What is the difference between STM32F405ZGT6 and STM32F405ZGT6W (STM32F405ZGT6J, STM32F405ZGT6V)?

According to the datasheet the devices with letter suffix is preprogrammed, but not explained how and in what purpose. Is it safe to solder it to directly to PCB without erasing it previously? Thanks.

I know, at some point they might be able to see, clean and wax the floor in the Indiana Jones Warehouse..

The -P and -Q devices in the L4 and L5 are particularly dicey as the pins move around in seriously unhelpful ways.

The -U might open you to IP / Licencing issues, as they are not for use in commercial products.
