Hi all, does someone know where can I find a reference design for an external antenna? I would like to connect it via the u.fl connector to the CR95HF. I have found a tool ST25R Antenna Matching Tool. Can I use the same tool for CR95HF? If so what should I pay attention to, and where should I connect the antenna on the chip? I don't have any experience with antennas, but I'm building a RFID reader that can read a RFID tag mounted on the bottom side of the glass. The TAG is ISO15693. Any application notes that address external antenna implementation are welcome.
Hello st community,I'm trying to use the BlueNRG-355 in deepstop mode with timer, to wake it up with an I/O. I used function from Power Save Modes project from the Navigator with Bluetooth function. while(1){ ModulesTick(); APP_Tick(); HAL_PWR_MNGR_Request(POWER_SAVE_LEVEL_STOP_TIMER...);}Modulestick function is as followswhile(1){ ModulesTick(); APP_Tick(); HAL_PWR_MNGR_Request(POWER_SAVE_LEVEL_STOP_TIMER...);}However, when you enter deep sleep mode, you continue to wake up immediately for some reason. After debugging through the HAL_PWR_MNGR_Request function, we found that we could not enter the next if statement. Is there a solution?/* BLE Stack allows to enable the power save */ if (BLE_STACK_SleepCheck() != POWER_SAVE_LEVEL_RUNNING)
Hello everyone,I am currently having trouble making a simple UART communication (+ the HCI command-based protocol) between the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 shield embedding a BlueNRG-M2 (which itself embeds a BlueNRG-2) and my Nucleo-G070RB. I cannot use SPI for this.First, on X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 side (BlueNRG-2) :I downloaded the FW package STSW-BNRG2N-V320 [https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-bnrg2n-v320.html]I used the documentation UM2666 "Getting started with the X-CUBE-BLE2 Bluetooth Low Energy software expansion for STM32Cube" as support,I flashed the X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1, i-e the embedded BlueNRG-2, using the BlueNRG-1_2 Flasher Utility (STSW-BNRGFLASHER), with the STSW-BNRG2N-V320 in order to emulate it with a BlueNRG-2NI removed all Resistors / Jumpers from the SPI and unnecessary lines : (SPI_MOSI R80 & SPI_MISO R79 ), (SPI_CSN R77), (SPI_IRQ / BOOT R85 & R82) , (SPI_CS R70, R76 & R86), (GPIO R81 & R84), (Jumpers J11, J12, J13, J14, J15 (I have a doubt about J15, but I
Hi all,I've a project on STM32CUBEMX and STM32CUBEIDE and I'm going to use the STEVAL-STLKT01V1(https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-stlkt01v1.html ) so I'll have to decide what to choose between X-CUBE-BLE1 or X-CUBE-BLEMGR.Does anyone have any suggestions?
Paired the BNRG2A1 module with the STM32L476RG as recommended in the sample application. But when debugging I realised that the hciReadPktRxQueue is always empty leading to timeout. I have made no modification to the sample application and even with the same hardware is unable to run the application. Any ideas on how to get it running? This is the original hc_send_req that constantly timeout.int hci_send_req(struct hci_request* r, BOOL async) { uint8_t *ptr; uint16_t opcode = htobs(cmd_opcode_pack(r->ogf, r->ocf)); hci_event_pckt *event_pckt; hci_spi_pckt *hci_hdr; tHciDataPacket * hciReadPacket = NULL; tListNode hciTempQueue; list_init_head(&hciTempQueue); free_event_list(); send_cmd(r->ogf, r->ocf, r->clen, r->cparam); if (async) { return 0; } while (1) { evt_cmd_complete *cc; evt_cmd_status *cs; evt_le_meta_event *me; uint32_t len; uint32_t tickstart = HAL_GetTick(); while (1) { if ((HAL_GetTick() - tickstart) &
Hello Team,I am currently working with B-L475E-IOT01A2 for driving a "Waveshare" board "e-Paper IT8951 Driver HAT (B)" for updating E paper display. I am using SPI protocol for the same. I am trying to update the image but only 25% of the board is getting updated. Has someone faced same issue ? All the connections are proper, but the image is not getting fully updated.I request and hope to hear soon. Thank you in advance.Regards,Amey Vandre
How to get the spice model for STGAP2SICD
I have a BNRG2A1. I used RF-Flasher utility to load a first firmware on the board. After that, I tried to load to the board a second firmware, but I'm not able to do it anymore. the jumper in J15 is on, so the board should be in bootload. Any suggestion, please? Thank you.
