When STM32V8 will become available for indie engineers?

Hello everyone. I read that V8 will become available for OEM in Q1, but is there any estimations when V8 will become available for independent engineers or maybe even NUCLEO V8 will be released?

You mean this: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/campaigns/stm32v8-high-performance-cortex-m85-mcu-z11.html ?

Well, Embedded World is just around the corner - that's always a good time for this kind of announcement ...

Hi,

The STM32V8 has an impressive specification for a microcontroller with the option of a 100-pin LQFP package. I just hope the price isn't prohibitive for my application.

Does anyone know or can estimate what the price of the STM32V8 will be?

I also need to know how many analog channels will be available in each package.

Ari

For pricing, you'd need to ask your local Sales Office or Distributor - see:

Andrew,

Since the STM32V8 is a microcontroller that can be used for space applications, I'm only concerned that the price might be prohibitive for most industrial applications. Probably even ST doesn't know what the price will be yet, but I asked in the hope that someone might have seen a marketing presentation for the STM32V8 where a price estimate was given.

The Distributors and/or Sales Offices are the places to contact for pricing - not this user forum.

See, for example, this from @Peter BENSCH of ST.
