25R200A to do tests with the ST25TV02KC.I am trying to rfalST25xVPollerPresentPassword, with a pwdNumber of 0x00 to enter Configuration Session (As described in the nfc tag datasheet), But keep getting error 5, even though I am passing the default 32-bit password.I am using this function:ReturnCode ST25TAGS_TVC_OpenSecuritySession(const uint8_t * uid, ST25TAG_TVC_SecuritySession_t sessionType, const uint8_t * pPassword) { uint8_t pwdNumber; uint8_t pwdLengthInBytes = 4; ReturnCode errCode; uint8_t rxBuf[ 1 + 2 + 2 ]; /* Flags + Random Number Data + CRC */; uint16_t rcvLen; uint8_t updatedPassword[8]; switch (sessionType) { case CONFIGURATION_SECURITY_SESSION: pwdNumber = 0; break; case USER_AREA1_SECURITY_SESSION: pwdNumber = 1; break; case USER_AREA2_SECURITY_SESSION: pwdNumber = 2; break; case SINGLE_USER_AREA_SECURITY_SESSION: pwdLengthInBytes = 8; pwdNumber = 1; break; case UNTRACEABLE_SECURITY_SESSION: pwdNu

Hello Forum,I'm trying to get a simple application, running on a NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q dev board, to jump to the system bootloader from FreeRTOS. I've also got AN2606 to hand (application note for the STM bootloader) and RM0456 (STM32 U5 reference manual). I have been following this guide.  How to jump to system bootloader from application ... - STMicroelectronics CommunityAccording to the guide and reference manuals the bootloader base address on my MCU (STM32U5A5) is at 0x0BF90000.  The 32 bit word at that address is the stack location, and the 32bit work at 0x0BF90004 is the entry point for the bootloader. In my setup values are read as:0x200034E8 - this is valid memory (stack)0x0BF98C39 - this is unexpected as lots of the internet says this should be 0x0BF99EFE but I'm guessing this is actually OK.I currently have this code:#define BOOTLOADER_BASE 0x0BF90000 typedef struct boot_vectable { uint32_t Initial_SP; void (*Reset_Handler)(void); } boot_vectable_t; void Ju

 Hi everyone,I was exploring the VENC_SDCard example from STM32CubeN6 v1.2.0, and I was successfully able to record and store video to the SD card after making a few necessary changes mentioned here.Now, I want to record and store the video in grayscale format. After modifying the MX_DCMIPP_Init() function in main.c and the BSP_LCD_InitEx() function in stm32n6570_discovery_led.c, I can correctly see the grayscale video output on the display.However, when I try to record this grayscale stream, the resulting video is distorted.(Attached it)Upon debugging, I suspect the issue originates from the following line in encoder_prepare():preproc_cfg.inputType = H264ENC_RGB565;The inputType is still set to RGB, and after checking the h264encapi.h header file, I found the following enum for H264EncPictureType on line 159: typedef enum { H264ENC_YUV420_PLANAR = 0, /**< YYYY... UUUU... VVVV... */ H264ENC_YUV420_SEMIPLANAR, /**< YYYY... UVUVUV... */ H264ENC_YUV420_SEMIPLANAR_VU, /

Hello, Is there any application like Power Consumption Calculator (PCC, which is embedded inside the STM32CubeIDE) for SPC5 microcontroller Family?I am using SPC58xCx and SPC58xBx lines and need the current consumption data for microcontroller core, peripherals, and I/Os.Best regards.

Dear ST Community Members,I have built a 7KW three-phase interleaved totem pole PFC circuit (based on the schematic of STEVAL-7BIDIRCB, retaining only the PFC section). The firmware was generated using ST eDesignSuite's "FW download" tool. Before power-up, I verified the ADC readings for input voltage/current and output voltage/current sampling, all of which matched the calculated values.Current Observations:Scenario A:Apply 230V/50Hz AC power first → Power on the STM32G474 MCUResult: Output stabilizes at 325V (rectified voltage), control board yellow LED lights up, and can't start.Scenario B:Power on the STM32G474 MCU first → Apply 230V/50Hz AC powerResult: Output rises from 0V to 230V, holds for ~300ms, then the circuit breaker trips.Additional Notes:Tripping device: Schneider Electric C16 30mA RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker)No components on the PFC board show visible damageCould anyone kindly advise on potential root causes for these behaviors? Any insights or suggestions wo

