I try to use STM32CubeMX generate project with makefile, but the option is gray. It's can not select. Does the cubemx not support generate makefile on stm32mp1 platform ?

Hi,I am trying to control a SPMSM using EVSPIN32G4.I can't find any example for X-CUBE-MCSDK with EVSPIN32G4.So, please link for the examples or materials for studying.Thank you.

I'm using STM32L476 MCU.I config DMA Setting for USART. And I use HAL_UART_Receive_DMA in main.cIf I received data, test_count always increase two.void DMA1_Channel6_IRQHandler(void){ /* USER CODE BEGIN DMA1_Channel6_IRQn 0 */  test_count ++; /* USER CODE END DMA1_Channel6_IRQn 0 */ HAL_DMA_IRQHandler(&hdma_usart2_rx); /* USER CODE BEGIN DMA1_Channel6_IRQn 1 */ /* USER CODE END DMA1_Channel6_IRQn 1 */}Is there anyone who can help?

We are using LSM6DSOXTR Sensor for getting the acceleration,Its datasheet says(4.6.2- Zero-g and zero-rate level Page no 17)"A sensor in a steady state on a horizontal surface will measure 0 g on both the X-axis and Y-axis, whereas the Z-axis will measure 1 g."but we are getting below values,X   Y       Z13 65531 6454113 65532 645426 65530 645398 65531 64540Can anyone suggest1)Why we are getting this much high values?2)How to achieve the value "0" in the X, Y-axis when the sensor is put on a flat non-moving surface? It will be more helpful if someone shares a sample code which is showing the settings and process to get correct acceleration data. Thanks

I have 2 device that have on independent st25dv NFC chips and also st32 mcu.I wonder that 2 devices can communicate each other without any physical connection ?For example i want one device is act like mobile phone. is it possible ?

Hello!I own an STM32F769I-DISCO board which presents an external connector called "JP1" (a picture of this one is given just below) used to power the microcontroller. So, I would like to know:What is the maximum current consumption by this external connector? What is the power input we could get here?I truly thank you in advance for your help.

Hello, I have a problem to use another bus (I2C2 or I2C3) than the I2C1 bus in the nulceo STM32WL55JC1My code is working with I2C1 but when I just change hi2c1 into hi2c3. Then, HAL_I2C_Mem_Write() is no longer working. I cannot see any signal with an oscilloscope. I use Cube MX to make the initilization so it has to be the same between I2C1 and I2C3. Just I notice that for I2C1 I have and for I2C3 But I cannot change that. I have tried with an another board... but not working also I have try to put Fast mode to try the high speed as said here : HAL for I2C is horribly broken (st.com) Wouldn't that be a CubeMX problem ?Unless there is another error on the pins of the NUCELO in the table of UM2592? and that it is not these pins 36 and 38 of CN7 but others? (Irritating documentation for I2C1 Pins on NUCLEO WL55JC1 (st.com))Thank you by advance

Hello,I'm working on a data acquisition project and i'm looking to use the AD7768 ADC.The datasheet says it has a 8 channel data interface, but i cant really find out what data protocol it is. Is it just plain data bits? if yes, can i just read it with I2S, uart, or reading it bit for bit???Does anyone have experience with the ad7768 data interface?Greetings,Angus Schmaloer

Hello!I have an STM32F769I-DISCO board and I would like to power it by using the USB HS connector. I have just found that power bank 57960 P/PACK RS | Varta 6Ah 5V Power Bank Portable Charger | RS Components (rs-online.com) and I am wondering whether I really can use it (especially the 5V/1A output) to power my board with no risk of breaking.Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Hello,I am currently working with 2 Nucleo-G0B1RE board. I adapted the "FDCAN_Com_IT_2_BOARDS" from the G0C1RE-EV example.Clocks are the same, so i think the fdcan is properly setup.I changed the RX/TX pin from PD12/PD13 to PA11/PA12, and connected the 2 board together, without using FDCAN transceiver, just using RX/TX pin. When using FDCAN_MODE_EXTERNAL_LOOPBACK mode, my signal looks fine, but in normal mode, i always get a bit error (first transmission). What i am doing wrong ?Thanks for your help

Hi,I am trying to integrate swupdate for OTA update integration for STM32MP1.In the due process I will be in need to modify the flash layout file a bit , since I am trying have an extra rootfs partition , named partition B on /dev/mmcblkp06.I referred to flash layout currently mentioned here.It looks to me that there is not any support for the extra rootfs which is provided. How can i do that? I am sure that I will be in need to change the flashlayout but since offsets are defined static in the mentioned link , I was wondering what should be offset calculation for achieving the same.I want to achieve following scheme:#Opt Id Name Type IP Offset Binary - 0x01 fsbl1-boot Binary none 0x0 arm-trusted-firmware/tf-a-stm32mp157c-ev1-usb.stm32 - 0x03 fip-boot Binary none 0x0 fip/fip-stm32mp157c-ev1-trusted.bin P 0x04 fsbl1 Binary mmc1 boot1 arm-trusted-firmware/tf-a-stm32mp157c-ev1-emmc.stm32 P 0x05 fsbl2 Binary mmc1 boot2 arm-trusted-firmware/tf-a-stm32mp157c-ev1-emmc.stm32 PD 0x06 fip Binary

