Hi everyone, I feel like I am running out of options as to why this is occurring as the RM isn't that accurate to setup DMA + PWM using Timers. The goal is to use TIM15 as a PWM generator running @ 800kHz running until 24 pulses are outputted and then stop until I command it to run again. Within these 24 pulses different duty cycle can occur from 64% for HIGH and 32% for LOW. This TIM15 is using the Repetition Counter register to indicate when 24 pulses as gone by. What I have working thus far is a nice 24 pulse PWM stream but with only LOW (32%) present even though my buffer that gets transferred to CCR1 contains HIGH values (64%)The configuration for the TIM15 are as fellow:LL_DMA_InitTypeDef WS2812B_Config_DMA; LL_GPIO_InitTypeDef WS2812B_Config_GPIO; LL_TIM_InitTypeDef WS2812B_Config_TIM15; LL_TIM_OC_InitTypeDef WS2812B_Config_OC; LL_TIM_BDTR_InitTypeDef WS2812B_Config_BDTR;   LL_APB2_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_APB2_GRP1_PERIPH_TIM15); LL_AHB4_GRP1_EnableClock(LL_AHB4_GRP1_PERI

We want to migrate from STM32L4+ to STM32U5 series of processor.. this latest software is not supported by older ide (1.6.0) so we need to migrate from stm32cubeide 1.6.0 to 1.10.0..I have un-installed the older version and cleared all possible directories, disabled firewall, and removed antivirus. we are using windows7 OS.Done appropriate proxy settings in Window-->Preferences-->Network Connections as per https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/How_to_set_up_proxy_and_P2P_Ethernet_connection_with_STM32CubeIDE.Upon checking connection status in Window-->Preferences-->STM32Cube-->Firmware updater the check connection failure is noticed. I am unable to create any STM32 project as it needs a network connection for downloading the repository.I am able to connect properly to another computer in our LAB. with the above-given procedures.Kindly let me know pointers to debug this issue further.

Hi!I just want to report that I have found two bugs. There is no errors with the HAL_DMA functions. I assume there is some errors with the predefined constants or enumerations.IntroductionI'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.7.0 with STM32F373VBTx and firmware V1.11.3I'm going to enable DMA for two timers. TIM17 and TIM16. I'm going also to enable DMA for Sigma Delta ADC.GoalThe goal is that with TIM17 and TIM16, they will work as Input Capture and save the counter value into arrays. For Sigma Delta ADC, I want to store the ADC values into arrays.Method - Input CaptureFirst I enable the input capture with this code.volatile static uint16_t input_capture0[2] = {0}; volatile static uint16_t input_capture1[2] = {0};   void STM32_PLC_Start_Input_Capture(TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim17, TIM_HandleTypeDef* htim16) { /* * Input capture for measuring frequency * For TIM17 and TIM16 * Timer clock: 48 Mhz * Prescaler: 4799 * Counter: 65535 (0xffff) * Update frequency: 0.1526 Hz (1/0.1526 = 6.5535

Hi, I am using DMA to generate an arbitrary waveform on PIN PA_8 using TIM1_CH1. My HCLK is at 180MHZ, APB2 timer clock at 180 MHz and APB2 peripheral clocks at 90 MHZ.Even though having this clock, when comparing the oscilloscope and the value of ARR register I have a frequency of approximately 56 MHZ. Do you have an idea about it?

HelloI was wondering if you planned to support kirsktone (next yocto LTS) supposed to be released soon. Do you have any info on the port? Thanks

Hello,I'm working on a small scale project. In my earlier design, I've used the STM32F100x series. Now as the STM introduced a new set of controllers, the STM32G series ( which is less in cost and much higher efficiency than STM32F series), I've migrated to STM32G030K6T6. AT present in my custom-made board, I've only placed a micro-controller along with some essential circuitry component and trying to program the micro-controller, but unfortunately, the micro-controller is not getting programmed. Currently, I'm using the ST-Link V2. I even tried to program with the ST-link of the NUCLEO-G070RB board, but the results are still the same.Error Message :   14:09:32: Can not connect to target! Please select "Connect Under Reset" mode from Target->Settings menu and try again.  If you're trying to connect to a low-frequency application, please select a lower SWD Frequency mode from Target->Settings menu. 14:09:34: No target connected.

Please see the below:After migrating any previous STM32CubeIDE-1.9.0 project to STM32CubeIDE-1.10.0 using the Migrate tool, they all now fail to build, which is a pretty massive issue.Could this please be looked into immediately?Regards,Luke

Hello STCommunity,I can't find some data about the exposure area in m² of the VL53L5CX ToF-Sensor, there is only the FOV in degree mentioned in the flyers and datasheet, as you can see below.I look forward to hearing from you.kind regards Maik H.

