I am reaching out to inquire about the availability of the reference design for the STM32U5A5QJI6Q microcontroller

 We are currently in the process of designing a project that could greatly benefit from utilizing this specific microcontroller and having access to its reference design would be immensely helpful in our development process.

Could you please provide information on how we can obtain the reference design for the STM32U5A5QJI6Q? Additionally, any accompanying documentation or resources related to the design would be greatly appreciated.

You can find here all CAD Resources available for the STM32U5A5QJI6Q MCU. The Schematics are available for boards designs only. This MCU is not implemented on any one of our evaluation boards. for more details about the design of a board based on an STM32U5, you can follow the AN5373.

Hi,

We are currently in the process of selecting components for our project, and we have identified the STM32U5A5QJ9(STM32U5A5QJ, foot-print size UFBGA 132 7x7x0.6 P 0.5 mm) microcontroller as a potential candidate. However, upon reviewing the datasheet, we noticed that there are two variants available: one with SMPS (Switched-Mode Power Supply) and one without.

 

Could you please provide clarification on the differences between these two variants? Specifically, we would like to understand the functionality and features that differentiate the STM32U5A5QJ variant with SMPS from the one without SMPS.

Additionally, as we are interested in procuring the exact variant that suits our project requirements, could you please advise on how we can accurately specify and order the desired variant online?

Which variant is suitable for a wearable device (battery powered)?
