Hello!I'm developing BlueNRG-1 application, I want to add the OTA functionality to my project. But when I flash default OTA Service Manager to empty device it disconnects from ST-Link Utility and can't connect again. The only way to flash again is to pull BOOT pin high. So, is OTA Service Manager firmware disables SWD port? How I can change that? Thanks.
Hello guys. I am trying to drive an audio DAC(PCM1774RGPR) using I2S protocol with STM32H750, and I found that the I2S Master Clock output is disabled due to conflict with LTDC pins. I also found that the DAC requires a SCKI input, which I think that may be accepting the I2S master clock. The DAC datasheet states thatThe PCM1774 can accept clocks of various frequencies without a PLL. They are used for clocking the digital filters and automatic level control and delta-sigma modulators and are classified as common-audio and application-specific clocks. And it seems to tell me it's OK to input any clock. So I decided to feed it a squarewave using PWM.However, I'm quite concerned about whether it will cause any de-syncing problem or not...Can anyone please tell me what does I2S Master Clock do and if my solution is appropriate? Thanks.
Posted on February 13, 2017 at 20:17Hello everyone.I've been working for a long time with SPBTLE-RF modules in our project. I never experienced any problems with these modules. But now we've redesigned our PCB and are going to use BlueNRG-MS chips directly placed on PCB (QFN case, 16MHz ext. oscillator + 32768 Hz ext. low freq. oscillator, step-down converter active). And it doesn't work... Interestingly that FW upgrades without any problems (we are embedding fw image into our software and uptate chip softwarte if it's version is lower than 0x723). IFR (generated by me especially for my hardware design) is updated and verified also without any issues (as I understand both of the mentioned actions are done by BlueNRG-MS bootloader). But when it comes to configuring chip - it hangs. First of all I'm trying to configure DIV, ER and IR keys. DIV programming passes (BlueNRG-MS returns 0 status), but all subsequent operations (ER, IR programming, gap/gatt initializing, etc.) fa
Dear ST Community,Aside from the SPIRIT1 DK, are there any short and simple examples for basic packet transmisstion and reception with SPIRIT1? The W-MBUS is desirable, but not mandatory for my use case. I have gone through the frequency and channel configurations already, so my question is related to framing to and TX <--> RX.Thank you in advance!
MODE_TYPE in MOD0 register of SPIRIT1 only support 2-FSK, GFSK, ASK/OOK, and MSK settings. How can I set SPIRIT1 to GMSK mode?
Hi,I'm trying to setup a virtual timer, which fires every 400us, for triggering a ADC conversion.I found that when this timer is running, even if i comment all the code inside the callback, it would block the BLE radio activity, for example advertising. If i reduce the firing period to ~15ms, the SoC would start advertising again that i can scan it using another BlueNRG-LP.I would like to know what is causing this blocking? Any suggestions to make my code work? Thanks for your attention.
hello everyone, i am using stm32f407 discovery board and i would receive data from a device (load cell amplifier) which communicates via RS232. So my question is : can i use a simple USART in my stm32f4 to receive data ? or i need to use ( RS232 --> UART) converter between the device and my stm32f4 ?
Hi Can anyone please guide me on how to operate st7580 at specific frequency. i am trying to operate it on 83Khz and BFSK
i use bluenrg2 as main mcu , to control a ac 220v ac contactor , the main logic isbluenrg2 -> Optocoupler -> DC 12V relay -> AC 220V ac contactorIf i open/close, the bluetooth will disconnect and will crash very often. Is it not suitable for my case
I am using zephyr RTOS on BlueNRG-2. Now I have to use default bluetooth stack. Zephyr has a pretty good bluetooth stack. It would be nice to be able to use it's bluetooth implementation instead of ST's. That way my application can be easily ported on other platforms.
I would like to create a BT audio streaming device, i.e, bluetooth loudspeaker. This device has a few LEDs and a display. Any Android/iPhone device can connect to it and transmit audio. I also want to add some private GATT characteristics in order to allow those LEDs and display to be changed. I would like to know which are the BT ICs available for that, i.e, BlueNRG, STMWB and so (development kit available?). Thanks!
The software I am using is SDR# and soundmodem.
Hi,I want to use an USB device in order to load the .elf file via USB on STM32F746.How can I do this?Best Regards
I need SPWF FW version v1.1.0 to flash onto the board (pg.8 Select the binary file to program the Flash) have been unable to locate SPWF01S-160129c5bf5ce-RELEASE-main.bin or any updated version.
Dear ST Community,After reading the SPIRIT1 datasheet and thinking over 2 days on it, I still have a lot of doubts and unclear points. May some help me with the following:1. XTAL and synthesizerI have put a 25MHz XTAL on my custom PCB. I saw in the documentation that the SPIRIT-1 also contains an internal oscillator.1.1. Should I disable the internal one and from which register?1.2. Which of both feeds the synthesizer eventually?1.3. What values should I set for RCO_CALIBRATION and VCO_CALIBRATION?1.4. What is the goal of the calibration from user point of view? What value should I expectin the register that store the output value after the callibration has finished?2. 24_26MHz_SELECT bitWhen using a 25MHz XTAL and setting the 24_26MHz_SELECT, table 27 states that the low-power RCO with have a value of 33.3kHz.How will this configuration affect the VCO and any other calculations that I will need to achive RF frequency at 151,4750MHz and channel width of 12.5kHz ?3. REFDIV and PD_CLKDIV