In the setupscreen function:Screen1ViewBase::setupScreen(); digitalHours = digitalClock1.getCurrentHour(); digitalMinutes = digitalClock1.getCurrentMinute(); digitalSeconds = digitalClock1.getCurrentSecond();and in the handletickeventScreen1View::tickCounter++; if (tickCounter % 60 == 0) { if (++digitalSeconds >= 60) { digitalSeconds = 0; if (++digitalMinutes >= 60) { digitalMinutes = 0; if (++digitalHours >= 24) { digitalHours = 0; } } } // Update the clocks digitalClock1.setTime24Hour(digitalHours, digitalMinutes, digitalSeconds);But as shown below the time is the initial value (current time was 22:47)  how can we fix it.

one box in the screen, then create a button on box, meant to change the color of box, when button pressed; simulator -> OK; but download to board, running denormal , when button pressed, finger off, button not release, still pressed state, why? (use STM32F429I_DISCO BOARD CUBEIDE)

Respected Sir/ Madam,    AS i'm using LORA-E5(stm32wle5jc) module communicating point to point Radio Frequency and AT Command also. We are config SubGHz for Radio Send and Receive Functions in Loop Mode . No Response received from this.  By using AT command we need to flash any Binary Files? How to Communicate P2P Two Lora-E5 module. Thanks,

Using Ux_Device_Audio2.0_PlayBack as an example for STM32H753, I enabled in the .ioc file, but it doesn't seem to be affected in the project. Any idea why?    In the .ioc, I have this `UX_DEVICE_CLASS_AUDIO_FEEDBACK_SUPPORT` enabled... should be affecting ux_user.h      But ux_user.h is not being used in the project, so I don't think it's actually being built into the .elf file. I also can't find the file in the STM32CubeIDE project as well, although it is under `USBX/App/ux_user.h` in the system explorer... Here's the Project explorer in the IDE: and even opening each of those *.c files doesn't reveal ux_user.h.  Lastly, I do have UX_INCLUDE_USER_DEFINE_FILE in the preprocessor: Am I missing something?

Hi,I am working on an application for the STM32N6 (using zephyr) that streams data from four SPI interfaces (SPI1, SPI2, SPI3 and SPI6) via Ethernet (UDP). I am using full-duplex SPI transfers and GPDMA1.Everything works fine up to SPI clock frequencies of 22MHz on all four SPI interfaces. However, as soon as I increase the SPI clock to beyond 25MHz, I start getting DMA transfer errors and erroneous data in my buffers. Obviously, 22MHz full-duplex on four SPI interfaces is already quite fast, but if possible, I would like to go beyond that.I know that Ethernet is not the bottleneck here, since this happens even if I do not stream all data over Ethernet.I was just wondering: Is this performance expected, e.g., due to the high load on the memory bus? What measured could I take to increase performance further?Thanks for your help!

Hello,I am having an issue writing the Hardware Config in the HSO Motor Pilot. I was able to do this with my previous set up, but recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Along with the OS upgrade, I also installed the latest releases for all the ST software so MC Workbench went from V6.3.2 to 6.4.1. I am wondering if this is a Win 11 issue or a MC Workbench issue, or possibly a debugger setting issue?Components Used:MC Workbench V6.4.1STM32CubeMX V6.15.0STM32CubeIDE V1.19.0B-G473E-ZEST1S Control BoardSTEVAL-LVLP01 Power BoardProcess:Generate project in MCWB (Sensorless HSO option) - if errors finish generating in CubeMX - Open in CubeIDE - Build / Flash with default debugger settings via USB to onboard USB STLINK - Connect to MotorPilot (Connects fine, can tune, edit values) - Select Hardware Config (either Read / Fill from UI / Import, all with same result) - Click "Write" then the board doesn't reconnect.The errors I get in the connection bar either say "Port Open and try to

