Hi everyone,I am trying to bring in sensor synchronization for accurate data acquisition in a wireless sensor network built using STM32F407 Discovery. ADXL355 Digital accelerometer (shown below ) provides full external sync by applying an external clock (enabled via the EXT_CLK bit) at 1.024 MHz on the INT2 pin (Pin 13) and an external synchronization signal, SYNC, on the DRDY pin (Pin 14). The pulse width of the SYNC signal must be at least 3.91 μs, which represents four cycles of the external clock(4 ÷ 1.024 MHz = ~3.91 μs). I used (Digilent) Analog Discovery 2 to provide an external clock 1.024 MHz and a SYNC signal 256 KHz ( 1.024 MHz / 4 ). When I tried this I can not get any response from the sensor but it worked good with internal clock. Can anyone help me to fix this problem? My functions that I used is found below :backhand_index_pointing_down: ADXL355_Result Device_ID(SPI_HandleTypeDef* spix,GPIO_TypeDef* GPIOx, uint16_t GPIO_Pin){ /****************** Check the Anal

Hello, I would like to create new project for STM32G474 in Atollic Truestudio 9.3 but I can't choose in Target my microcontroller. Atollic TruseStudio don't support those microcontroller?I use STM32G474 - nucleo board. I can't choose any STM32G familly. I can see microcontrollers like STM32H7, STM32F7, STM32G0 etc.. but not STM32G4. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hello! I'm in the process of adapting code I wrote for the STM32F4 series to the new G4 series and I've ran into an issue. When I try to start a new DMA transfer on completion of the current one by running HAL_DAC_Start_DMA from the HAL_DAC_ConvCpltCallbackCh1 routine this only works once and no subsequent interrupt is generated when that conversion is complete. On the F4 series this worked fine, but now I can only get it to work by setting a flag in the callback and then initiating a new transfer from my main loop. Are these functions implemented differently on the G4 series or could I be overlooking a hardware issue? Perhaps there is a more recommended way of doing this?BTW: I'm using the V1.4.0 Cube Firmware

I want to use a CMSIS-DSP FIR function in my code and get a compile error:compiling phase_det.c... ../Drivers/CMSIS/Include/core_cm4.h(81): error: #35: #error directive: "Compiler generates FPU instructions for a device without an FPU (check __FPU_PRESENT)" #error "Compiler generates FPU instructions for a device without an FPU (check __FPU_PRESENT)" ..\Src\phase_det.c: 0 warnings, 1 errorIn Keil I used the 'Manage Runtime Environment ' to add CMSIS-DSP Library. In my source code file I haven't yet added the FIR, but I did add the include "arm_math.h".What does the above error mean? The STM32G431 does have an FPU as far as I know (Ref Manual). Anyway, I want to use fixed point FIR.What steps do I need to take to properly install the CMSIS-DSP Library?

I'm using a X-NUCLEO-NFC05A1 (on a Nordic nrf5340 dev kit board), and want to enable/test Capactive Wakeup. Before enabling, I'm trying to perform direct command 0xDD Calibrate Capacitive Sensor. According to the data sheet, this should be performed while in Power Off mode, and the an interrupt will be generated on termination.I never see any interrupt generated, I'm expecting to see an IRQ due to termination of direct command. How long should calibration take? I've waited for up to 10s, still no interrupt.Any suggestions on things to look at/try to get this working?Normal power on mode NFC reading of Type 2 tags works fine.