Hello,I am using a NUCLEO_L476RG and a X‑NUCLEO‑NFC06A1 for ST25R3916 expansion board. When I run the demo of X-CUBE-NFC-6 in stm32cubeide, I am getting visual active feedback from 13.56 MHz tags, but I do not know where to see the Live UID Terminal or any other data that is being transferred. How Do I View the Live Terminal?
I2C after last update is fail on NUCLEO-G474, fail when I write 24LC256 and I2C LCD Display MMCOG21605D6W on the first line has shifted with 4 characters. What can I do to fix it?
I am working with nucleo l496zg development board and I have successfully interfaced x nucleo bluenrg shield and able to receive and send data. I want to implement passcode security to my BLE dev while making a connection and send the data in encrypted modeI followed BlueNRG-2 BLE stack v2.x programming guidelines and used void aci_gap_pass_key_req_event() and ret=aci_gap_set_io_capability() functions to enable security but I am not able to implement it proprely i guess. Can anyone take a look at my BLE Init and help me with a solution hci_init(APP_UserEvtRx, NULL); hci_reset(); HAL_Delay(100); ret = aci_hal_write_config_data(CONFIG_DATA_PUBADDR_OFFSET, CONFIG_DATA_PUBADDR_LEN, bdaddr); ret = aci_gatt_init(); if(ret != BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS) { printf("aci_gatt_init : FAILED!! \n\r"); } ret = aci_gap_init(GAP_PERIPHERAL_ROLE, 0, 0x07, &service_handle, &dev_name_handle, &appearance_char_handle); // ret = aci_gap_init(GAP_PERIPHERAL_ROLE, 0x02, si
Hey,So, I've been spoon fed on starting up a project but this is my first time figuring it out. I've been reading/skimming a few of manuals, a few example programs, and still don't know what to do. When I create a new program, I go to new-> C/C++ Project-> C++ Managed Build -> (selected WiSE Project and WiSE Toolchain) -> default configuration -> Series (BlueNRG-LP), Board (steval-idb011v1), import sources from BlueNRG Development Kit. (I linked it to the BlueNRG-LP DK 1.1.0 folder location) -> Finish. I thought that would ease my library problems but when I go to build a turning on a LED code with just including BlueNRG_LP.h and stdio.h: GPIOB->MODER = (GPIO_MODER_MODE8); GPIOB->OTYPER = (GPIO_OTYPER_OT8);I got 13 errors:...Building file: ../Middlewares/cryptolib/aes_hw.cInvoking: GCC C CompilerInvoking: GCC C Compiler../src/BLE_User_main.c:28:10: fatal error: bluenrg_lp_it.h: No such file or directory 28 | #include "bluenrg_lp_it.h" &nbs
Hi team, kindly assist us with below mentioned queries.1] For part series TS4061AILT-1.225 operating free air temperature is given can we used it as a recommended operating temperature range.2] For the the thermal data of part series TS4061AILT-1.225 what is the thermal resistance of junction to board.
I am using two stm32H7A3ZI-Q board to transmit and receive data (which is a double). I am using HAL_UART_Tramsit and HAL_UART_Receive_IT to send and receive the data. When i connect Tx to Rx on the same board, it sends and receives data fine. The image below, is showing that both boards are working when Tx is connected to Rx on the same board. When connecting the Tx of board 1 to Rx of board 2 and Tx of board 2 to Rx of board 1 it stops working and it receives nan (Not a Number). The image below is showing this. I dont think it has anything to do with my calculations because when i send a integer is still happens. Thank you for your help. This is how i am sending and receive data
Hello ST Community,I have the STEVAL-IDB008V1M boards to evaluate BlueNRG-2, and am working with the BLE_Sync example program contained in the BlueNRG-2 DK SW package. Would someone be kind enough to help me to understand the meaning of the signal that IO6 is being connected to in the following lines which can be found in BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.3\Project\BLE_Examples\BLE_Sync\src\sync.c : // Enable Blue controller signal on GPIO6 uint8_t i = 6; uint8_t mode = 3; MODIFY_REG(GPIO->MODE0, (0xF<<(i*4)), (mode << (i*4)) ); I'm puzzled firstly because the BlueNRG-2 Datasheet appears to say that each four bits of the mode register should be set to binary 0000, 0001, 0100, or 0101 which would be decimal 0, 1, 4 or 5. So I don't know what mode = 3 would do. (I do know it isn't equivalent to 0001 because I already tried that and the example program stopped working). And I'm puzzled secondly because I haven't figured out how any of the possible signals listed in the
I'm using the "STEVAL-IDB012V1" Development board with STSW-BNRGLP-DK Software.I need to interface BlueNRG-332 with another microcontroller via SPI protocol, data flow will be:MCU > (via SPI) > STEVAL-IDB012V1 > (via Bluetooth) > End user and vice versa. Is there any supporting firmware in the SDK for this flow? Or should I code? Thanks and Regards
Hi,I'm working on Power Line Communication with ST8500, with evaluation board equipped with STM32G0 and ST8500.I'm able to send and receive UDP messages between 2 nodes, but I'd like to implement the IPV6 multicast feature. In particular, I want that one specific node send UDP datagram to all the nodes of the network.Multicast came into my mind, but I don't think it is implemented. Is there a way to do so?Regards,
Hi,first I install the BLENRG_LP Navigator, it generates lots of examples, then I use WiSE studio and open the hello world example, the default ld file is BlueNRG_LPS, but I´m using IDB011V2, which has the SoC BlueNRG_LP chip, then I tried change the target in project settings as in photo:But there is no option for steval-idb011V2 board, and I cannot change the ld file...any help?
