No connection in STM32CubeMon-UCPD (NUCLEO-G0B1RE + X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1)

STM32CubeMon-UCPD 1.3.0 does not show any connected board (NUCLEO-G0B1RE + X-NUCLEO-SNK1M1).

I followed the intruction in AN5418(ver.5) and the corresponding Youtube video.

There are no errors when building the code and flashing it to the board.

But the STM32CubeMonitor does not recognize the board, and just shows "Please connect you board"...

I already installed the USB driver for ST-LINK and  I can only see the COM port in 'select tracer port'.

Does anyone know what is causing this error?

Thank you and best regards.

Hello @Yuya

Try to change the mode of connect to connect under reset.

Best regards.

Thank you for your reply.

Does it mean to connect while pushing the reset button on the board?

I tried, but it still does not recognize the board...

Please let me know if there is another way.

Thanks.

Hello @Yuya. Did you enable the GUI_Interface part in cubeMX ?

If you see the COM port in the tracer part, at least it means that the UART connection is OK for sending trace. But what about the receiving path (to get messages from the PC STM32CubeMon-UCPD application) ?

You can also check the USBPD Wiki, specifically for the sink.
