Hi everyone! We got ST232ABDR. I need to verify that I understand correctly the marking on the case: date code: 49 week 2018. Right?
Hello,I am using a STEVAL-ISC004V1 to power up a device (PD sink) that needs 24W (15V 1.6A) power supply to power up and charge the battery. When I connect the STEVAL-ISC004V1 to the device the VBUS LED does not show a solid green and flashes. My device also shows that it is charging while LED is on, and shows disconnected from power when the LED is off. How can I fix this problem?
I started working on a low energy microphone based on SPBTLE-1S. I bought a STEVAL-BLUEMIC-1 module and designed a custom PCB with only a digital MEMS microphone MP34DT05-A and removed the LSM6DSL. Other buttons and LEDs are the same as the evaluation board. I used the same sample code in the ST website(STSW-BLUEMIC-1) and commented out the INERTIAL_APP_Init() and MFT_Configuration() from the original code in the main.c file. Then modify the APP_Status PER_APP_Advertise function to stop advertising the Acc and Gyro. That is all the modification to the code. Evaluation board is working as expected with the modified code. But the custom design board is having trouble. I am here attaching the screenshot of the trouble wave form and the custom PCB design. Can you please help to identify the bug?Thanks in advance.
i've got this problem on cubemxIDE
Hi there!In the S2-LP datasheet it is stated that the typical delay is 40 us: Does this mean that the host microcontroller must use a CSn low delay of at least 40 us when the S2-LP is in STANDBY or SLEEP mode and it wants to send an SPI command to put the S2-LP into the READY mode?What is the consequence if a delay of 3 us is used? Must this delay of 40 us be respected on all SPI commands until the S2-LP is in READY state?Thanks in advance,Pieterhttps://piconomix.com
Hi,I try to establish a connection between the SPIRIT1 radio on B-L475E-IOT01A board and the S2LP radio on the STEVAL-FKI868V1 evk. I found the library supporting both modules (STM32CubeExpansion_SUBG1) and managed to configure both modems. The problem is that after identical radio and packet configuration with 2-FSK modulation I still failed to send any data packed from the S2LP to SPIRIT1. The only thing that the SPIRIT1 radio receives is the recognized carrier. It fails to recognize the preamble and sync bytes. So I would like to ask if it is possible to communicate between these two modems? I understand that with identical radio parameters it should work. Maybe there is some working example that I could use as a base for my application?Best regards,Krzysztof

The manual says that in the fsk modulation mode, you can select one byte or two bytes for the unique word, but I actually tested it and found that the communication when set to one byte would fail. The fault is manifested as the ST7580 has been sending the PHY_DataIndication command to the STM32 when it is confirmed that there is no data transmission on the power line. The length is random and the data is not fixed. At this time, when there is data on the power line, ST7580 cannot receive information. In addition, when the unique word is configured as two bytes, the data on the power line can be received normally, but occasionally ST7580 will still send the PHY_DataIndication command to the STM32, and there is no data on the power line at this time.
Hello,I'm using Nucleo l4r5zi-p in which I configured the USB device CDC. When I transmit data using the CDC_Transmit_FS function some time it returns USBD_BUSY, sometimes USBD_OK so because of USBD_BUSY I'm not getting actual speed. But I'm transmitting continuous data then why does it return USBD_BUSY?Thanks,Yash
# PHO is connected to BLUE_RST which is supposed to be the HSE clock in Cube MX. How to bypass this ?If we configure PD2 and PC12 In schematics it is mentioned as USART pin but in MX the same pin is configured for UART5. If I configure and go to BLE -1 Parameter setting UART5 is not shown . How to we enable the BLE Beacon application option. There is no key switch what we should do in the MX configuration for the button selectionThe schematic says USART Configuration
These are the initialization routine and kindly confirm guide me how to develop the code for beacon I referred various documents an4979-bluetooth-low-energy-beacons-with-eddystone-stmicroelectronicspm0257-bluenrg1-bluenrg2-ble-stack-v2x-programming-guidelines-stmicroelectronics (1) - Page No 40... I tried that as well. Is there is any sample code to port in sensortile.box
Hi there,I am using an S2-LP transceiver on a custom board. I have it transmitting and receiving packets correctly using a basic format packet. However, if I leave the transceiver in RX mode, the 'RX buffer almost full' interrupt fires intermittently even when I haven't sent it a packet. When I read the RX FIFO, the data is meaningless. How do I stop the transceiver from receiving these 'packets'? I used the S2-LP DK GUI to set most of my registers, and my preamble and sync word values appear to be set correctly. I have also enabled the SQI filter and set the threshold to 0 - a perfect sync word match is required. Due to this, I am not sure how an erroneous packet could be received?Thanks,Rebecca