Hi!I have an issue with the upgrade process of the X-CUBE-FREERTOS plugin. It happened upgrading to 1.3.0 and to 1.3.1 as well: the list of tasks defined in CubeMX seems to be retained in the CMSIS RTOS2 tab as well as the other settings, but when regenerating the code the definitions disappear, and they have to be entered again,Is there anybody else with this issue? Could this be a bug? Configuration:STM32CubeIDE 1.18.1STM32CubeMX 6.14.1X-CUBE-FREERTOS 1.3.1

The DMA seems working, because I printed the captured value periodically. the DMA-Buffer is two, and it is working in a circular mode.I try to do some calculation in the interruption-function: "void HAL_DMA_XferCpltCallback(DMA_HandleTypeDef *hdma)" like this: void HAL_DMA_XferCpltCallback(DMA_HandleTypeDef *hdma) { if (hdma->Instance == DMA1_Stream5) // MCU-abhängig! { uint32_t first = IC_Values[0]; uint32_t second = IC_Values[1]; if (second >= first) diff = second - first; else diff = (0xFFFFFFFF - first + second); /* Timer läuft mit 1 MHz → 1 µs

Hi I am using the STM32N6570 with AI application models. I have seen the STM Model Zoo and STM32 AI Services. In the services, the application code is generated automatically based on the model selected from the Model Zoo. My question is: how do I develop my own AI application from scratch in STM32CubeIDE, without using the Python scripts? I have already run the Python scripts and they work fine, but I want to know how to build the application manually from scratch in CubeIDE.

Hi all i used LTDC hardware inside the STM32f429 discovery board to drive an external 24 bit RGB display in 16 bit mode . full GUI is designed in LVGL library , I was able to build it and flash it. I got the output on the display but with few issues . 1.the update speed of the GUI elements are way too slow , so I cant update it real time 2.I am not getting a precise output .some pixels are lost,  3.can I change the horizontal animation happening when changing the screen 4.How to use DMA2D to copy pixel data to framebuffer 5.I'll put the output image so you can see the color issue , i am not getting pure white its like a red/pink  tinted screen from my view LVGL  ver-8.3.11 the label is white and arc background color is grey, but this is what I am getting

Hello,I’m currently testing the CSI–DCMIPP interface on the Nucleo-N6 board. I’m following various examples, but the variable used in DCMIPP_Start (lcd_bg_buffer) is not receiving any data. Is there something I might have configured incorrectly?At the moment, the buffer is configured to be stored in ARAM2.

Hi,I’m working with the STM32F407VGTX and I am using GPIO PA4 as the SPI chip-select (CS) pin. In my GPIO initialization, I set the PUPDR register to configure PA4 with a pull-up, expecting the CS pin to remain HIGH when idle. However, I observe on my logic analyzer that after initialization PA4 goes HIGH briefly, then returns LOW (its default state) even though the pull-up is set. I am attaching a screenshot of my logic analyzer for reference.Could anyone please explain why the pin doesn’t remain high with the pull-up configuration, and what’s the correct way to configure PA4 so that CS is HIGH when SPI is not active?Thank you!

The board I'm using is STM32H747I-DISCO, and the tool I installed is STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0.I want to build a static library based on it.Therefore, I run the following steps to create the library.File -> New -> STM32 ProjectAt this time, I got the following WARNING meesage.Does anyone know how to solve this issue? I tried to build the generated project using the following actions.And then, I got the following errors.However, this file already exists, as shown in the image below. Did I make any mistakes in the steps I took to create the library? And how can I resolve these issues?

ADF_AudioRecorder call HAL_DMAEx_List_BuildNode() without initializing pNodeConfig.Init.Mode. So with USE_FULL_ASSERT, it can assert because of assert_param(IS_DMA_MODE(pNodeConfig->Init.Mode));

Hi, I have been using NUCLEO-H755ZI_Q board for initial software development and evaluation. I wanted to use STM32H755IIK3 but as nucleo version was not available, I have been working with LQFP144 version. I want to switch MCU model to this BGA and make custom hardware.  What is the best practice for MCU model switch? I was looking this: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus/how-to-switch-from-one-stm32-to-another-using-stm32cubemx/ta-p/49884 But CubeIDE seems to be different.
