What is the hardware, output power difference between ST25RU3993-EVAL &ST25RU3993-HPEV

Hello, I am using the polling demo example from the RFAL library (STM32CubeExpansion_NFC6_V1.1.0) and added it to my custom application. My work now just requires me to use NFC-V tags. Therefore, I only selected RFAL_FEATURE_NFCV but it appears the code doesn't sense the tags in my application. The RFAL initialization is successful too.I have included a screenshot of the RFAL Features Configuration from platform.h. I have disabled a number of RFAL support because I won't be using them.Does some features need to be enabled in order for tag detection to work (ex. LISTEN MODE or WAKEUP mode)? Many thanks.

if anyone already done or any example demos please share,i have a working webserver with static webpage , need to create a dynamic webpage with user login .if any demos or references kindly give link .thanks in advance.

I wanted to know the IDE which are available for stm32.And whats the difference among them.

Hi there,I am new with St25dv04k NFCI want to send data from RF to I2C using ST25DV04K IC by following AN4910 I have followed all the procedure as written in the Application note. I am getting the interrupt but unable to transfer the data from the NFC tag.I also tried using the ST25 NFC tap Android application to write data on the IC using RF and I2C Thanks in advance have a nice day ST community is awesome.

EDIT: In case someone in the futurehas the same problem, I solved it by welding each pin.Hello, I'm trying to learn about microcontrollers and some of their characteristics, so bare with me as I'm pretty new to all of these stuff. Right now I'm trying to send some data to an LCD, just some basic program.I've got a nucleo board f303ze which works fine on all the projects that I've done so far.I recently I bought this LCD display: https://www.amazon.es/AZDelivery-HD44780-visualizaci%C3%B3n-16-caracteres-Arduino/dp/B07CQG6CMT/And I'm trying to make it work with the nucleo board.I've been following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-KgHsQPkwgWhich uses the following libraries: https://github.com/MYaqoobEmbedded/STM32-Tutorials/tree/master/Tutorial%2042%20-%20LCD16x2%20I2COf which I had to edit lcd16x2_i2c.c, as it seemed to have soem duplicate lines. (I upload the new file .c, but I think it's fine now). So, there are several problems after I connect the LCD+adpater to the boa

Hello, What is the best way to communicate between cores? I am working on a project in which I need to read data using one core and process this data using a second core. I am working with a STM32H745. The idea is that the M4 core is going to be used to read data from sensors and the M7 core will process this data and then send it to a PC using USART. I thought that one way of doing this would be to write the data to the flash memory of the MCU and then read it using the other core, but I haven't been able to get this to work. If someone know a better way to do this it would be extremely helpful if you could guide me on how to do this.Thank you!

I have followed the ST tutorial on how to genterate a 1Hz PWM using timer, but for some reason its not blinking.I configured:1)Clock configuration to 8Mhz2)Set PWM genration channel 33)Set prescaler to 1274)Set ARR to 624995)Selected PWM mode 1 and made the pulse value to 312506)Finally I set the PINB10 to tim2_ch3 and connected it to an LED in a breadboardIn the main.c I have this HAL function to start the PWM HAL_TIM_PWM_Start(&htim2,HAL_TIM_ACTIVE_CHANNEL_3 );Please help ,I have been with this for some time now. But still I am not getting the output.

Hi Guys,I'm trying to do basic communication via Ethernet on a Nucleo H723 board. I would just like to send and receive a few Layer 2 frames. I'm going through the reference manual and the ETH HAL files to learn how the ethernet peripheral works. What I fail to understand so far is, where do you set the destination MAC for the packet which is to be transmitted? The source MAC is set in the ETH_MACA0HR and ETH_MACA0LR registers, great. The destination MAC address should be set on per-frame level, but the Transmit Descriptors do not contain any destination MAC address fields. Can anyone give me a hint, as to how/where do you set the destination MAC address when sending a frame?Regards,Marko

Hello,I want to disign my own antenna for the ST25DV product. I follow the AN2972 and the AN5605 but when I use the eDisignSuite, the value of the inductance is not the same with my simulation with the software Advanced Disign System. Can you help me ?