Hello I have a confusion when the OOK is enabled in the S2LP chip.In datasheet section 5.4.2 writes:The ASK selection depends on power ramping enable. When OOK is selected, a bit '1' is transmitted with a programmed power, set by register PA_POWER[PA_LEVEL_MAX_INDEX], and a bit '0' is transmitted without output power (PA off) and specifiedby the register PA_POWER[0]. In case PA_POWER[0] = 0 thenIn case PA_POWER[0] = 0 then the modulation will be OOK, otherwise when PA_POWER[0] is not set to zero the modulation will be ASK.In datasheet section 5.6.1 writes:For OOK modulation, the signal is abruptly switched between two levels only: no power and maximum. This mode is obtained setting the PA_RAMP_EN=0.Statement "In case PA_POWER[0] = 0 then the modulation will be OOK, otherwise when PA_POWER[0] is not set to zero the modulation will be ASK." looks not clear to me. Does it mean even though PA_RAMP_EN is 0, setting PA_POWER[0] to a non-zero value makes it ASK?
I'm finding that t STUSB4500 drives its I2C SDA line low (for around 1 second) during power up or power down (the device is powered from Vbus only). This prevents all communication with other devices on the I2C bus during this time.Holding STUSB in its reset state does not help.Any ideas how I could prevent the I2C bus getting blocked?
Hello Team,We have one project where we customer used the ST3485EIDT IC for RS485 communication.By looking the schematic design we see that DI pin is connected with UART Tx pin but its series resistor has been removed. We checked the functaonlity and found that device is able to do the Transmit and Receive. We are unable to understand logic by exploring the datasheet.Kindly do the helpfull if something needs to impliment in the design or not.
I am developing a prototype using a L4 stm32 microcontroller with a bluenrg m2sa BLE module which acts as central/peripherial. Also small sensors nodes with L1 annd the bluenrg m2sa modules. I'm having problems with the simultaneous central/peripheral.Could anyone help me understand the timing constraints for the parameters:Scan Interval (SCAN_P)Scan Window (SCAN_L)Minimum Connection Period (CONN_P1)Maximum Connection Period(CONN_P2)Minimum Connection Length(CONN_L1)Maximum Connection Length(CONN_L2)Minimum Advertising Interval (ADV_INTERV_MIN)Maximum Advertising Interval (ADV_INTERV_MAX) Minimum Connection Event Interval (L2CAP_INTERV_MIN)Maximum Connection Event Interval (L2CAP_INTERV_MAX)I have been triying different configurations. but until now, i havent achieved the simultaneous connection.Possible scenarios until now:1) remote node connects to the main board, then the main board fails to init advertising.2) advertise first, stablish connection with phone app, then init scan
I want to debug my custom board based on BLUENRG-355MC using PE micro debugger on WiSE-Studio IDE by ST.1) Does WiSE-Studio IDE supports PE-micro debugger?2) In case it supports, how to choose PE-micro debugger in WISE-Studio IDE?3) In case it doesn't, which debugger to use for debugging BLUENRG-355MC based custom board on WISE-Studio IDE?Thanks.Dalip Sharma.
Hello, we want to use ST4SIM-200M eSIM IC. Do the ICs you sent come with the bootstrap profile installed? If so, how can we transmit the profile information you uploaded to local MNOs? It would be very useful to talk to someone from your Turkey Support Team.