Hello,I need a clarification whether it is possible to read any pin status in alternate function just as it were a normal GPIO input pin. Is it so?For ex. I configured the alternate function for a pin as a Timer Channel Input Capture pin, yet I can still access it to read as HAL_GPIO_ReadPin() ?And also : if pin direct reading is possible, is it the same with all the alternate functions, or with some of them? Thanks in advance for any help,Vlad

Hello Team,I'm newbie to STM32F030CC, in this 6 USART channels are present, I want to use all the 6 USART's via DMA channels, but the available DMA channels are only 5 and also for Tx and Rx dedicated DMA channels are required, in that case I assume I have to go with interrupt based implementation for all 6 USART. Is this approach will work? Also the DMA channels for the USART are selected by setting the register CxS[3:0] , if the value of this register bits set as 1000 means each channels are dedicated for USART1 and if it is set as 1100 means each channels are dedicated for USART5, how can we use each channels for different USART? Like if I want to use the DMA channel1 for USART1Rx and Channel2 for USART1Tx and channel3 for USART2Rx and Channel4 for USART2Tx.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am using the capacitive sensor of the ST25R3916 to "wake-up" the system when a user inserts its tagRFID in the equipment. While the tag is in, the equipment distributes a liquid uninterruptedly and stops when the tag is removed when I want to debit the consumed credit of the tag according to the volume delivered. My doubt is if it possible to use the same sensor to identify that the tagRFID started to be removed? Is there a way to generate an Interrupt for wake-up and another to detect that a tag is being removed due to the ∆cm (capacitance variation)? Many thanks for your support.

A new version 2.8.0 is released. It mainly provides BLE OTA improvements and fixes some minor issues.See Release note https://www.st.com/resource/en/release_note/rn0104-stm32cubemonrf-release-280-stmicroelectronics.pdf for more details.Enjoy !

So when I look into the FUS installation file the version information is all set to 0xFFs. I can successfully read the version information in the stack BIN file, and it comes out as expected.

Dear community, for my project it is necessary to write a text on a ST25TA NFC tag and lock it afterwards permanently. For this I use the ST25 NFC Tap app (Android & iOS), but the interface is hard to understand without any guides. Is there an expert or a manual which can show me how to lock this NFC tag with the app permanently, so that NDEF text can be read by anyone and the NFC tag can't be manipulated? When I choose option: "Write lock permanently" (Screenshot 2), a pop-up wants me to enter a password in hex (Screenshot 1). If I do nothing and just press "OK" the NFC tag seems to be locked. I am safe with this way, so that the message can't be changed or the tag influenced by others?Best regardsDavid

IDE suggested that I upgrade STLink FW on my STM32MP1-DK2 discovery board. Now when I connect my Linux PC to USBC on DK2, device isn't recognized by STMProgrammer (also nothing shows up in dmesg).

Hello,I am interested in seeing the memory map of the H7A3. I have been able to find some information from the HAL drivers, but there is a lot missing. That table does not exist for the H7A3 in the reference manual, which is where the datasheet says to go. I am used to things like Table 6 in the H745 manual, or Figure 3 in the L4R/L4S manual. Where can I find such a table?Thank you

Hello everybody,I want to save the data of a variable with stm32cubemonitor.I can monitor this variable and save the data in a .csv file.but the saved data for time are somehow incorrect. It is started in 1639129406512,00. It should start from 0. The values of variables are correct.Could you please help me?

Hello,I would like to know about the integration between Nucleo-L496GZ with X-Nucleo-IKS01A2 sensor board. Is there really no example that facilitates the integration of these boards? There really is no example using the Nucleo-L496ZG integrated with sensors? Anything I want to do with this core should I build from 0?It's my first time using STM32 and from what I'm realizing I bought the product with the least amount of examples and integrations. Are there any plans for updates to insert examples of integration of Nucleo-L496ZG with sensor boards? Or do they have a tutorial that facilitates the implementation of the integration? Thank you.

I´m trying to calculate my LD1086PUR to output 5v and 3.3V for an ESP32 and somehow can´t get it right. Does someone have an idea which resistor I should use or how I can calculate the resistor? I tried the Vo=Vref * (1+R2/R1) but it doesn't seem to add up.
