If I realize it is true, is it needed to solder SB12 in NUCLEO-WBA52CG board for using SWO as ITM_SendChar in printf debug?

Thank you for helping!

Hello @Arielu

I think it is a miss understanding from my side. You should solder the SB12 so you can use the on board SWO throw the on board ST-LINK.

Best Regards.

Hello @Arielu and welcome to the ST Community.

The SB12 need to be soldered if you are going to use GPIO32 (Pin 10 of the CN4) as SWO.

Best Regards.

And for using via embedded ST-LINK in the board, is it still required?

I ask because the ITM printf isn't working and after checking CAD resources for it.

If you are using the on board ST-LINK, you don’t need to solder the SB12.

Best Regards.
