Whether ST-LINK will support for STM32F-2 Series or we have to go for ST-LINK/V2?

As I recall you need the V2 based on the voltages. Given a choice, going for the newer V2 will provide a longer term solution, but remember it is tied to ST products. Consider a Segger J-Link if your needs stretch beyond current ST offerings, as it is a more commercial solution, with broad toolset support.

Depends upon the voltage you're running the F2xx at. For 3.3V the ST-LINK is fine. For 1.8V the ST-LINK won't handle that, so you'd need to either: (a) use an ST-LINK v2, or (b) use a level converter between the ST-LINK and the processor (which is what we do).