Hi, We are having issues putting the BLUENRG-MSQTR on our board into the hci transmit test mode. We call the following two methods and they both return success but looking on a spectrum analyser, I don't see anything transmitted. ret = aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(1,7);ret = hci_le_transmitter_test(27,30,0);Calling other methods such as aci_hal_tone_start I can see the module transmitting however we require the hci_le_transmitter_test for compliance testing.Testing on a X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 development board we can get the hci_le_transmitter_test method to work and comparing the SPI communication of the BLUENRG-MSQTR vs X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 they look almost identical. We are wondering if anyone has any ideas how to get the BLUENRG-MSQTR to transmit in the LE test mode.
Hello,In a working "version 1" of a cutom PCB, I used a SPBTLE-RF chip to communicate with my STM32 MCU.MOSI, MISO, CLK, RST, and IRQ pins are wired to the MCU. RST is materially pulled-up, and IRQ is materially pulled-down. MOSI, MISO, CLK are configured as SPI bus lines in the ioc file, while RST and IRQ are materially wired but let as Reset_State pins (means high impedance?) in the ioc file so never used nor configurated in the code.In my actual "version 2" of my custom PCB, MOSI, MISO, CLK, are wired to the MCU. RST and IRQ are notmaterially wired to the MCU anymore. BLE_RST remains materially pulled-up with same resistor value (10kOhms), and BLE_IRQ is materially pulled-down (10kOhms). The SPI initialization pins in the ioc files are exactly the same (data bits, baud rate...) in both version.Issue : I cannot initialize the BLE chip.I tried :1. solder the BLE_RST to the MCU and set the pin in the ioc as GPIO output 0 default value. then, wait for the power supply to be stable, wait
I have a problem with a couple of BLUENRG-M2SP modules. I tried flashing the firmware under linux (We have to flash 100+ devices and each device needs a different firmware so plug and play flashing is not sufficient enough, so I copied ST's config from the flasher utility) and the operation failed with the following error message: 'Error: Erase command failed (timeout)'. So I tried flashing with ST's BlueNRG-X Flasher Utility 4.1.0 But I got the same error.Here are some logs:******FLASH OPERATION****** Flash of n.1 device connected by SWD (ST-Link/V2, CMSIS-DAP, J-Link) 18:32:11.640: Device connection by ST-Link/V2 -> Device connected 18:32:12.335: Device Identification -> BlueNRG-2 18:32:13.023: Device Flash Programming -> FAILED 18:32:14.298: Device Disconnection -> SUCCESS 18:32:15.016: Flash operation finished! ******END FLASH OPERATION******debug_level: 2 4000 4445 C:/flasherUtilityTemp/BLE_Beacon_truestudi.bin 0 0028002E315650
Hello,I would like to receive data on STEVAL-IOD003, mounted on Nucleo-G071Rb.I tried to receive the data just by coding uart from L6362A to the nucleo board, but it's not working.Some lines i used :HAL_UART_Receive(&huart1, buf, strlen((char*)buf), HAL_MAX_DELAY); HAL_Delay(20); sprintf((char*)buf, "Value : %i\n\r", buf[0]); HAL_Delay(20); HAL_UART_Transmit(&huart2, buf, strlen((char*)buf), HAL_MAX_DELAY);So is it possible, if yes, how can i do it ?Thanks !

Hi, I want to know what is the maximum power that can be handled by LNA in S2LPQTR IC? thank you.Nilesh
Hi Friend,I used the I2C of BlueNRG-1 as slave to receive data. It always got 16 bytes, but my data is more than 16 bytes. The code snippet as follows. Could anyone help me? What's wrong with my code? I saw the data sheet said that I2C had 16-byte depth RX FIFO, but my i2c data frame had 18 bytes.Thank you in advance.uint8_t I2C_buffer[20]; void I2C_receiving(void) { uint8_t command=0,crc_add=0; uint8_t length=0; #ifdef BLOCK_I2C if (state==BEACONING) //Stop Beacon { aci_gap_set_non_discoverable(); ST_PRINTF("IS Beacon Return!!!!!! \r\n"); return; } #endif HAL_VTimer_Stop(BEACON_DURACTION_TIMER); HAL_VTimer_Stop(BEACON_LASTPACKET_TIMER); memset(I2C_buffer,0,sizeof(I2C_buffer)); //Clean I2C Buffer /* Write-to-slave request received */ while (I2C_GetITStatus((I2C_Type*)SDK_EVAL_I2C, I2C_IT_WTSR) == RESET) { if(GPIO_ReadBit(GPIO_Pin_12)) return; } /* Write-to-slave request received */ if (I2C_GetITStatus((I2C_Type*)SDK_EVAL_I2C, I2C_IT_
