STM32U5A5QJI6Q - Which Pins to Use for Programming ?

Hi,

I am working with the STM32U5A5QJI6Q microcontroller and need guidance on the programming pins. I plan to program it using [SWD/JTAG (choose one)] with an external programmer like ST-Link.

Could someone confirm:

  1. Which pins are used for programming via [SWD/JTAG]?
  2. Are there any specific configurations or settings I need to enable in the hardware or firmware for successful programming?
  3. If using the internal bootloader, what are the required connections (e.g., UART or USB pins)?

I am currently working on a project that incorporates the STM32U5A5QJI6Q microcontroller, and I would like to request the official reference design or any relevant design resources for this specific part. Having access to a detailed reference design would greatly assist in ensuring an optimal hardware implementation.

Any reference to the datasheet or specific examples would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Sathiya

For SWD, minimally PA13/PA14, read the Data Sheet

For System Loader options, review Application Note AN2606

For a Schematic, go to the "CAD Resources" tab for NUCLEO, DISCO, or EVAL boards