I want to use the LED/Display drivers already written for the evaluation board. I am unable to include "stm32h747i_eval.h" which is located in my repository folder "STM32Cube/Repository/STM32Cube_FW_H7_V1.10.0/Drivers/BSP/STM32H747I-EVAL". Can this be done in CubeMX or do I need to link the folder in the project?

I have followed the driections from here to set up my project using ethernet. However, I do not get any response that the ethernet application is even running. I have tried pinging the set ipaddress of the board given in the description. I'm on Ubuntu 18.04. My ethernet connection status shows connected in network manager. Running an ifconfig shows the static address I set for connecting to the board.I have in a second task for the freeRTOS to have LED1 on board blink. Inside a second task designated as the udp task, I have a separate LED toggling as well. The first LED toggles as expected, but in the udp task, the LED2 is not blinking. I can get it to Blink if I remove the udpSend command. I'd like to verify that there is not any specific hardware setup with the board that I'm missing. From UM2525 it seems I just can set JP5, which I left as default.I have also run "nmap -sP 192.168.0/24" in a terminal to check for any other devices on that network with zero results turned up. The DCH

I have been trying to set up an Ethernet application demo on the STM32H757Xi-Eval board that I am helping to evaluate for a customer trying to determine if st micro-controllers are the best chip to utilize in their next gen releases. I have not had much luck demonstrating the Ethernet capability of the STM32H757 chip.I have been following the article written here that ultimately leads to an article that follows the first one and provides example code as well, found here. The second one even helps to guide how to start the setup up in CubMX and then provides example code for sending UDP messages as well as modifying the FLASH.ld script.Currently, I am toggling LED4 (Blue) on the board inside my default task. If I remove the udpSend() function, the LED will blink at Hz. Once I put the function back in, there is no response from the LED. What would cause the program to get stuck in that function? It is a pre-written funciton. So, I'd assume I should not need to alter it.I am running in an

I am using the stm32h757i-Eval board and am trying to get a simple Ethernet LWIP application running. I am also using native Ubuntu 18.04. I have the H7 CubeMX repo v1.10.0. I am running the project in STM32CubeIDE. I have verified both the IDE and CubeMX are up to date.I followed the directions given here. The exception is that I'm using the RMII interface and that I'm using the crystal oscillator as my clock source. Otherwise, the rest of the directions were not difficult to follow. On my board, jumper JP5 is set to pins 2 and 3 to allow the 50Mhz signal to be generated by the pin PC8.My application builds and uploads to the evaluation board. I can also run it, but when I try to ping the address given in the linked setup, I always get "Host Unreachable" (ping 192.168.1.10) or when using "netcat –ul 55151" I get service "-ul unkown". 192.168.1.10 is what I set the IP address to under the LWIP settings and disabled DHCP as instructed. I also statically set the IP address of my laptop t

How to find which pin is what on the LM338K?

Hello, currently we are successfully using an external NOR flash connect via Hyperbus on OCTOSPI1, ClockPort 1 for some time (~1.5 year). We would like to switch to OCTOSPI2 because we want to use the other address area (0x70000000UL instead of 0x90000000UL).According to the reference manual and CubeMX this should work without changing any pins.So we replaced in our software:OCTOSPI1 --> OCTOSPI2__HAL_RCC_OSPI1_CLK_ENABLE --> __HAL_RCC_OSPI2_CLK_ENABLEEvery other parameter is unchanged, since we want to control the exact same device. But it doesn't work. We receive a timeout in HAL_OSPI_Transmit() -> OSPI_WaitFlagStateUntilTimeout().We are using the HAL init and configuration routines from STM32H7CubeH7 version 1.10.0 (drivers 1.10.0).Any idea what we missed? Thank you!

Hi everyone, I have the STM32WB55 MCU. The Bluetooth stack is V1.13.0. I know it has its own BLE_Ota application for this version but I wonder if it's possible to use the BLE_Ota application which is written for V1.8 on stack V1.13. So, Is the BLE_OTA application which is written for stack V1.8 compatible with stack 1.13.0?

Hi,I'm trying to import a .h5 model generated by an online AI platform in X-CUBE-AI.7.1.0, receiving the error:E010(InvalidModelError): Model saved with Keras 2.7.0 but <= 2.6.0 is supportedWill there be any support on this version? Is there any workaround to e.g. convert a .h5 to an older version?

Hello everyone, I aim to build a self-made NFC reader based on a ST25R3916. I've read an application note about automatic antenna tuning (AAT) :AN5322 There is a reference to a STPTIC-0N variable capacitor series that is compared to LXRW series from Murata. However, I can't find any trace of this product outside of the application note, even on ST website. Do you know where to find this product ? Thank you for your answers !
