No ST-Link detected - STM32F407G-DISC1

To whom it may concern,

I have seen comments of similar regard with this issue, however I have not seen a way to solve the problem. When I try to debug my code and transmit it to my STM32F407G-DISC1 board it comes up with this "No ST-Link detected issue". I have attached photos, any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the silver box at the bottom? Only a part of your setup is visible, so maybe there is still some error in your setup. Did youtry to connect the board direct to the PC?

Hello @JHunt12 and welcome to the ST Community :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

I suggest you to:

  • Try using another cable (data not charging cable).
  • Test using different USB ports on your PC.
  • Try to connect to CubeProgrammer using different connection modes (Under Reset,...)
  • Upgrade the ST LINK firmware.
  • Try to connect directly to PC (without any Hub or other way).

Best Regards.
