70F6 won't start after reset

so i got a 70F6 uC wired up to an LED and a simple program to make it flash. i plug it into power and the program executes, but then when i hit the reset button to connect the NRST pin to ground the flashing stops and doesn't start up again. so i unplug the power and replug it in, flashing starts again.

according to the reference manual POR and NRST do essentially the same thing. NOT.

    STM32F070F6 ?

    Is the BOOT0 pin pulled to ground, or floating?

    it's floating. i'll try tying it down....BINGO! problem solved, much obliged :)