HiI start with a template. I'm generating GFX without error. I open the STM32CubeIDE. There are * .cpp files. There is no * .hpp. Why? RegardsAndrzej

Hi, I'm using the LIS3DHTR and I read the applications note and the datasheet, but after that I'm still no understanding how to use the high pass filter, so I have some questions.1-The purpose of the high pass filter is to filter de DC component?2-I read that 2 modes exits, but in the application note AN3308 explains that there are 4 modes. Could you explain exactly what each mode do and how to use them? I do not understand if I need to reed the reference register each ODR or only at the beggining and the differences between each mode.¡Thanks !

hello everyone,I use the spc560B064 chip for my project with 5 flexcan (flexcan0, flexcan1, flexcan2, flexcan4, flexcan5) use on the board.I use the SPC560Bxx LowLevel driver generate by SPC5studio (v6.0) everything is good with the two first can unit but when I try to send frame with the flexcan 5 nothing happen (no activity on tx pin) the transmit code of the mailbox pass to 0x0C after transmit function call but stay at this value.I double check and output pin are well configure, the Tx pin go high after init and stay there... even if I populate a tx mail box. PCR register for ouput pin and padsel for input are at good value. Is anyone have an idea about the problem? Thanks by advance

I am using STM32CUBE IDE v1.6.0 with TouchGFX v4.16.1 installed and using firmware version V1.16.0.Yet in the Middleware sections, the graphics section is not there. Can anyone tell me why?

Hi,I have an UDP Server on a STM32F407Disc1. It works very good, but when the ethernet cable is already connected when I power on the board. However, if I connect the cable after powering on the board, UDP Server does not receive any message. My UDP Server is initiated before the while(1) loop, and I have MX_LWIP_Process() inside this while.I have also added LWIP_NETIF_LINK_CALLBACK 1 to lwipopts.h and ethernetif_set_link(&gnetif) inside my MX_LWIP_Process function.Where's the problem? The link status (if connected or not) is detected. Thanks a lot!Kind regards.

Can any one help me on this. thanks in advance

Hi FriendI want Read from speciefic address in flash and save it In ram and then write to another Address in flash. My problem is how can i read from flash.I am waiting for your help

I have a STM32H745I-DISCO with the STM32CubeIDE platform. I have reviewed various examples that generated the BSP folder for stm32h745i_discovery.h/c files. These files are not generating when creating my own project. I would like to use the BSP_LED_Toggle() function for ease of use while learning. I am new to embeds and appreciate your assistance.

Using an stm32l476rg nucleo as a master device and SPI2 peripheral. The following bits have been set in order for the NSS bit to stay high normally and then be pulled down during communication (according to the reference manual).MSTR = 1SSM = 0SSOE = 1SPE = 1 (on button press), 0 (after transmission flag and busy flag is zeroUsing a logic analyzer, MOSI and SCLK outputs work correctly and I can read the message off the logic analyzer software but the enable line (NSS bit) is always low no matter what. All GPIO's are configured right, why is this happening?

I’m very new to STM32 development so bear with me if this is a simple question. I’m trying to use an L476RG Nucleo and X-Nucleo-ihm03a1 powerSTEP01 board to control stepper motors.I’ve downloaded X-CUBE-SPN3 Driver software expansion for STM32Cube and have skimmed the following manualthe example projects only support toolchains EWARM, MDK-ARM and SW4STM32. Theres a number of files that came with the X-CUBE-SPN3 download, which files are the right driver files and how do I import them into an STMCUBEIDE project?

Hi,I will use VN751S. However, I have a problem. I use feedback to detect open load condition. Use of voltage divider resistors and vn751 are attached. The problem is; For 24v, the result of the voltage division should be about 19V, but when you create the circuit with VN751S (IN = 0V switch off ), the voltage becomes 13V. My expectation is that the switch has a very high equivalent resistance in the off position and it will not affect my feedback circuit. What is the reason of this?Another problem is short circuit protection. While the VN751S output is shorted to ground, the output current will never be 0. It allows about 200 mA of current to flow from the output to ground. Shouldn't the output be turned off completely in a short circuit to ground (Current > 6A)? These tests and their results are very important. Since I will decide accordingly, I need to find an answer immediately.BR,Onur.

