Is there any detailed document talking about SDK V5.1.1 serial protocol? I found um1052 for sdk 4.3 is very detailed, but um2380 didn't say any thing about the serial protocol it uses. So I assuming the serial command in sdk v4.3 also apply to v5.1?

Dear Zhu,

Your assumption is the right one. The used protocol is still the same as previously.

FYI, we intend to create an specific Application Note to clarify this particular item.

The question has been moved from the "Motor Control Hardware" section to the "STM32 Motor Control" section (the question is about the STM32 MC SDK).

Best regards

Dear All,

The serial protocol used into the MC SDK v4.3 is the exactly the same one as used within the MC SDK from V5.0.0 until version V5.4.6 (aka legacy ones)

Then, for the MC SDK V5.Y.0 and later, a new serial protocol has been implemented.

Best Regards,
