Pack NUCLEO-IHM03 ST Motor Pilot V1.2.9 "Port Open and try to configure the board"

Amandine

Hi,

I have an issue with ST Motor Pilot. I can't connect my board, it doesn't recognize my board and my motor.

I tried different baudrates but it doesn't change anything.

I verified the connector (USB A - micro USB) and it doesn't change anything.

I'm using the MC_FOC_SDK library.

Could you please help me ?

Hello Amandine,

Could you confirm that you re-generated your project with the MCSDK 6.3.0? From pack selection with the MC Workbench to project generation, compilation with your favorite IDE and download on the board?

By default, the baudrate proposed by the MC Workbench is 1843200. To be sure, check the UART init code in the main.c. Be aware that in order to connect the board to the Pilot the embedded code has to run, you cannot be connected if your debugger halt the code.

Last point, are you sure that your Nucleo virtual com port is COM3? If you unplug the Nucleo board, the COM3 will disappear from the proposed list?

Regards