Hi, I am trying to generate the usb_cdc FW, I generated the code using stm cube IDE,and the controller is stm32f070c6,i increase the heap size 0x400 and stack size 0x400,im taking the example from STM32Cube_FW_F0_V1.11.2\Projects\STM32072B_EVAL\Applications\USB_Device\CDC_Standalone but again it is showing thge same error . I'm trying to transmit the data over USB continuously, but i'm getting USBD_busy ERROR ,it is showing the error like device descript request failed and unknown usb device please can you please help me how to solve this problem, i have tried no. of ways still getting same error ,please mention the required heap and stack size for stm32f070c6Thanks in advance

Hello All,I am trying to send some classic CAN messages via the FDCAN3 module on STM32G474CE device. I have only pins for FDCAN3 free. My FDCAN clock is PCLK1 with a frequency of 64MHz.When I try to transmit a CAN message, firstly there is no transmission on the line (as seen from the oscilloscope and PCAN-Explorer software. My questions are: 1. Can I even use FDCAN3 alone to transmit messages? Is it necessary to enable FDCAN1 for it or something? What should be the bit timing register values for nominal and data bit timing registers to achieve a Baud rate of 250 KBits per sec. Again, I want to send only normal classic CANopen messages and no CANFD messages. Here is how CubeMX has programmed the configuration registershfdcan3.Instance = FDCAN3; hfdcan3.Init.FrameFormat = FDCAN_FRAME_CLASSIC; hfdcan3.Init.Mode = FDCAN_MODE_NORMAL; hfdcan3.Init.AutoRetransmission = DISABLE; hfdcan3.Init.TransmitPause = DISABLE; hfdcan3.Init.ProtocolException = DISABLE; hfdcan3.

When I plug in the user usb port on the nucleo to my computer nothing shows up. I'd like to put it into DFU mode over usb so i can flash a custom bootloader. Thanks!

Hello,my problem is that i can't get access to the ADC12_CCR register. I activated the corresponding Clock in the RCC_AHB2ENR register. In addition I compare the addresses of the register from the library with the data of the reference manual, they are the same. I tried the same with the ADC345_CCR register, that access succeeded. My minimal code is very simple without HAL or LL Library, so it's very clearly to understand.PS: I also tried it with the HAL library, but the HAL Library also don't get access to this register.#include "stm32g473xx.h"void main(void){ RCC->AHB2ENR|=RCC_AHB2ENR_ADC12EN;  ADC12_COMMON->CCR=0x1C0000;}This CODE above don't work. But the following code below is working...#include "stm32g473xx.h"void main(void){ RCC->AHB2ENR|=RCC_AHB2ENR_ADC345EN;  ADC345_COMMON->CCR=0x1C0000;}I don't no, it's a mysterium. I don't found a reason for a defect in the errata sheet.Do i have miss some important information from the reference manual? Maybe

Hi I have an error when I try to debug my nucleo board L412KB on my Mac . I have the latest stm32ide. But when I try to debug I got this error No st-link detected. If I run a s’y-info —probe I got no result 0 device found. If I try to update stlink from stm32ide, ide doesn’t find any stlink installed. I don’t understand why I’ve installed stlinkv2 from dpkg package and I’ve also tried with brew install stlink. I’ve already tried also to uninstall et resinstall s32ide no result :(Is anyone have encountered this problem with Mac OS X?

For the past few weeks I have been trying to port the NUCLEO-H753ZI SBSFU implementation to the H757 and have run into several problems. My development environment is linux.First of all, I could not build the binaries succesfully without massive modifications to the project. First I had to install python modules and point the scripts to the proper python version (python3). Second, I had to fix paths that were misspelled within the projects' settings. Finally, I had to fix an issue where the makefile of the user application included the se_interface_app.o file twice in the same command, resulting in an error.Only after all of this was I able to produce a binary that was programmable onto the board, but even after all this when I would try to send a .sfb file through minicom the SBSFU would still throw an error by saying the firmware was too big.I have read the integration guide many times over and I still don't understand what steps I need to make to adapt the project to the H757.
