I own Altium Designer and it has the TASKING environment for ARM development? I understand it can now work with discrete micros instead of just FPGA based softcores and has STM32 support. Has anyone used it? What did you think? Was it comparable to Rowley Crossworks or IAR? Thanks.

I've just tried to evaluate TASKING VX-toolset for ARM Cortex v4.2r1 on Windows XP. It eclipse based, but  fails to compile the STM34FDiscovery examples.

The  IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM, v. 6.40, 32K Kickstart Edition works fine for me.