I am using only I2c ,USB and I2s in the STM32 MCU. May I know, Is there any other IDE that is better to replace STM32cubeIDE or it is the better choice.

i have connected the tx pin to rx pin on fbcan3 interfaceyou will find my project in attacheementthanks

Hi,We have a product on the field using an ST25DV tag with NDEF records, and we also developed an IOS app to interact with it, now, after updating to IOS 14.6, our app stopped working, this is what we discovered so far:Both our App and the IOS ST App (V3.1, latest) stopped detecting our product (on the ST app only on the "Read NDEF" button, the "Read Tag" button still finds it)This is not a problem with an invalid NDEF, I also tested with other ST25DV tags formatted and created with different NFC apps, including the ST appThis problem seems to affect only ISO 15693 tags, I tested with an M24SR tag (ISO 14443), and both our app and the ST app were able to detect itIs ST already aware of this problem? Does anyone knows if is there any workaround for the app to work again? we started receiving complains from customers and the situation will escalate quickly if we don't find a solution.Any help from ST will be appreciated!ThanksGustavo

I am using a Nucleo H743ZI2 with the CubeIDE and while it does generate code to initialize the SPI peripheral itself, it does not generate code to configure GPIO pins as the SPI alternate function. This is despite the fact that the GPIO pins for SPI are shown green on the Pinout & Configuration window and it is able to generate code for other GPIO pins, like the pins connected to the LEDs.

I want to catch the UART data from the evl board and plot them real-time. This can not be done by the GUI. Therefore, I think I need to change the firmware on the board. I successfully build the firmware by stm32cube ide and flash the .bin file into the board. The firmware can be recognized by the GUI so I suppose there should be no problem. Then, I use a common UART software to open the awake the board, the LEDs light normally. However, I can not receive any UART data. [LOG("FW Version = %02d.%02d.%02d.%02d\n",FW_VERSION_MAJOR, FW_VERSION_MINOR, FW_VERSION_MICRO, FW_VERSION_NANO);] This code should transmit the UART data to the PC, right?I am pretty sure the UART setting on PC is correct since I had check the UART_init in the board firmware. What will be the problem? My main purpose is to active the scanning and receive the UART data. Is there any suggestion on the modification of the source code? Many thanks

Is there any SDK and sample code for the ST25RU3993 EVAL board? I would like to know what the API is from the PC side and of course some sample code (C# preferred).

Has anyone port touchgfx to work with UCOSIII?

Hi,I created a project for STM32F769I EVAL in TouchGFX, opened the project in STM32CubeIDE, but the IDE can't open the .ioc file:Plug-in com.st.stm32cube.common.mx was unable to load class com.st.stm32cube.common.mx.editor.CubeMxEditor.org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Plug-in com.st.stm32cube.common.mx was unable to load class com.st.stm32cube.common.mx.editor.CubeMxEditor....Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.st.stm32cube.common.mx.editor.CubeMxEditor cannot be found by com.st.stm32cube.common.mx_6.1.0.202011121557...Note that the file opens successfully in CubeMX. So I tried opening it in CubeMX and re-generating the code for STM32CubeIDE, but I'm still having the same problem.STM32CubeIDE Version 1.5.0..ioc file attached.Any help is appreciated.

Hello, I try to programm a STM32F765 via USART1 (PA9/PA10), but the connection fails. I use STM32CubeProgrammer v2.7.0.If I use USART3 instead on my target, programming works as expected.Q: Is there a known bug, and USART1 does not work on this CPU? ( I remember that I had similar problems some years ago..). If yes where is this documented? At the moment we are working on a design using STM32F733. We want to use the USART to program our initial bootloader. We have no eval-board where I could test in advance that USART1 is working with that CPU. Can ST confirm that the bootloader would work with USART1 on STM32F733 ? Or should I move to another USART?

I'm using the STM32L431xx mcu. The current hardware configuration of our design has no external clock source (crystal), so we are using the internal one. And there's a new functionality which demands second-accurate real time clock, over a period of 3 or so months.According to our previous experience, which could be wrong, there will be roughly 1 second error for every 3 days if we leave the RTC running. This clearly is unacceptable.I'm trying to find out whether there's a way to compensate/eliminate/offset this error? Without using external clock source of course.

This is the code that is missing (and i had to add myself):ADC_INJ_InitStruct.TriggerSource = LL_ADC_INJ_TRIG_SOFTWARE; ADC_INJ_InitStruct.SequencerLength = 2; ADC_INJ_InitStruct.SequencerDiscont = LL_ADC_INJ_SEQ_DISCONT_DISABLE; ADC_INJ_InitStruct.TrigAuto = LL_ADC_INJ_TRIG_INDEPENDENT; LL_ADC_INJ_Init(ADC3, &ADC_INJ_InitStruct);(The HAL code generator does this correctly).

What are the general rules designing capacitive sensor pads for ST25R3916?Pad sizes and shapes, pad to pad distance, pad to gnd distance etc.Timo
